"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pillow Boutique Hotel and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Pros: • Spacious Room: The room was impressively spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind. It was well-furnished and comfortable, making my stay enjoyable. • Decent Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes. It was a good start to my day and provided enough choices to keep meals interesting. • Daily Cleaning and Towel Changes: I appreciated the daily cleaning service and the regular changing of towels. This attention to cleanliness contributed to a pleasant stay. • Bright Atmosphere: Both the hotel room and corridors were bright and welcoming, enhancing the overall ambiance of the hotel. Cons: • Location: The hotel is somewhat far from the main city, which made getting around a bit more challenging. • Grab Drivers: There were occasions when Grab drivers had difficulty locating the hotel, adding to the inconvenience of transportation. Overall, while the hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay, the location could be improved for easier access to the city’s attractions. I would recommend this hotel for those who prioritize spacious accommodations and a pleasant atmosphere, but it’s worth considering the distance from the main city when planning your visit."

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and a convenient location, with warm and attentive service, making it perfect for exploring the ancient city and its surroundings. The room facilities are well-maintained and feature charming local characteristics, which I personally loved. Special mention goes to the bedding – it was incredibly clean and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located inside the ancient city, is street-facing, and the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. Those who require a very quiet sleeping environment might want to consider this carefully. Also, the hotel offers a souvenir for leaving a review, but this promotion is only for Google Maps and doesn't include platforms like Ctrip, which is a bit disappointing."

"Pros -free teatime meak (fruits) -only once per room no matter how long you stayed. -free shutter to airport ( we stayed 5 nights so the hotel provided a free shutter to airport). - Night market next to the hotel ( Anusarn Market) - Nice room deco and receptions -Include breakfast for room booking - motorbike rental nearby Cont -No sound proof ( can hear clearly what next room was talking) if you dont mind then okay to stay Add on: 1. accident happened to our room, air con water leakage ( heavy leakage ) after told reception then they repaired it immediately 2. Flood in our room when raining ( water goes inside room and caused to floor wet and wet alot)"

"This resort is nestled in nature, about a 20-minute Grab ride from downtown Chiang Mai, and consists entirely of private pool villas. If you're not focused on city sightseeing but rather on a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend it for couples or family trips. On weekends, the local Chamcha Market near the resort offers a chance to explore, as well as Michelin-starred restaurants and cafes. The pool in the villa is quite spacious, and the staff are very friendly. We didn't include breakfast, but GrabFood delivery was available, and the hotel staff even brought it directly to our room. We tried the restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. It's definitely a resort I'd love to visit again periodically."

"Hotel is a little old and dated. Room size is big but modern comfort is missing: no bedside plugs for phone charging. No coffee machines. Taps and showers are old and slightly rusted. Breakfast choice was also limited. And worst was the parking! I am a little handicap and when I parked at the handicap lot, the hotel said I need to move my car as there was limited space for buses and vans to pass. Then why have a handicap lot there? And though it is by the side of the Ping River, there is really nothing much to see or do by the river! For the price of THB9000 a night, it was certainly not worth the money!"

The room felt spacious, beautifully maintained and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the warm hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, attentive and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Housekeeping also kept everything immaculate throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a lovely à la carte selection and the option to enjoy it either in the restaurant or from the comfort of the room. The location strikes a great balance, peaceful and relaxed along the riverside, yet still within easy walking distance of the markets across the bridge. I had a wonderful stay at Sala Lanna!"

"Shangri-La offers two major advantages: First, they provide free extra beds for children under 12, which is incredibly convenient for families traveling with kids. Second, the garden design is excellent, and facilities like the swimming pool are very spacious and convenient. The hotel's outdoor heated pool is very large, and there's also a sizable hot tub next to it. You can order drinks by the pool, making it a perfectly relaxing environment. The hotel also offers a variety of activities for children with childcare services, which I highly recommend."

"Just checked out of Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai after a 2-day, 1-night stay, and I’m quickly jotting down my thoughts while the memories are still fresh. To sum it up: the service was so good it almost felt a little overwhelming, details fanatics will go wild, but there were a few minor flaws. 🤝 Service is absolutely top-notch From the moment we stepped in, staff members rushed out with smiles to help with our luggage, saying it felt like visiting a friend's house – that's how warm and welcoming they were. During check-in, we sat on a sofa and enjoyed pandan iced tea, and a lovely lady who spoke Chinese gave us a tour of the entire hotel, explaining each facility in great detail. The next day, my mom couldn't figure out the bathroom faucet, and someone from the front desk came up to show her within 3 minutes – excellent attitude. 🛏️ Room is spacious, but the AC is a bit weak The room was indeed very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool, which my mom loved. However, my dad said that even with the AC on full blast, it was only slightly cool, and he felt a bit stuffy in the middle of the night, needing to turn on the fan to feel comfortable. Also, the TV was noticeably old, and the picture quality wasn't high-definition. But the mattress and pillows were very comfortable; my mom said she slept soundly through the night. 🍳 Breakfast remains a highlight They raved about the breakfast, which was cooked to order. We ordered mango sticky rice and Thai fish ball noodles, and they were so delicious we wanted to have more. The fruits at the buffet were also very fresh. Plus, there was complimentary afternoon tea, and my mom said the cheesecake was better than many coffee shops outside. 🏊 Pool is beautiful, but not much time to use it The pool area was gorgeous, but they said it was too sunny in the morning, and in the afternoon, they were out sightseeing. In the end, they only dipped into the warm pool briefly. They didn't visit the gym because it was too small, with only a few machines. 📍 Location issue They also mentioned that the hotel isn't close to the city center. Every time they wanted to go to Nimman Road, they had to take a Grab, which cost about 200 baht. However, the hotel offered a free shuttle to the Old City, but it required coordinating schedules. 💬 Conclusion Overall, my mom was satisfied with the service and environment, but the AC and TV were the two hardware aspects that gave her pause. If the hotel were to replace the old TV and improve the AC, she said she would definitely stay again next time. But as it stands, she would advise those with high AC requirements to inquire about the room type beforehand, otherwise, sleeping at night might be a bit uncomfortable. "Honestly, the bathroom in the basic room type was quite small, and the water quality was just average; my shower head turned a bit yellow. Overall, the room hygiene was good, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Upon check-in, we received drink vouchers that could be used at the lounge on the first floor, but the selection was quite limited. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but it had all the essentials. The hotel's location is very convenient. Just a short walk through the alley next to it leads to the Chang Klan Night Bazaar, and it's not far from the Michelin-starred restaurant Ekachan. We stayed here for two nights, and then moved to the Old City for the remaining two nights. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the rooftop bar, but I heard it's quite good. The hotel attracts a lot of European and American tour groups; every time we returned, we'd see tour buses coming and going. However, luckily, we didn't hear much noise in our room this time."
