"This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinjuku, approximately 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station. It is also very close to Kabukicho, which is approximately a 5-minute walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart are a stone's throw away, and there are many restaurants in the vicinity. However, we were surprised that instead of Japanese restaurants, we were surrounded by Korean restaurants and even a Korean grocery store. Having said that, the room is not too small for two people. With its price, I would say it's quite a good deal."

"Comfortable one-night stay at Shinjuku Granbell Hotel — great location and clean, modern rooms. One useful tip for anyone driving: there’s parking available nearby that you can either reserve in advance for around ¥2,000 per night, or just drive in without a reservation and pay by the hour (rates around ¥1,700 for 8 hours at the lot near the hotel). Made it really convenient for our road trip stop before heading north. Would recommend for travelers exploring Shinjuku by car."

"It's the best choice hotel in this area. 10 min. walk from East exit Shinjuku st. We booked 3 beds room and it meet our expectation, big space enough to put 3 luggages. The room clean and had everything we need. My daughter really love bathtub that help to relieve pain from walking all day. Breakfast is good and delicious especially the soup is really good."

"I've forgotten the exact location, but I think it was about a 10-minute walk to the subway station and 10-20 minutes to Shinjuku's shopping area. However, it was pretty good value for money if you stay on a weekday. This was my second time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and the fully self-service, contactless check-in using my passport at the machine was incredibly convenient. Japanese hotels have very early check-out times, before 10:30 AM, and late check-in times, which gives them plenty of time for cleaning. This time, however, I noticed long hairs left by previous guests in many spots in the bathroom. Because of limited availability, I could only book a smoking room. I don't smoke, but the smoke smell in the room was very faint, almost imperceptible. The room also came with a deodorizer spray, which you could use a few extra times yourself, which was a nice touch."

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and relaxing. "The apartment was very clean and big enough for our family of 4. Just that the centre hanging light near the bed is too low and we bang our head afew times. As is very near the street, every night we can hear the police sirens and noise outside very clearly. The rack behind the washer keeps falling down so is a bit dangerous if you have stuff on the rack. Other than tat the apartment is very clean and nice. Location is good also with donki and convenience stall nearby."

"Great location, right in Shinjuku Kabukicho, with plenty of shopping nearby. It's about 100-200 meters from the nighttime entertainment district, so it's surprisingly quiet, perfect for light sleepers. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and drugstores, and a ton of restaurants, which is really convenient."

"First off, the location is absolutely fantastic, and all the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. I didn't experience any of the bug or cleanliness issues that others have mentioned. While the facilities did feel a bit dated, I would definitely consider staying here again. I was very satisfied, especially considering the price!"
