Fantastic experience Kind staff and great amenities Rooms are particularly great for couples, very romantic setup I wish the entrance was better located

Unfortunately, we didn't get a room at the Alea Hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel was empty and clearly unoccupied. There was no one to talk to or any sign on site. We tried for an hour to get in touch. Eventually, someone from the neighboring hotel came. We checked in there. The room was a bit smaller, without a TV, and not directly on the beach as booked. The walk from the main road is a disaster. It's incomprehensible that there's no solution. There are so many hotels on that road. A taxi isn't really an option because it's very expensive. The food was quite good, but the selection was rather limited. Breakfast was rather spartan. Actually, very nice hotels with very friendly staff. Wonderful for unwinding and relaxing. Not a great beach resort. Water shoes are absolutely necessary. A beautiful place with its quirks.

The hotel is very small, shop, not busy and has all the luxury. The staff are ready to help you day and night. The service is good but the staff is so helpful and subdued that it feels almost uncomfortable. The breakfast is a la carte, and you will have two choices every time, very diverse and with healthy options. The hotel has a great deal of facilities such as snorkeling with a guide (including) if you wish. However, the hotel was very difficult to find algae on the beach when we were there (in July). They can do little more, it is cleaned regularly, but the split algae are kept a little next to the beach, and then removed. The location is tricky. On the one hand, very remote and on a quiet beach with enough facilities. On the other hand, if you are looking for more variation and not want to use the surrounding restaurants of ”luxe” hotels you should also have some trouble. Tulum center is a quarter with the car which is not the problem but the access to the hotel****** It is very hobbit and full of deep holes. You need to make some effort to get out there. The airport is also at 1.5 hours driving, with a lot of beach traffic even early morning (7 hours). If you want to use the restaurant, the price-quality ratio is questionable, and we found it very highly overpriced because you paid 20 euros for all simple plastic cocktails or hamburgers. If you don't find that a problem, you can get all kinds of food to your room. And lastly, the whole setting looks more luxurious than it is, and for the price-quality ratio, it must be noted that small details such as TV that does not work properly or slow internet connection become important.

The only point to consider, which is not the fault of the hotel, are the high values charged by taxi drivers in the end of the year to go from the hotel to the beach, about 300/400 Mexican pesos, 17-22 dollars.

Not to see that there is no road to the hotel - the hotel itself and the beach with a bomb! It was very impressive that turtles come to shore to nest and you can get onto small turtles from the morning - very nice! The food in the facility is also cool! A very quiet rest for those who want to take a rest in a hotel near the beach and not to go to town, all is there. Nobody gets tired, nobody asks every two seconds of tea and no noisy show of programs, although this can be done to a minus, because sometimes there is little fun, but it was a lot of fun! From minus, there is not enough shopper to buy some ordinary things, especially women's hygiene, or elementary patches, sun protection creams.

In the national park, the environment is very good. The single cabin has a hammock, complete facilities, and comfortable bedding. The service is warm and thoughtful, and the beach is beautiful. The lights are dim at night, which is not very convenient. If you encounter wind and rain, you can only call for room service, which has few choices and is not cheap. There are many people at breakfast, and the waiting time is long. But other than that, the overall experience is very good, and you can walk to the ruins park, it is worth staying
