"The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel."

"Hotel location in the hotel area of Tulum, there is a restaurant by the sea, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner with the sea breeze, the hotel service is very good, the staff will speak fluent English, the communication is super smooth, including the front desk and restaurant waiter service attitude is very good, Of course, the service fee of 15% is mandatory for hotel consumption, all of which are included in the bill. The hotel communicates with customers with whatapp. Any time there is any problem, the hotel staff will reply as soon as possible. This is quite comfortable. The hotel is relatively small, the facilities are just like the general, but you can recommend staying and enjoying the holiday house by the sea. The hotel is very close to Ahu Hotel, 5 minutes by bicycle, you can see Tulum's famous Sculpture Mother Nature , There is also a Starbucks next to it."

RRiiiiiiiiiiThe quality of the hotel is the best for the price. The location is a bit bad (there are usually hotels along the seaside in the hotel zone), but this one is in the middle of the city and you can't see the sea, but the facilities are so good that you'll be satisfied even if you can't see the sea. is. The price is cheaper than other hotels and the quality is good, so I can recommend it to others!

LLina Brown ForbesI honestly don’t understand how this hotel calls itself a 5-star property. My whole experience here was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Service is absolutely terrible. Nobody helps you with anything, reception doesn’t care, and every time you call the front desk or concierge, nobody answers the phone. Zero hospitality. Food was honestly disgusting. Nothing fresh, no flavor, very low quality. Drinks taste like water — literally no alcohol. Even the cups and glasses in restaurants were dirty. It feels completely unacceptable for a resort that is supposed to be luxury. We also had a very unpleasant situation with the membership “presentation” scam. They invited us to a “lunch to learn about the brand,” but in reality, it turned into a pushy timeshare-style sales pitch. None of this was explained honestly beforehand. When we complained, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive, as if this is normal. On top of that, I forgot my dress in the room. They admitted they found it, but for two days they ignored me, didn’t contact me back, and didn’t send it. I kept calling and messaging, and still no response. This shows how bad the communication and customer care truly is. After during checkout they asked us to sign the paper that we have no problem with the hotel and requested we write a good review about them. Ridiculous. Overall, this hotel is not worth the money, not even close to 5-star standards, and definitely not the luxury experience they advertise. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, honest, and professionally managed resort.

RRonzoFamily of four (including 2 teens) stayed at the Conrad in room 3307 for one week. We had an ocean-view, 2 Queen room and opted for the Ceiba Club. The room was one of the better-sized and laid-out rooms we have enjoyed on vacation. The facilities were fantastic and we enjoyed the activities offered throughout our time here. The gym was never busy and the daily activities we found to be accessible. The bay in front offered very good snorkeling with several large reefs that held many schools of interesting fish. We also saw rays of various sizes out there too, which was exciting. Beach chairs were always available, which was a surprise, as we read that it could be problematic. Food and drink at the Ceiba Club were worth the extra cost. We lived out that the first several days that the resort wasn't busy, so Ceiba offered à la carte food from the restaurants. We also benefited from Hilton Gold status, so we were able to rotate two of our family through the amazing breakfast buffet at Arbolea. We had dinners at Marakea (Mediterranean) and Autor (Michelin Mexican restaurant). Both were good, but Autor stood out. Would return for sure.

KKseniia KoshevaiaThe hotel is beautiful and overall pleasant, but it left mixed impressions. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the property. However, we later discovered that the cenote was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel and it was under reconstruction, and this had not been communicated in advance. Construction started around 7:30 a.m. and continued throughout the day. The noise in the morning was not too disruptive, but during the day, when the main work was happening, it became quite loud and dusty around the pool area. Workers were constantly passing by, which significantly affected the overall atmosphere. Housekeeping was inconsistent. The floor in our room was sticky upon check-in, and on one of the days, the cleaner left dirty towels on the floor. The location is good if you are looking for a quiet and remote place. We woke up to the sounds of birds and saw lizards around the property, which was lovely. However, it also means that you need transportation to get anywhere, as there is little infrastructure nearby. For us, this was not an issue we actually enjoyed the seclusion. The hotel itself is beautifully designed in a boho style and looks stunning. Despite the drawbacks, I would still consider coming back one day.

GGeorge CyprusVery nice small hotel at the start of the beach street. Can grab a taxi from centro to get there for about 300mxn. If you dont mind walking then its easy to just walk along the tulum beach street to reach any restaurant or beach club. The room was very nice with an outdoor shower and bath although the wooden floor there was rusty with nails pointing out which was as dangerous so that has to be fixed. Reception was very helpful and even gave us recommendations for restaurants and events for the night. They have their own beach access and loungers so its very convenient as its right on the beach. Breakfast was advertised and its a light yoghurt with little bit of granola and fruits with filter coffee and juice and two pieces of toast for two people. Breakfast has room for improvement in my opinion. Overall good experience for the price. No coffee machine in the room although it is shown in the listing images, usually hotels include those for free. There was some camping right next to the hotel which seemed weird, not sure what that was as it also had access to the hotel through stairs connected to the hotel.

EEuniceTsoiThe hotel staff are very nice. The room is very big and has a high floor and is very clean! At the same time, free water is provided to guests. What can be improved is that the coffee table in the room is a big piece of wood, which is too heavy to move around. The design of the room and the hotel is not practical, but it is very beautiful😆.

GGuest UserWe had an overall wonderful experience for our 7 days spent at Hotelito Azul! We went with another couple and each stayed in the Oceanfront Suites (we were above them, they were ground level). The rooms were clean and spacious. Somewhat limited storage for clothes but we made the best of the shelving/hanging unit provided. The shower is a dream. The maid service cleaned our room daily and did a wonderful job! We loved the treats left on our pillows each day. AC was yours to control. One challenge we faced that would have a simple fix was the lack of rugs in the room. You’re walking through sand to get to your room and yes, there’s a bucket of water to rinse before entering however we were desperate for a small outdoor rug or just something at either the sides or foot of the bed to brush off sand before getting in bed. Interestingly, our friends downstairs had an awesome runner at the foot of their bed so maybe just consistency with that would make a huge difference! You wake to a cute basket with coffee each morning and they will refill your drinking water as much as you need it in the room. We can’t say enough good things about the staff. You communicate to them through What’sApp which offered quick responses to any questions or concerns or when ordering food/drink. Larissa, the concierge was WONDERFUL. She welcomed us every day and made us feel right at home and taken care of during our stay. She helped fill out trip with wonderful experiences whether it be tours, great local spots for food/drink or logistics. We rented scooters from the hotel the majority of our vacation days and it was well worth it. We did find the prices just across the street were cheaper however we liked the convenience of renting through the hotel. The food and drink at the hotel is all delicious, although we quickly learned that eating and drinking on the beach does get expensive, so we chose wisely when/how much we ate at the hotel. This just comes with the location. The physical location of the hotel is ideal because it isn’t too far down into the beach strip, which traffic became pretty bad the further you drove in. The aesthetic and details of the hotel are perfect for making you feel like you’re living in a whimsical jungle. FYI to all looking to stay on the beach in Tulum, during April-November or so, Tulum gets a massive amount of seaweed that makes it nearly impossible to swim in the ocean. The hotels, including Hotelito Azul, do their best to remove as much seaweed from the beach as possible, but man, is it an uphill battle. This limited our ability to sit out on the beach unfortunately, because the only relief from the heat was the outdoor shower. Which, again, is lovely, but not the ocean. Luckily, Tulum has so many other wonderful things to do that we did not feel this impacted our trip in any significant way. Those that travel during the better months have a lovely beachfront area to look forward to at Hotelito Azul. All in all, we loved our stay at this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! Thank you all!

GGuest UserI stayed at Azulik Tulum in one of the smallest rooms, and I have mixed feelings — both admiration and realism. First, let’s be honest: Azulik is visually stunning. Architecturally, it’s a dream — truly built for aesthetics and Instagram. The design is beautiful, organic. From a visual and conceptual point of view, it’s easily 100/100. However, when it comes to comfort and practicality, it’s a very different story. Azulik is a pure jungle experience. That can be magical, but it also means: Very limited privacy A toilet behind a divider No hot water at night Minimal comfort overall I understand this is intentional and part of the concept, but when rooms can cost up to $2,000 per night, you naturally expect a balance between artistic experience and luxury comfort — especially at that price point.  The room itself was cute, but definitely not designed for longer stays. This is not a place you want to stay more than 1–2 nights max. After that, the lack of comfort becomes noticeable. Service was not good. I understand this is Mexico and things move differently, but for a hotel with such an international reputation, staff speaking English should be standard, especially since most guests are travelers from the other countries. The beach service closes early (around 4–5 PM), so the experience feels very limited. A few small but important details: The matches in the room were extremely horrible to light, which becomes frustrating when candles are the main source of light, and I love candles idea but if you are reader this hotel not for you! Cleaning could be better.  Hot water should really be available 24/7 at this level. Overall, Azulik is an artistic, aesthetic, and spiritual concept, not a comfort-driven luxury hotel. If you come knowing that — and stay one or two nights only — it can be a beautiful experience. I think its important to remind guest on checking in what are they signing for, coz people don't like to read descriptions and coming for views then being disappointed. Come for the vibe, architecture, and photos. Don’t come expecting classic luxury or comfort. Beautiful idea, powerful concept — but it could truly shine even more with better service, basic comfort, and attention to detail. And I`m not asking a lot here.

DDandI started out in my younger days staying at 3 star hotels working myself up to 5 star hotels these days. On this recent weekend trip i held back on my post xmas spending and got a great deal at Kore so I took a chance on it despite all the negative reviews. I think the 1 out 5 star ratings are ridiculously unfair. Rooms were big, clean, and comfy. Location was decent and had great views of the sea. I only had breakfast as I like to get out and explore, so I couldn't tell you much about the quality of food. The waiters were good, as soon as I sat down, my coffee was poured. After they recognized I tip, I never had to wait in line to get my omelets...lol. best part was the service from the front desk concierge (the Mexican soap opera looking guy) Victor. Dude was always so nice and helpful. Upon checkout, I had a late flight out, he knew that I love bike riding, so he let me keep my bracelet to have access until my shuttle arrived. I did not experience most of the issues on these reviews. English speaking staff was a challenge, but i found that was an issue everwhere I was in Tulum. Overall, if you were to go by the strict AAA guidelines, this hotel would probably recieve a 3-3.5 rating and closer to a 4 by the generous booking sites. This was no Hyatt, but a good value. Dont let those 1 star ratings discourage you. My rating does not include the quality of food...
