GGuest UserMy recent stay at the Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau far exceeded my expectations, and I must particularly commend their incredibly responsible service! I accidentally left my dental aligners in the room after checking out, and honestly, I didn't think I'd get them back. To my surprise, the hotel staff found them, meticulously recorded the details, and kept them safe. When I called later to inquire, customer service responded immediately, clearly explaining the item's status and the retrieval process. The entire process was professional, efficient, patient, and thorough, truly making me feel that the hotel values guests' belongings and maintains a high level of professionalism. They absolutely deserve praise and my gratitude!
The hotel's location is excellent, making both getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. It's right next to the New Yaohan department store, and within a 30-minute walk, you can reach popular attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's and the Macau Museum – perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Public transport is easily accessible, with the Almeida Ribeiro bus stop just a 5-minute walk away, offering buses to various destinations.
The family room we booked was fantastic. It was about 40 square meters, well-laid out, spacious, and bright, featuring two large beds with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the toiletries were provided. It was clean and odor-free, which I greatly appreciated.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, not far from Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and right by the sea, offering distant views of the sea-crossing bridge. The room is quite spacious, well-equipped, and relatively new, featuring a classic European style, and even has a sea-facing balcony. The overall cleanliness is excellent, the bed is large and comfortable, and it's very quiet at night. The front desk staff are polite and attentive. The only minor drawback is that dining options nearby are not very convenient, and the Fisherman's Wharf area nearby feels quite desolate. Overall, I think it offers great value for money.

GGary H.K. ChanIt was our anniversary and Gary at reception offered us a lte check out since we arrived at the hotel quite late. We were also upgraded together with a free red wine as our gift and we were thrilled and we were further offered 2 complimentary breakfast althought we didn't use att the end. I found out that I didn't take my airpods with me at the time when I checked out and we went to lunch. I came back and then 2 receptionists helped me out and called the room to bring it back down even after checkout, I m so pleased by the services Ascott provided me and to us.
Thank you very much and I will for sure come again.
Btw the room we stayed was really nice spacious and comfortable.

XXiaokaTerrible value for money. Aside from the cartoon elements which my child loved, the room facilities were basic, and the space was tiny, making it feel cramped. We struggled to find space for even two 20-inch suitcases. The shower facilities were old and worn out. The curtains let in so much light from the side, waking us up early every morning no matter how we tried to close them. For a five-star hotel or resort, the breakfast (at Angel's) was incredibly sparse. They only had macaroni with chicken breast, and for bread, just toast and baguettes that were hard enough to break a tooth. In the end, we had to go to McDonald's for breakfast.

GGuest UserI couldn’t have asked for a better place to escape the big city. The hygiene standard was excellent – everything felt very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast offered so many options, something for every taste. The swimming pool was a highlight: nice and deep, great for a proper swim. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, making it the perfect choice if you truly want to unwind. Highly recommended!

It's super convenient for getting things done, there are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get to the border crossing. Plus, the hotel offers shuttle service. GGuest UserTransportation: I chose this hotel for a concert, and it was super convenient to get to the Galaxy Arena. It's just two stops on the light rail, and the hotel is very close to the station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Plus, there are many supermarkets and restaurants right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. There were no stains or dust on the tables or sinks, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job, even folding my pajamas.
Service: Before I arrived, I saw many reviews complaining about poor staff attitudes, but my actual experience was very positive. All the staff I encountered were friendly and greeted me warmly. Any issues I had were quickly resolved by calling room service, which was just a quick press of '6' on the phone.
Environment: The environment was good, but the soundproofing was really bad. I could clearly hear people walking in the hallway and even conversations from the next room.
Facilities: The facilities weren't new, but they were well-maintained. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, and the hotel kept it too cold, so I turned it off. Even with it off, it was still cold, which might be due to the room's orientation. I stayed in Macau for four days in May and didn't need to use the AC once, haha. The temperature without it was just right, even a bit cool.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay!

It's right across from the airport, which has its own shuttle service, and the monorail station is next door, making it super easy to get around and explore. We had a sea-view room, and it felt much less crowded and busy compared to the casino areas. If you do want to go to the casinos, the hotel staff are very helpful. Overall, it's excellent value for money!

GGuest UserThe hygiene is good, and the sea-view breakfast environment is pleasant. It's convenient to get there by taking the Galaxy Shuttle and crossing the skybridge after getting off. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to The Venetian, but it only runs a few times a day. The facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer. A deposit of 500 MOP is required, payable only by Alipay or cash, WeChat is not accepted. The service is decent; I didn't have a power adapter for charging, and they sent one up immediately.
