This was by far the best hotel experience during my trip to Suzhou, highly recommended! It offers excellent value for money, seamlessly blending traditional Suzhou architecture and landscapes – every corner is a picturesque view. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly helpful and even upgraded my room to a suite for free. The room's facilities and decor were impeccable, and even the corridor leading to the room offered beautiful scenery. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was remarkable, and the room's cleanliness was top-notch. I even tried some local noodles at Rui Mian, which were quite tasty. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Suzhou.

The location is fantastic! You can see it right from Exit 4A of Gulou Metro Station. It's only two metro stops to Xinjiekou. As for the facilities, the hotel isn't newly renovated, but the rooms are spacious and still offer standard 5-star amenities. I forgot to take photos, but you can pretty much go by the official website. The high-floor views are excellent. I was short on time, so I didn't get to experience the gym or pool. Cleanliness was great; it was very well-maintained. Now, for the service, this is where I really want to highlight something. A day before arrival, the butler contacted me to confirm my check-in time and added me on WeChat. They provided information about the hotel, nearby dining options, and tourist attractions. On the day of arrival, the room was already prepared, and complimentary fruit was provided. The butler also followed up on my stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. They always responded to my requests promptly. They even helped me print my child's homework and assisted with sending a package. When you're traveling, this kind of service truly makes you feel so welcome and cared for. A special thanks to the butler, Luanne 👍👍👍! I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

Immersive, Zen-inspired experience: “Hidden away in this bustling city is a tranquil sanctuary. The moment I slid open the wooden door, it felt as if I had been transported to an ancient machiya in Kyoto. The room was filled with a subtle scent of tatami, and the natural wood furniture with minimalist lines exuded a 'wabi-sabi' aesthetic throughout. My favorite time was in the evening, sitting at the low table by the window, brewing a pot of tea, and gazing at the karesansui garden outside. All the inner turmoil gradually faded away. There was no excessive disturbance here, just the perfect amount of space and serenity—a truly healing journey that allowed my mind and body to return to nature.” Concise yet evocative short review: “A living space rich in oriental aesthetics, with restrained yet elegant design. Staying at Yangzhou Yingbinguan, I felt the full romance of a spring day in Jiangnan ✨. I took my mom on a trip to Yangzhou and was instantly smitten with Yangzhou Yingbinguan! From check-in to check-out, every detail perfectly hit the mark for aesthetics and comfort. Half of the joy of this trip came from this amazing hotel! 🏡 Living in a Jiangnan Garden, every step is a poem. The entire complex is a massive traditional Chinese garden, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and rockeries. In spring, cherry blossoms and crabapples are in full bloom, and black swans gracefully swim on the lake. Even the air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants and trees. We stayed in Building 11, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome gifts: 'Mi San Dao', 'Xiao Mabing', and 'Niupi Tang' from Qilin Pavilion, along with specialty pastries embossed with 'Yangzhou'. The room facilities were also very new. Shuttle carts were available on call throughout the park, making it super convenient to get from our room to Quyuan or other places. It was so thoughtful for traveling with seniors, as they didn't have to walk too much! 📸 Hanfu Styling, bringing the spring vibe to life. The package included a Hanfu photoshoot, located on the first floor of Building 11. There were dozens of Hanfu styles, and the free options were quite good. If you preferred, paid options were an additional 100 RMB. We also added makeup and styling for 100 RMB per person. The makeup artist was excellent; even with many guests waiting, she was very dedicated. The photographer was also great, skilled at guiding poses. My mom's photos turned out gentle and elegant! We received 5 free lightly retouched photos, and additional retouches were only 20 RMB/photo, which was good value for money. 🍜 Quyuan, a Black Pearl Restaurant. Quyuan Teahouse, a Black Pearl 1-diamond restaurant, is conveniently located right within Yingbinguan, meaning you don't have to leave the hotel to experience it! It does get very busy, so it's a good idea to get a number in advance and then explore nearby. The hotel's own breakfast was also excellent. 🚶‍♀️ Direct Access to Slender West Lake, no queuing is a blessing! On the second day, to visit Slender West Lake, the hotel has an exclusive fast lane! No need to wait in long queues at the scenic area entrance; you can enter directly from the hotel grounds. This was truly stress-free for traveling with seniors (normal admission tickets are still required). The hotel garden seamlessly connects to Slender West Lake. In spring, Slender West Lake is vibrant with green willows and colorful flowers, with beautiful scenery at every turn. 🎭 Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater, an immersive experience of Yangzhou folk customs. During the holidays, the hotel arranged an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater', which truly amazed us! Yangzhou puppet shows, Yangzhou Qingqu opera, and Yangzhou Pinghua storytelling were performed in rotation. The performers were all professional, and acts like puppet calligraphy and pipa serenades were full of Yangzhou charm. This trip to Yangzhou, Yangzhou Yingbinguan truly gave us so many surprises. From the garden landscape and thoughtful service to the delicious food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, all the beauty of Yangzhou was concentrated here. When traveling with your mom, choosing the right hotel is so important! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will definitely stay here again!

This stay at the Shangri-La was great! It's super convenient for both the subway 🚇 and taxis 🚗, and just three subway stops away from the popular Confucius Temple. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the second floor offers a wide variety of delicious options. In the lobby, the café on the first floor is perfect for a relaxed afternoon tea ☕, and they even have a live singer from 7 PM to 10 PM. My room was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly, always greeting me with a smile and proactively asking if I needed any help. It was a really enjoyable trip! Highly recommended 👍

Our stay at Jinling Hotel this time was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a huge shout-out to our wonderful suite butler! Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. When I wanted to order some Jinling glutinous rice cakes from Meiyuan for a late-night snack, she immediately helped coordinate and even kindly reminded me about how cold food tastes – so considerate! She also clearly and meticulously explained the complimentary laundry service, making the rules and steps easy to understand. She was incredibly patient. During our stay, we truly experienced the charm of Jinling's cuisine. We lived comfortably, ate to our heart's content, and everything was incredibly convenient. Choosing the right hotel really makes all the difference! Our 'fairy' butler was gentle, professional, and responsive. She promptly addressed small requests and expertly handled larger matters, providing an immersive service experience from start to finish. Next time I'm in Nanjing, Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is super convenient to get to – just turn right after exiting Sanyang Plaza Station (Subway Line 1, Exit 11A) and it’s a short walk away. If you're staying for a longer period, I recommend the executive suite. It's very spacious and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, essential cooking utensils, and a washer/dryer. At night, you can enjoy panoramic views of Wuxi city.

Suzhou in May is typically plum rain season, and I was bracing myself for damp and discomfort. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel's climate control was exceptional! The lobby and corridors clearly had a professional dehumidification system; the air was dry and refreshing, with no sticky feeling whatsoever. The room even came with its own dehumidifier, which I could adjust to my liking, keeping the bedding and clothes perfectly dry. The electric towel rack in the bathroom was the icing on the cake – my bath towels dried quickly and were warm, which was a delightful touch. The shower room used anti-mold sealant, so there were no black spots in the corners, making this germaphobe extremely happy. While the indoor pool area naturally had higher humidity, it was very well-ventilated, and the anti-slip mats on the floor prevented any slickness. The metal parts of the gym equipment showed no signs of rust, indicating meticulous maintenance. The overall environment was clean and fresh, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the rainy season. If you're also sensitive to humidity, the facilities at this hotel will definitely put your mind at ease. #DolphinScallop

Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded my room, and a dedicated staff member personally guided me there. The room included breakfast, and I highly recommend the douhua (tofu pudding) – it was delicious. The location is also fantastic; you can walk to Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum, as they're all close by. The high-speed rail station and subway are also very convenient, though a taxi might take about half an hour due to traffic. The hotel itself has a beautiful garden-style layout, complete with dining options and Pingtan (Suzhou storytelling and ballad singing, depending on availability). They also offer shuttle services; you can inquire at the hotel for more details.

The views are great, with large floor-to-ceiling windows. The front desk service was pretty good too. Downstairs is the Suning.com Plaza, making shopping, strolling, and dining incredibly convenient. The pedestrian street and food street are also a short walk away. My favorite is the roasted lamb shank at the food street; I make sure to have one every time I visit.
