I've stayed at this hotel several times, and each visit has been thoroughly satisfying. The facilities, service quality, and food are consistently excellent, always leaving us with a great impression. The hotel's concierge team starts assisting even before check-in, proactively inquiring about our needs and paying incredible attention to detail. Jeffrey, Yvonne, Lynn, and Kurt, in particular, provide outstanding and thoughtful service. I'll definitely choose Hotel Eclat again next time! [smiley face]

The room was spacious, and the amenities were complete and brand new. Since I was here for my daughter's graduation, the hotel even specially prepared a graduation bouquet and a cake. The most pleasant surprise was the customized room cards, engraved with the university's logo – a truly delightful and memorable touch. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Angela from the reservations department, who meticulously inquired about our room preferences and travel arrangements before our arrival; her service was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, the staff at the front desk, room service, and housekeeping were all very enthusiastic and attentive. It was an extraordinary experience!

I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up: 1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong] 2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional. 3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting. 4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent.

Andaz Macau

This time, I chose the Andaz, part of the Galaxy Macau series, for my birthday trip to Macau. I picked it because it's a new opening and not an old hotel. I remembered passing by before and thinking the air conditioning was very strong and comfortable. I also wanted to visit the Grand Resort Deck at Galaxy, and happily, all guests staying at Galaxy series hotels get free access to the facilities, which is truly great value for money. My flight was delayed, so I arrived quite late. The check-in lobby is on the sixth floor. A few days prior, the hotel had sent an email asking for my estimated arrival time and preferred time for the birthday cake. Ms. Ophelia and Ms. Sophia at the front desk warmly greeted us. They were very sweet and detailed in explaining the check-in process, asked about our needs, offered itinerary suggestions, and even wrote down the facility operating hours for us. They also thoughtfully gave my child a gift of juice and biscuits, fearing they might be hungry, and gave us each a waterproof phone pouch to use while swimming. If you're traveling with children, you can request a kids' tent. Upon entering the room, there really was a kids' tent with pillows and blankets featuring the Galaxy mascot peacock. However, I didn't see the stuffed animals that some netizens shared in their reviews; I'm not sure if they were out of stock. The room felt a bit small compared to other hotels, but the children's amenities were very complete: a bottle warmer, a bathtub, and cute, high-quality cups and toiletries. Every evening, during turndown service, the housekeeping staff left small gifts like eye cream and lip balm, and on the last night, they gave steam eye masks, which was a special touch. There's a one-time mini-bar refill, which is a bit hard to understand for a four-night stay – regardless of the number of nights, it's only once. They provided two pairs of slippers and a gift box from Yeng Kee Bakery. Access to the Galaxy Kids Club and the Marriott Kids' Zone is free for two hours daily. The Grand Resort Deck is also free, but entering from the Marriott or walking there, or taking a shuttle to the 2nd floor of Galaxy, is a bit inconvenient. There are also too few changing rooms and no spin dryers, so it's a hassle to have to put on your swimsuit in the room before going. There's a welcome drink at noon, and from 5:00-7:00 PM, there's an alcoholic afternoon tea, but there are too few seats and too many people, with limited food choices. We opted to pay for breakfast at the Andaz Kitchen one day; you can just queue up to buy and enter. It was quite exquisite and delicious, but the dining tables were a bit small, and there seemed to be a shortage of staff, making table clearing slower. You can order coffee, tea, or juice at the table... Overall, the experience was good.

This is actually a great establishment. Location wise is easily accessible, price wise is decent, has a good privacy. I would say this hotel is more of a Chinese mainland kind a type. It does’t have proper coffee in the room, most of the staff speak Mandarin instead of English, the decoration and stuff are too. What I meant by privacy is that this hotel’s lobby is on the 38th floor and there is a separate elevator to go down to the room floors. However, to go down to the entrance is either go back to the lobby and change, or go to the gym and restaurant and take other elevators at the back. It is like a maze. My room view is magnificent, facing Macau tower, the bridge, and the Sands. The gym and pool are also nice. In general, this is such a proper family hotel with a decent price. It would be so much better for me personally if they have Netflix as well as proper coffee like Nespresso.

Outstanding service throughout our stay! From the moment we arrived, every staff member went above and beyond. I particularly want to highlight the lift operators – they managed the flow of guests seamlessly and offered great suggestions on navigating the ground floor / Level 1 exits. This was especially helpful because The Londoner's layout can be quite confusing at times. The breakfast buffet at Churchill's Table was exceptional – the food was fresh and varied, the restaurant decor was elegant, and the service was warm and attentive. Although we didn't get to try dinner, based on the breakfast experience, I'm confident it would be of equally high quality. Overall, a fantastic stay – we'll definitely be back! 澳門嘅熱情招待,令人難忘!

This is a great hotel with excellent value for money. It's right next to the Sands Hotel; you can take the Sands shuttle from Gongbei Port, and after getting off, the hotel's back entrance is just across the road. It's also only a 10-minute walk to the Macao Science Center. If you want to explore the city center, public transport is convenient; to get to The Venetian, you can take a shuttle from the Sands Hotel. The hotel has a lovely Portuguese flair, with a swimming pool and a gym. The rooms remind me of the Royal Park Hotel in Hong Kong. The front desk staff were very polite, attentive, and warm. Seeing that I was traveling alone with my child, they proactively asked if I needed a king or twin beds and checked for available rooms for early check-in. When I needed extra water or pillows, housekeeping responded very quickly. The restaurant service was also great, with a nice Nanyang (Southeast Asian) style. Breakfast was busy, requiring a short wait, and the dishes were more Western, but my child said the bread and pastries were delicious, and there was a good selection of juices. The lobby staff were also excellent; they proactively opened doors for guests and even gently reminded children not to run in the lobby. The only thing I think could be improved is that the mattress and pillows are a bit too soft.

Booked this hotel nearby for my sister's TF Sports Meet! Everything exceeded our expectations in the best way possible! From check-in, we were already so impressed with the hotel's service. The bed was incredibly comfortable – a real lifesaver for someone like me who struggles with severe insomnia! I was drifting off to sleep within half an hour. Housekeeping was also impeccable, and breakfast was delicious! It was an amazing experience, and this will definitely be our top choice for our next trip to Macau!

Grand Coloane Resort

9.2/10
Very Good

I booked the Grand Coloane Resort for my parents in Macau, and it completely showed me a different side of Macau, distinct from the bustling Cotai and Macau Peninsula. This area isn't close to busy commercial districts, but it boasts exclusive panoramic views of Hac Sa Beach in Coloane. Our room had an open-air balcony where we could directly enjoy the beach. The hotel itself features a classic Portuguese resort style, with spacious and grand architecture, lush gardens, and a strong tropical ambiance. While the hotel has been around for a while, the room's cleanliness was just so-so. There was actually a bunch of hair on the bed, making me question the thoroughness of the cleaning and even whether the bedding was changed after the last guest. The hotel's biggest highlight is its unique location. It's right next to Hac Sa Beach, just a few minutes' walk to the sea. Watching the sea in the morning and enjoying a stroll in the evening breeze were both very pleasant. Compared to the hustle and bustle of downtown Macau, this place is less crowded, quiet, and very private, making it ideal for family trips, relaxation, and a slow-paced vacation. The hotel's service was pretty good. There's a shuttle bus to the city, and the facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped, including garden relaxation areas, leisure trails, and sports fields, suitable for adults to relax and children to play. Overall, the Grand Coloane Resort is one of the most suitable hotels in Macau for a relaxing getaway. There are no crowds or commercial noise, just the sea, evening breezes, greenery, and a peaceful living environment. If I'm looking for a pure relaxation trip, despite the distance, I would consider staying here again, but only if the room's cleanliness is guaranteed!

The Landmark (Hotel) has a great location, making it convenient to get anywhere, and there are more dining options than in Taipa. You can take a direct bus to Rua do Cunha right from the hotel entrance. I visit Macau almost every month! I love Macau! 🇲🇴
