City of Dreams - Morpheus Macau

9.7/10

Staying in Morpheus has been a gorgeous experience for both my friend and me. Both its architecture and service are top-notch! We arrived at 12 noon aiming to simply drop.off the luggage to wait for checking into.the room at 3 pm. The receptionist kindly advised us that the room will be available at around 1:30 pm. Then, he personally took us to the room and patiently explained to us all the advanced operating tech in it. The ambience and the facilities in the room are unforgettable! This is one of the best value for money hotel-stay I have come across so far! Thank you for booking this nice hotel for us and look forward to my next visit there! M. Chan

I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up: 1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong] 2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional. 3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting. 4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent.

Had an incredibly rejuvenating trip to Macau staying at The Londoner Macao. The hotel's design is exquisite and grand, with complete facilities, and it's located right above a shopping complex – the location is simply unbeatable. I have to give a special shout-out to Hayley and Michelle who assisted us. Hayley was incredibly attentive and thorough during check-in, and her gentle demeanor and beauty left a strong impression. She proactively shared local tips for exploring. Michelle was attentive throughout our stay, responding to our needs promptly and gently. The genuine and caring service from both staff members truly eased our travel fatigue and gave us a strong sense of belonging, making me feel so good about Macau 🇲🇴. Overall, everything was impeccable. It's definitely worth returning to and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Macau!

Our family trip to Macau with the kids was an absolute delight, thanks to our stay at The Parisian Macao. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations. The room décor was exquisite and tastefully done, the space was generously sized, and the bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly. The soundproofing throughout the room was excellent, ensuring our two children could rest undisturbed by any outside noise. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a direct view of the iconic Eiffel Tower – a grand sight during the day and even more enchanting at night when lit up, creating a wonderfully atmospheric backdrop for photos. The bathroom was perfectly designed with separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were comprehensive, showing great attention to detail. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they even offered thoughtful and practical tips for family outings. The common areas were spotless, and the facilities were top-notch. The complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the border gate and surrounding shopping districts made getting around incredibly convenient. Whether it was a post-dinner stroll to enjoy the Eiffel Tower light show or an easy trip to the various resorts in Taipa, everything was effortlessly accessible. Our stay was both comfortable and rejuvenating; both the hotel's amenities and service were outstanding. It's truly ideal for family travel. This stay was impeccable, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Macau. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling to Macau.

1. The check-in process at the front desk was chaotic. After receiving my room card, the staff didn't bother to inform me that the elevators were divided into high and low zones. I went straight to an elevator, only to discover I was in the wrong zone after going up. Already tired and wanting to rest, I had to go back down and switch elevators, which was a huge hassle. What made it worse was that the front desk staff clearly saw me heading to the wrong elevator but didn't say anything. Their lack of proactive service was very disappointing, and it really soured my overall check-in experience. 2. I went to a concert and left my mom alone at the hotel. After she returned from the supermarket, she noticed someone had entered the room – the pillows were tidied, and slippers were left out. However, we hadn't requested any turndown service. I don't understand why someone would enter the room without permission; for a hotel of this size, it's quite unacceptable.

Take bus 21A directly to the hotel. Hotel Guide: 1. This hotel is mostly frequented by foreigners and Hong Kongers, making it relatively quiet. The hotel used to be a Westin. Although it's a bit old, it's well-maintained, and there's no musty smell from the room carpets. All rooms are sea-view rooms. You can check in early around 11 AM. A big thank you to Jenny at the front desk for her excellent service. 2. Hotel breakfast can be purchased on Ctrip for 91 RMB per person. The group meal deals on Dianping are a good value, and the Chinese restaurant has tasty food. 3. There are Portuguese restaurants near the hotel if you have a higher budget. 4. Hotel recreational facilities include swimming, table tennis, basketball, chess, billiards, a children's play area, and more. 5. The hotel has a bus, 21A, with two stops, east and west bound. Make sure to check the direction before boarding. Check the 'Bus Stop Reporter' app to see when the bus is approaching, then head out. Although the intervals might seem long, the bus arrives quickly because it doesn't stop if no one is getting on or off. Remember to download MPAY; you'll need to top it up with MOP cash. Bus rides get a half-price discount, but there's no discount for the light rail. It's a quick ride to Coloane Village, passing Hac Sa Beach and Cheoc Van Villas. 6. The hotel offers four daily complimentary shuttle buses to Grand Lisboa Palace.

Hotels in Taipa are generally quite expensive, so Grand Lisboa Palace Macau offers a relatively good value for money. The room comes with a universal adapter and disposable amenities. If you need more water, you can simply ask the staff, and their service attitude is quite good. There's a free shuttle bus at the entrance that goes to Hengqin Port and Gongbei Port (Barrier Gate). If you want to go to the Venetian, you can take a public bus from the entrance or walk to Grand Lisboa Palace and catch a shuttle from there.

The hotel's location is pretty good; you can take the Sands shuttle from across the street. However, after staying for one night, I was severely bitten by mites. My body was so itchy that I had to go to the hospital for medication. I hope the hotel can disinfect more thoroughly. For those planning to stay, I recommend bringing your own disposable bedding. The luggage storage service at the lobby is excellent, but the restaurant staff's service attitude is just average.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, which takes around 15–20 minutes even with luggage. There’s also a nearby public bus stop that provides convenient access to the Cotai area. The housekeeping staff were friendly as well. Overall, the stay was good, although the design feels a bit old-school. The in-house casino has also ceased operations since November 2025.

This hotel definitely has a retro vibe, like something from the 90s. You get what you pay for, after all; the opulent Galaxy is right across the street, but it's double the price. It's about a six-stop light rail ride from the airport to Pai Kok station. From there, you enter Galaxy Entertainment, walk through the lobby, cross the road, and you're there. Getting to the East Asian Games Dome is super convenient, just four stops away! The room is fully carpeted, but thankfully there's no weird smell – it's very clean. The bathroom has a tub, but the showerhead is built into the wall, which is a bit awkward. However, the water pressure is excellent, more than making up for that minor flaw. It's a shame the gym hours are only 10 AM to 6 PM, which isn't ideal for early birds. I ended up going for a morning run instead. To my surprise, a quick left turn led me to the Taipa waterfront, where I could enjoy the scenery while breaking a sweat. My biggest complaint is the breakfast; I honestly don't recommend it. There's hardly anything to eat, but maybe my expectations are just too high. You're better off going to Tsui Wah at Galaxy across the street for their breakfast set, which costs 60 MOP. The cleaning staff were excellent; they brought me bottled water several times without any fuss. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money!
