Perfect
EEtta WongMy family and I just wrapped up a wonderful 2-night stay at Nuwa Hotel Macau, and wow â weâre already planning our return! From check-in to check-out, every interaction felt personalized, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. Hereâs why Nuwa stands out:
⨠Standout Staff Shoutouts:
- Tiffany at Front Office was an absolute gem! So welcoming, efficient, and sweet â she set the tone for our stay perfectly.
- Bellboys were always alert, helpful, and ready with a smile whenever we needed assistance.
- Housekeeping deserves huge praise! They arranged a shower chair for my elderly mom during turndown service â no fuss, just pure kindness. â¤ď¸
- Gym Attendant Arnold went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Not only was he super friendly, but he personally escorted my mom to the changing room and ensured she felt comfortable. The entire gym crew & safeguard team showed incredible patience and care toward her â it meant the world to us!
đ˝ď¸ Room Service & Integrity:
We did hit one small snag: we ordered room service and discovered mould in a yogurt. We simply informed the team to prevent other guests from experiencing the same. Their response? IMPRESSIVE. They immediately apologized, checked their entire stock, assured us of food safety protocols, and waived our entire room service bill as a gesture of goodwill. No excuses â just accountability and action!
đŻ Management That Listens:
At checkout, **Front Office Manager Man personally apologized for the yogurt incident â a classy touch that showed real ownership. It wasnât just about fixing a mistake; it was about valuing us as guests.
đŻ Final Verdict:
Nuwa isnât just a hotel â itâs a place where **staff treat you like family**. Their attention to detail (especially for elderly guests), proactive service recovery, and consistent warmth made our stay unforgettable. **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** for families, couples, or anyone seeking luxury *with* heart.
Weâll 100% be back soon! Thank you, Team Nuwa â youâve set the bar sky-high!đđźđŤ
GGuest User## Facilities: Quite Disappointing
On the first day, the shower drain was blocked, causing water to overflow everywhere. It was quite late, so I ended up using a bathmat to soak it up myself. The next day, I specifically called the front desk, and they left a message when I returned saying it had been resolved. To my dismay, it was blocked again the second day, forcing me to rush out mid-shower to call them.
Additionally, the room phone seemed to have a faulty connection; I kept trying to dial but couldn't get a call through. Even after requesting an air purifier, my throat still felt quite stuffy.
## Service:
During check-in, I specifically requested not to be given a room at the end of the corridor. Well, they assigned me the very first room. Two staff members even came up to demonstrate how to operate the curtains... (a bit excessive!). However, the room service staff were actually very good; they were patient and responded promptly to all my requests.
## Location:
The location is indeed quite out of the way. Taxis are scarce during peak hours, whereas it was much easier to hail a cab at The Londoner during the same times. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with minors, as you'll have to walk a much longer route if you can't cut through the casino. I honestly don't know how people manage to explore all of Macau in a single day. For me, getting back from The Venetian felt incredibly far, and even getting to The Londoner was quite a trek. I was so exhausted I even considered taking a taxi just to get to Wynn.
## Cleanliness:
The cleanliness was acceptable. I didn't experience any allergic reactions while sleeping, and overall, the room was quite clean. However, I suspect my throat discomfort was likely related to the carpet.
BbeebiezI had a not so good experience staying at this hotel. I arrived around 3:15pm and the room was still not ready. Front desk staff told us that we still need to wait another 45 minutes or so, and offered us free welcome drinks at the lounge beside, well thatâs the least they could do when check-in time was supposed to be at 3:00pm. I requested higher floors and they only gave me a room on the 17th floor, and there are like 30+ floors. They told me thatâs the only room available, Iâm disappointed in that as I have booked my room a few days ago and waited so long at checkin.
I requested a non-smoking room, but when I entered the room there was a pungent smell of cigarette smoking. I immediately contact front desk and requested a room change but they refused and told me thatâs the only room they have available (would that be possible in such a big hotel?). The hotel just brought an air purifier, which only kill germs but does not deodorize, and we had to face with the smell of cigarettes during our stay.
In general the room was spacious and had modern design, just not too practical. The bathroom is large but the shower and the bathtub is very far separated, which is very inconvenient after a bath to walk all the way to the shower when youâre all wet. They also have an electric toilet, but the toilet board itself is very small, I wonder how a tall foreigner can sit on it?
One thing I would like to compliment is that the welcome fruits are very fresh and there are many snacks to choose from.
The indoor pools is not up to standard as it is relatively small in size, only good for children to play, and also they only had a few chairs for swimmers to use.
The hotel is far from the main area of the studio city centre, we had walk quite a bit to the main area where all the shops and restaurants are.
The entrance is âenclosedâ but building besides, so feeling much isolated when entering from the front entrance.
DDoufuzhazhaI visited during the off-peak season, and the price was incredibly good value â a real steal, especially as it won't be available at this rate again until after the Chinese New Year. It also happened to coincide with the International Fireworks Festival, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows served as a perfect viewing platform. All the photos, aside from the first two, were taken with my phone from inside the room; one of them beautifully captures the night view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. I was so reluctant to leave, constantly looking back. The whole experience was simply fantastic. I'm already making plans to stay again!
ćśćśé˛äťI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Macau, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
First and foremost, the staff truly made our stay memorable. Michelle, in particular, was outstanding. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our needs enhanced our experience significantly. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit.
One of the lovely surprises during our stay was the thoughtful thank-you card and a little gift for my bambino. It was such a heartwarming gesture that made us feel special and appreciated, adding a personal touch that we will always remember.
We also indulged in the afternoon tea service in our room, which was set up beautifully. The atmosphere was both nice and romantic, creating the perfect backdrop for our tea time. The staff who organized this were incredibly thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was just right.
The room itself was a haven of comfort. It was not only beautifully appointed, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such stunning scenery in the morning was a highlight of our stay.
Lastly, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It is within walking distance of local restaurants and parks, making it easy for us to explore the area and find fun activities for our child to enjoy.
However, the only downside I noticed was that some of the cutlery, specifically the knives and forks, seemed a bit old and worn out. While the overall dining experience was delightful, a refresh of these items could elevate the dining experience even further.
Overall, my stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Macau was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience. Thank you, Mandarin Oriental, for an unforgettable vacation!
HHildegardAn amazing hotel with incredible staff. The quality of the finishing and the maintenance of the rooms is impeccable. The staff are exceptionally well trained, and so so helpful. The staff at the lounge is a dream. Concierge with Edel are super professional and helpful. All around an exceptional stay.

CCC TourThis hotel is right next to the Jai  Alai Hotel. From Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, it only takes a few minutes to walk here, so not having a good view isn't a big dealâit's really convenient. Although they're currently renovating the exterior, and it can be a bit noisy during the day because theyâre working next door, itâs not a problem if youâre out exploring during the day. Also, this hotel has an indoor pool. It's not huge, but you don't have to worry about the weather affecting it, which is a nice bonus! Another thing is that this hotel is very close to the Racing Museum, making it super convenient to visit. It's suitable for both adults and kids, so it's definitely worth a trip!
MMel HeytsyuRoom is spacious and clean Location is okay its near grand lisboa within 5-15 mins walk and maybe 20mins walk in senado square. Front desk is friendly and accomodating. However staff in pool area doesnt speak much in english and we encounter unpleasant service in swimming pool area, staff prioritize what they called â the Regular chinese old womanâ that always goes there and she acted like she own the swimming pool and staff there gather in a corner talking pointing and looking at us and we know theyre talking about us and as we make ourselves enter in the swimming pool.like we have a common sense and know what we are doing and we are just on the side of the pool and they keep on like bothering us that we should be just on the other side when we are just on the corner minding our own business coz that old woman feel entittled and thinks that she owns the place! It make us feel bothered instead of being relaxed swimming we felt unwelcomed. We ended up getting pissed and left and we go to the shower room and we just touch a towel and one old woman again get angry out of nowhere and says not to touch the towels and she asked if we are from philippines and said we must needed to be assisted and not to touch things. We just entered the shower room for like 10 seconds and ended up having this heated argument with the rude lady and the staffs just keeps on yapping to each other with their language instead of settling the misunderstanding between us and the old lady . not leaving us like we didnt exists.before we enter one kind staff said we can take towels in that shelves and later on the staff explains that those old chinese rude womans are regular there and we just need to let their rudness slide not sure if the hotel tolerate this kind of guests behavior. We got offended as first timers to checked-in to your hotel and your so called âregularâmakes your guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and ruined our experience instead of having a good one. They obviously can be defined as âRacistâ.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in Sha Tin, and the room size is quite generous by Hong Kong standards. I was upgraded to a king-sized room due to a bathroom issue, and it even offered a river view. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong!
