We recently stayed at Citigo Hotel shanghai bund for 6 nights, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly team that made me feel welcome right away. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect of my stay, always eager to assist and ensure my comfort.
The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, and spacious, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The housekeeping team kept everything in pristine condition throughout my stay. The water bottles and amenities were constantly replenished.
What really stood out, however, was the staff. Whether it was the front desk team helping with local recommendations, the restaurant staff providing great dining suggestions, or the concierge offering insightful tips on the best places to visit in the area such as 苏州市and 乌镇. Everyone made sure I had everything I needed. Special mention goes to staff members who worked the night shift, who was exceptionally helpful when I needed assistance with booking tours and handling a small issue I had with my reservation.
This hotel is a true gem, and it’s clear that the management invests in providing top-tier service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a genuinely pleasant experience with staff that truly cares. I’ll definitely be back!

I booked this hotel mainly because it was so close to the concert venue we were attending with my child. Initially, I had some reservations after seeing quite a few negative reviews online, which made me a bit worried. However, the location is truly a huge plus – it's just a short walk from Xujiahui Metro Station, Exit 10. The front desk attendant (a lovely lady) was incredibly friendly, and her service was attentive and genuinely warm – truly welcoming! Our standard double room was absolutely pristine and well-kept. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai!

I stayed in Shanghai for two days, with the first night at the Deep Pit Hotel and the second here. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was excellent. It had a very cozy feel, and the service was great. Personally, I found the experience here far better than at the Deep Pit Hotel (which, to me, felt more like a novelty or a photo-op spot). At the Deep Pit, despite a large staff in the restaurant, the food was mediocre and didn't compare to other four or five-star hotels. This hotel's restaurant, however, was fantastic: breakfast was available until 12 PM, and they even offered late-night supper (wontons). The lobby also featured entertainment facilities. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance. Just a small suggestion: for breakfast, it would be great if the *youtiao* (fried dough sticks) could be cut into smaller portions. A whole stick can be too much for one person, leading to waste if it's not entirely finished or to their liking.

In a Mega city like Shanghai with a vast area the location was very convenient to go to by metro.because of my lack understanding Chinese language when ever i go to china one of the difficulties I have is to find a supermarket to buy myself some fruit. but this hotel was ideal for me because it had a fruit market almost next door. the accommodation itself was very nice and tidy though not a modern place but cozy and clean staff were extremely good and helpful. they offered me a free breakfast and allowed me to check out about 4 pm without asking me to pay any extra

Arrived late eith empty stomach but the staff was really helpful and told me where can i get the food.
The gym is small but is enough for people just stay for 1 or 2 nights to remain exercise.
Really awesome place! It was really tidy and great value for money. I like it so much that I extended my stay by another 10 days.
There are three small malls all within a 10 minute walk which is really convenient when it comes to lunch or dinner.
Although, if you plan to go to central Shanghai, it’ll take you close to 40-50 minutes on the metro. Fortunately, the metro stop is only a short walk away.
The hotel environment is good. It is convenient to take a taxi. The front desk service attitude is good. The room is clean and tidy. The bed is very soft. There are free small drinks. The stay experience is very good

DDominika MariaThe hotel perfectly met my needs.
Food: Breakfast was excellent! It had both Chinese and Western options, and it was not monotonous. I stayed for 2 days and there were totally different choices each day. The night dumplings with all the toppings were delicious too! And the freshly grounded welcome coffee was perfect.
Staff: I got better service than in many luxurious hotels. Extremely friendly, nice, and helpful. I needed a lot of organizational help including printing, technical help etc, and the hotel staff, especially Angel. helped me more than I expected. Not only was she available all the time, but also didn't mind to go above and beyond to not only help me solve the problems, but also to make sure I'm comfortable and satisfied.
Room: clean, modern, spacious, well-decorated, had towels, bathing products, slippers, water and a kettle.
Hotel: Beautifully decorated with attention to details. Gym has 2 treadmills, a bike, and weight-lifting station. There was a fake fire place, sooo many books, pool and mini soccer.
I will be coming back!
