"This hotel genuinely offers the best service I've encountered, bar none, including those from big 5-star chains. The customer service communication via WeChat was incredibly gentle and patient. From our pick-up at the station for check-in, the staff were exceptionally thoughtful and genuine. When it rained, they even brought half a dozen umbrellas to help us with our luggage – truly attentive service throughout! 👍 The front desk staff were as friendly and welcoming as family, and the complimentary afternoon tea was a perfect touch, instantly soothing our travel weariness. The room's decor was even more stunning – refined and elegant, with impeccable attention to detail. Our dedicated staff member even drew a hot spring bath for us ahead of time. Returning from the ancient town after a light drizzle and then soaking in that warm bath was simply heavenly. Truly couldn't have been more blissful! Later in the evening, we requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered without a hitch – truly outstanding, 'Haidilao-level' service! Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was also superb 😋. This is what truly makes a trip memorable."

"I was amazed from the moment I entered the gate. There are surprises everywhere. There is also this natural wabi-sabi style B&B in Baisha. The front yard is very natural as a whole. Every place is just right for me. Where is it really? Every shot without any processing is perfect. What’s even more surprising is the backyard, which has a wooden house, a bonfire, and a large platform. You can lie on a deck chair and relax while facing the snow-capped mountains. It’s really comfortable to stay in any B&B anywhere. Once you arrive at the B&B, you stay there all the time to relax. It’s really I don't want to go anywhere. The bedding in the room is very comfortable. Because I came here in winter, the temperature is still relatively low at night. The whole room is very comfortable with floor heating. Every experience reflects the careful layout of the B&B. Everything used is carefully designed. It is designed and very comfortable to use. Such a treasure B&B is really rare. This trip is relatively short and I will leave after one day. Next time I come to Lijiang to stay a few more days, I will come to the B&B to relax. Highly recommended. PS: The store manager is super nice. I was tired from walking around Baisha Ancient Town, so I made a special trip to the ancient town to pick me up. The guesthouse is nestled in a quiet village, offering an incredibly peaceful environment where the only sounds are the wind, birdsong, and the majestic call of the snow-capped mountains. The breathtaking phenomenon of 'Golden Mountain Sunrise' each morning was a daily highlight, a magnificent spectacle we could enjoy exclusively from our room or terrace. The rooms are simply designed yet comfortable, and the facilities are brand new. The complimentary breakfast was comforting and satisfying, and the small gym was perfect for basic workouts. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. I'd read reviews praising its 'peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle,' and it was exactly what I was looking for! If you're seeking tranquility while still wanting to experience the spectacular snow-capped mountain views, this place is absolutely ideal. It truly deserves all the high praise and excellent ratings. (A little insider tip: make sure to experience the evenings here! The sight of the 'cyan-robed little mountain' (a unique nighttime view) somehow radiates a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended! 👍)"

At night, the warm yellow lights illuminate the space, creating a fairytale-like beauty. The hot spring is a must-try; the moment you soak, the day's fatigue is gently melted away. "I came to Yunnan alone during the off-season and got upgraded to a larger room at this hotel in Yuhu Village for free! I am really satisfied with the hotel environment and service! You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the room during the day and the stars at night. The housekeeper at the front desk was really considerate. She would remind us of the sunrise time the next day so that we could watch the sunrise over the Golden Mountain from the room. She would also send us a message to remind us to wear more clothes as it was cold the next day. All in all, it was a very satisfying stay and I will definitely come again!"

"The experience of staying at the Sweeten Resort was really great! Every detail from booking to check out was intimate and comfortable, completely exceeding my expectations. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the decoration style is modern and simple, very warm. Facilities are all available: the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and washing machine, which can fully meet the needs of short-term home; the bathroom is clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water; the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the sleep is very reliable. "We stay for 2 nights (11-13 Sep). Excellent view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 玉龙雪山 & location is walkable to Baisha Ancient Town 白沙古镇 and is accessible by car . Our room is on the 2nd floor and they eagerly helped to carry our luggages up. Spacious room, with a balcony view and has a projector with good selection of movies. Communication was seamless through WeChat and we could ask about laundry and misc stuff in there. Although we had no luck with golden sunrise on the snow mountain 日照金山, the view is still beautiful. Breakfast was included with plenty of varieties. We requested for breakfast in the room on the first day and went down on the second day. Our bellies were full to the brim. At night, they lit up the bonfire in the garden but we never had the chance to join since we were tired from exploring during the day. They have a resident cat who is always busy in the garden. Would be great if toilet has bidet and the stairs up to 2nd floor has a roof extended out to shelter from the rain. Staff were really attentive and helpful as well. Overall, a comfortable stay recommended for all."

The location is perfect—nestled right at the foot of Yulong Mountain, where you can witness the breathtaking golden sunrise every morning. The hospitality at Aromatic Hotel is exceptional. Even before our arrival, they contacted us with helpful details about check-in and provided valuable information about Yuhu Village. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful they were throughout our stay. The most amazing surprise was the room upgrade! They gave us a spacious room with stunning mountain views. It was warm and cozy, thanks to the staff who made sure the heater was on before we arrived. The bed and pillows were incredibly fluffy, and we had the most restful sleep. A special highlight of the hotel was the adorable cats and kittens—they added such a charming and homely touch to the experience. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying at Aromatic Hotel. With its amazing location, thoughtful hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, it’s truly an unforgettable place to stay."

"This B&B is probably one of the largest in Baisha Ancient Town. Newly opened in 2025, it's fully equipped and very new, with an electric toilet, humidifier, and more (even a huge ironing machine, so thoughtful). There's also a mahjong room, karaoke, and billiards room. There's also a dedicated elevator to the upper and lower floors. I was given an upgrade upon arrival. The room I stayed in had a more rustic and fresh feel, which women probably love. It had a 270-degree floor-to-ceiling window and a bathtub. You could see the snow-capped mountains from the bed or the tub. The photos were stunning, and the owner is incredibly skilled at taking photos and videos. If you're not good at it, you'll be fine. If you're traveling alone and it's difficult to take photos, ask the owner to take them for you. They're even better than those taken by travel photographers, hahaha. There's also a larger observation deck on the 4th floor with a wide view. In good weather, the photos are fantastic. We have one-on-one butler service, and during afternoon tea, we offer a beautifully presented afternoon tea (coffee and various snacks). You can also sit in the lobby and enjoy tea. I had my butler deliver it to my room. There's also a goodnight dessert in the evening. I also experienced the owner's airport pickup van. It was very high-end, with large screens for movies in every seat. The overall facilities and service are super five-star. This is a must-see when visiting Baisha Ancient Town."
