"Really nice place and definitely a great stay! The moment we entered, it already smelled so good. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable, and everything was pretty much perfect. The check-in details and authorization were provided before our arrival, with clear instructions on how to enter the building, which made the check-in process easy and smooth. The balcony view was a little different from what I expected, but it was still nice. The location was also very convenient, with an Alfamart nearby where we bought groceries and food. The elevator was a bit challenging since the area was under construction, but it wasn’t a big issue. The only problem was the electricity going out around 9 AM until our 11 AM checkout. Thankfully, the room stayed cool, so we just slept through it. 😅 Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back! ❤️"

"Service of employees should be looked into. They are not as accommodating and friendly as other hotels/condotels I have booked. They chit-chat with in the front desk area. Amenities are good, except the shower area/bathroom. The blackened looks in between the tiles are making the whole bathroom look dirty. Putting a curtain would help in prevent splashes on the floor. The whole bathroom room gets very wet every after shower. I love the wall design especially the one above the bed board."

"The 6th floor has a swimming pool, and it's close to well-known hotels and casinos. The check-in process was very quick, and the room was relatively clean. It's also very close to the airport. Overall, it's quite good value for money and convenient."

"I had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and nicely designed, making it a great place to relax after a long day. Ps. I got upgraded to bigger room at the residence side as my previous room having an issue from the noise of the maintenance. The breakfast also offered a wide variety of options, with something to suit different preferences. What impressed me most, however, was the staff. Their attitude and hospitality were exceptional across every area. Everyone was warm, attentive, genuinely helpful, and always welcoming. The level of service really made the stay feel special. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely be happy to stay here again in my next visit during October."

"Last june, I stayed at a hotel with my family. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff welcomed us warmly and answered all our questions with a smile. The hotel’s location was convenient because it was close to restaurants, shopping centers, and tourist attractions. The breakfast buffet offered many delicious choices, and the Wi-Fi connection was fast. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the relaxing atmosphere. There were only a few minor issues. The air conditioner took some time to cool the room, and the elevator was busy during peak hours. However, these did not greatly affect our stay. Overall, I would rate the hotel 4.5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend it to my friends and family because of its excellent service, cleanliness, and convenient location."

"I traveled to the Philippines to visit relatives. It was my mother's birthday, so we stayed in Manila. Whenever I stayed in Manila, I always stayed at the Philippine Plaza, but as soon as I found out it had closed, I started looking for a hotel. My requirements were that it be located on Roxas Boulevard, have good access to the airport and tourist attractions, and have good security. After searching and reading reviews, I decided that this hotel was ideal. I arrived early in the morning by overnight bus, but they kindly allowed me to leave my luggage before check-in and go out for breakfast. They also made arrangements to ensure a smooth check-in. I had mentioned in advance that it was my mother's birthday, and unexpectedly, a lovely birthday cake was waiting in our room. The room was clean, and the front desk staff provided wonderful service with smiles before, during, and after check-in. However, I was disappointed by the manners and attitude of some guests. Dogs were roaming freely in the restaurant and near the front desk (the website I checked said that pets were not allowed, but the hotel actually allowed them). There were also people walking down the corridors soaking wet. The most shocking thing was that, although we know it was our mistake, my mother's coat, which she had left near the front desk, went missing. It was an expensive coat that she cherished. My mother, myself, and everyone traveling with us remembered losing the coat at the hotel, so we checked with the staff multiple times, but it couldn't be found. It was almost certainly stolen inside the hotel. I don't know if they checked the security camera footage. I have stayed at famous hotels in the Philippines, such as the Philippine Plaza and the Manila Hotel, and five-star hotels in various countries, but frankly speaking, this is not a five-star hotel. Putting aside the manners and morals of the guests, it was a wonderful hotel."

"The Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance. Lacking points from my personal experience: 1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges. 2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future? The good parts: 1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality. 2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm. 3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this."

"This 8-day stay was a basic place to crash, but it felt like they cut too many corners, leading to a lot of issues: 1. The hot water relied on solar, so the temperature was often too low. After the staff switched to the boiler, the water pressure became abnormal, and there was a strong, foul odor from a broken septic pipe. 2. The room didn't have any drinking cups, so I had to use my own disposable ones. The space was a bit small, and the old window AC unit was really noisy, which made it hard to sleep. 3. Housekeeping was pretty lackluster. They only changed the bedding and did a quick wipe-down of the bathroom; the floor was never cleaned during my entire stay. I hope the hotel improves its amenities, cleaning services, and water supply in the future to enhance the guest experience."
