I booked for four nights but was surprised to be located to a room in the basement. The front desk was at least kind enough to change my room after one night. The hotel is fairly small so there is no gym or much common area. The room is reasonable, but the bath room light is linked to an exhaust fan which is a good idea but the noise from the fan was uncomfortably loud. The coffee machine is standard but the electric wire is very short and there is no socket that could fit its use in the room except in the bathroom. I have asked the front desk for hangers in the closet and to fix a desk light that did not work in the room, the serviceman came fairly quickly which is rare in the big hotel chains. The staff were all courteousđ. breakfast was okay with limited choices. Given the price is only half that of the big chains, value for money is good. Location is in the middle of subway station taking a 10min walk to access, no nearby smoke shop or restaurants or supermarkets is a weakness.

It was good for the price, but the wifi was not the fastest and there was instability issues.

The staff were amazingly pleasant, the hotel was so cool and clean, the room was so modern⊠I loved the whole thing! My only negative was that the conditioner in the bathroom was empty but if I was staying for more than one night and if I asked for it to be filled, I guarantee they would with no hesitation. Such a great hotel and a quick walk to Barclays Center!

The room is big and the breakfast is simple. There is an Indonesian middle-aged man at the front desk who is very enthusiastic. He lent me a charger and told me where to buy things, which touched me. The location is good, less than ten minutes walk from the New York University School of Engineering. It is very expensive on weekends.

My stay at The Lodge with my mom was really nice. The check in process was super simple. The front desk attendee was really helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. There was a very nice spread for breakfast offered each morning. I was very surprised at the variety of breakfast food provided. Everything was very organized. It also made me feel increasingly safe that the Lodge is located across from a police and firefighting station. Finally, I really liked that the hotel offered a QR code listing different food places and transportation in the surrounding area. The only issue I had with the hotel was paying $25 per night to park at the onsite, uncovered hotel parking lot.
Located in Brooklyn's Gowanus neighborhood, our hotel is less than a mile from Barclays Center. We're within a couple blocks of dozens of restaurants, and public transit options are less than a block away. Work, play, eat, and unwind in our lobby with a game zone and 24-hour market.

The hotel is new, clean and hygienic. Hot water, coffee and tea are available all day on the underground floor. There is a billiard table in the gym. The American breakfast is delicious. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and the service is good. The hotel is in a good location, about 4 minutes away from the subway station, and there is a self-service laundry room about 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which solves the laundry problem. Highly recommended.

The staff is exceedingly helpful. Check in, helping me find a place to eat late in the evening and arranging a car service to JFK.
This stylish, full-service hotel is just one train stop from popular areas such as SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown in downtown Manhattan. Located in Downtown Brooklyn within walking distance to the Barclay Center, the Brooklyn Paramount and LIU Brooklyn campus.

This hotel is located in the city center, but there aren't many dining options nearby. The square was also quite empty at night, probably because of the cold weather. The room decor was decent, and it was a nice touch that the front desk had staff who spoke Chinese.

The room is a bit small, and the noise from the street is a bit noisy. The breakfast is not bad, with eggs, cereal, cakes, bacon, yogurt, milk, fruit, etc., which is considered rich in the United States. The service staff is very enthusiastic, with the natural enthusiasm of Americans!

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel has an excellent location with easy access to the city center. It was clean; however, the facilities were limited. The elevator was not very convenient, and the serviceâespecially for breakfast and hospitalityâwas quite weak. In addition, basic amenities such as cleaning supplies, slippers, and proper bathroom equipment were missing.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: Good, large TV.
Hygiene: As clean as ever.
Service: Quick check-in.
Location: Very close to the subway and train stations, and getting to the airport isn't too much hassle. Highly recommended for getting around New York!
KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely âsensitiveâ person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely donât typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Letâs just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said âIâm surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) ïżŒ either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!
SShuozoujiuzoudekaiwenThis hotel boasts a great location with easy access to transportation, and the shuttle service to LaGuardia Airport is a definite plus. My overall experience was fantastic. Firstly, the front desk staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, making check-in a breeze and instantly putting me at ease. The room itself was spacious and well-arranged, with a perfectly soft and comfortable bed. The cleanliness was impeccable, with attention to detail evident â no strange odors or dust anywhere. Restaurants, shops, and public transportation were all easily accessible nearby. My only minor suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast options, but overall, it's excellent value for money and highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again.
CcolaffeeThe room was incredibly tiny, and the facilities were far from satisfactory. The front desk staff was even worse. When I had a nosebleed in the morning, they showed no concern whatsoever. In fact, when I asked about the deposit, their attitude became even more hostile. All things considered, this has to be the most outrageous hotel I've ever stayed in.
GGuest UserBeing near Soho made it a great place for market research. The hotel smelled great, was clean, and had a great customer experience. And most of all, the free wellness classes held every morning were fantastic. I'd love to visit again.
KKyle TanIt was seamless, from check-in to check-out. I was able to request for late check-out. Upon check-out I left my luggage so I could still roam around. Got my luggage back safe. Breakfast is okay. Not grand. But I was able to eat everything. I normally couldnât eat breakfast from cheap priced bookings cause itâs normally bad, but here, I was able to make use of it.
DDeclan ConnellAwesome location, hotel is nice with nice lobby, nice reception staff and nice bar at the back; but there just seemed to be missing things for a 4 star hotel for example;
No lobby control - we had our stay line up with schools and students just stood all in the lobby blocking doors and exits and basically ran around with instruments forcing themselves into lifts with friends already in line- think we got stuck a few times with 15 minute waits. Youâd think thereâd be staff directing these kids to slow down or have better control in a 4 star hotel. Â
Amenities - the room didnât have a fridge, the tv kept turning off, I called maintenance as the hair dry didnât work and no one came up to replace as promised.
Safety - lastly had basically a druggie threaten us with a knife/box cutter as soon as we walked out the hotel and the bag/door men just watched - so yes itâs a âniceâ hotel but they really need to do some minor changes to keep that 4 star service and not just the look of it.
GGuest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic, just perfect!!! It's a 1-minute walk to Grand Central Station and the subway, about a 3-minute walk to Summit One Vanderbilt, around an 8-minute walk to the Public Library, within a 10-15 minute walk to the UN, and about a 15-minute walk to the Empire State Building. Times Square is also within a 15-20 minute walk. All other tourist attractions are easily accessible via the subway at Grand Central. The hotel's price is incredibly, incredibly reasonable, and the location offers amazing value for money!!! The room itself is also spacious!!! Overall, the experience was superb, highly recommended!!!
GGuest UserIt seems I hit a conference period, as rooms were expensive and hard to book. I tried to get Trip.com to coordinate a late check-out for about an hour, but despite calling from abroad for so long, they couldn't arrange it â it was such a hassle. Then I found a live bug on the bed, and it took ages to finally get them to agree to change my room.
