"We stayed on the 26th floor and the view was absolutely stunning. Our room also had an air purifier with a humidifying function, which was really practical. The cleanliness was spot on. Downstairs, you're right in the heart of Osaka, making shopping and dining, whether in malls or small shops, fantastic. The malls also have great discounts in the evenings, which is super convenient. The airport shuttle is right downstairs from the theater, and we just hopped on it for a quick nap and were at Kansai T1 in no time. Staying here makes getting around incredibly easy."
"This hotel is simply the best, my go-to whenever I'm in Japan! The environment is great, rooms are spacious, and the location is unbeatable. Links is right downstairs, and Yodobashi Camera is just across the street from Links. Shops and restaurants are all within easy reach. The location is truly phenomenal. You can take a direct elevator from the Links dining area on the lower level straight down to B1, which leads directly into the Midosuji Line. The second floor connects directly to JR Osaka Station and surrounding malls, allowing you to enter Daimaru Department Store directly from Osaka Station. The location is simply invincible! Even though I try different hotels when I visit, I always end up staying here for many days. The only downside is the limited laundry facilities. It's hard to get a spot to do laundry, there's often no availability, and you have to wait in line if you go late. But honestly, it's a minor issue that can be overlooked."
"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"
"It's a bit distant from Osaka station, but u can easily get to underground walkway to reach Osaka station, (by pass all the traffic, no wait traffic lights )
Free coffee /MATCHA start 2pm to 11.59pm
Vending machines inside hotel if u wan other drinks, and laundry area.
Very nice when u need a drink.
Some restaurant and convinient store near. Sukiya also not far. Pachingko also near.
My room not smart toilet, that is, if u must have a smart toilet. No big deal for me.
Satisfied for what I paid for."
"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama. After arriving from Kyoto, where we had a slightly unpleasant hotel experience, staying here was a refreshing change.
We booked the Relaxing Room and loved the spacious layout, especially the seating area where we could unwind after a long day. We also appreciated the massage machine provided in the room. Since exploring Osaka involved a lot of walking, we often ended the day with sore legs and cramps, and the machine genuinely helped us relax. The room was clean, and the bathtub was perfect for soaking and unwinding after a busy day. True to its name, the room was incredibly relaxing, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The only minor drawback would be the location. We liked how quiet Kitahama was, as it is primarily a business district, but it may feel a little far from popular tourist areas such as Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, which could be slightly inconvenient for some travellers, especially families. However, this was not an issue for us as a couple, as we enjoyed walking around the area. If we return to Osaka, we would definitely love to stay here again. 🙌"
"For Japan, the room isn't small; you can open your suitcase. It's compact but has everything you need. The bathroom is very clean, and there's even a bathtub. On the second floor, there are five coin-operated washing machines with dryers. Almost every floor has a vending machine and an ice machine. I stayed for five days and found it very convenient. It's right near Umeda JR, and just a short walk further is Osaka Station. You can access Osaka Station directly from the second floor of the Grand shopping mall via a covered walkway, which is great on rainy days. There's also a large drugstore right outside the hotel, making shopping very convenient. The location is excellent. This hotel offers great value for money."
"It seems to be a newly renovated hotel. I stayed in a twin room for two nights. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was able to enjoy a pleasant stay in the new space. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was smooth.
Aside from the lack of a closet, the room's design and colors were lovely. I would definitely use this hotel again.
The location is also good, and I would definitely like to use this hotel again when I stay in Osaka."
"This was by far the most comfortable hotel room we stayed in throughout Japan. It was incredibly spacious, easily fitting four open suitcases. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Umeda shopping district, with endless malls to explore. As a new hotel, the decor is beautiful. It's a shame they don't have their own large public bath, though there's a paid one downstairs. While the train station isn't far, navigating Umeda's complex layout meant a tiring 10-minute walk back to the hotel every day after all our exploring.
PS: The smoking room was a bit mediocre. In June 2026, a corner twin room was roughly 1,000 JPY per night."
"The hotel's location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. You can even walk to the Umeda shopping district. The cleanliness was excellent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs and even a drugstore."
"The hotel's location is great, very close to Osaka Station and Umeda. The service was excellent; we arrived around 11 AM and were able to check in early. Other services were also very good, and the room was nice with no issues.
The breakfast was abundant and tasty, and the small pastries were particularly delicious.
They offer a free hot spring and a hot stone sauna, which was a good experience. The environment was pleasant, and free drinks were provided."

Amazing
GGuest UserI loved my stay here! Very clean and comfortable with lots of amenities. The location was great and the ‘capsule’ was roomier than I thought it would be. I had a great time. The only problem was the pillow was not very comfortable and the USB port was not working in my capsule. Everything else was fantastic.
Aatzxreally love this hotel!! walking distance to dotonbori, literally 30 seconds to yotsubashi line and there’s 24hour aeon supermarket to get your instant food and drinks.
hotel is super clean and cosy, with big beds and able to open 3 big luggage at once. Would 100% highly recommend this hotel!!
singapore couple here
GGuest UserThe hotel doesn't provide complimentary drinking water, and there's no in-room water dispenser system. So, every time I wanted water or to make instant noodles, I had to go downstairs to buy it. After a long day, or first thing in the morning, having to get ready and go out just for water is really inconvenient. The TV is old and only shows hotel information. The toilet and shower are separate but extremely small. I didn't get a room upgrade, so my view was of the normal street downstairs, not Universal Studios. They also charged an extra 1200 JPY for two nights as a city tax.
XXige1993Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!
CCherrie YiHad a great stay at this hotel! The location was excellent — right next to Dotonbori Street, making it super convenient for food, shopping, and sightseeing. Everything was within walking distance, and the area was lively both day and night. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.
If you’re staying at main tower residence, you can request for daily housekeeping at no extra cost. Otherwise it’ll be scheduled housekeeping, maybe once every 3-4 days.
PPAPI MARKLively Osaka was very cozy & very friendly staffs who all spoke decent English. Their hospitality was definitely one of the best I’ve been to in 🇯🇵 also a good size room for BIZ traveller (wish they offered 1 King instead of 2 twins). Bfast was acceptable but if u stay more then few nights might get tired of them since it’s the same daily! Overall was a nice experience & will for sure try their sister hotel chains in other cities!
GGuest UserThe hotel is located right in front of Dotonbori Street, but it's not a noisy area. There are convenience stores like Lawson and 7-Eleven nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location with lots of food and shopping options nearby. However it is in a bit shady area with many clubs, smokers and girls waiting around especially after 930pm. Room itself was clean although very tight for 2 adults and 1 child.
KkhoreeThe location is excellent, very close to Nihonbashi, Namba, and Sennichimae. It's only a 5-minute walk to the subway, which is incredibly convenient. The bed was comfortable and the toilets were quite clean. I purchased a room with breakfast, and you could choose between a toast set or a beef bowl set. The beef bowl was delicious, I had it every day! I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
AAnonymous UserComing from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~
