Taking the cable car at night to see the city lights gradually illuminates the city, from the nearby streetlights to the distant skyscrapers, spreading out like scattered diamonds, even the streets appear as glowing ribbons. A breeze blows from the cable car, and the entire city stretches out below, both quiet and vibrant. A sense of openness washes over me; from this vantage point, everyday worries seem so small, and nothing seems insurmountable.

Like it, beautiful, free entry, get on at the train station, if you have booked, scan your bag, passport to enter and can walk through to the Forbidden Palace. It's great.

Advance reservation is required. Don't miss out or you won't be able to enter, according to the Chinese government's security measures. However, if you really miss out, you can walk around the area from a distance, as shown in the picture.

🏯✨ Summer Palace was one of my favorite places in Beijing and definitely worth visiting.The palace is huge, with beautiful gardens, a peaceful lake, and stunning traditional architecture. Walking around felt so relaxing, like escaping the busy city for a while. 🌿If you have time, I also recommend taking a boat ride to enjoy the views from a different perspective. 📸 Since the palace is very large, be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be doing a lot of walking.I’m also glad we booked a guide—it was a great decision. Learning about the history and stories behind the palace made the visit much more interesting and meaningful.Overall, I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Beijing. It’s a beautiful place you’ll remember for a long time. 💚

I consider the Yiheyuan Summer Palace a must-see. It's a stunning combination of water, nature, and ancient Chinese architecture. It's home to the world's longest open-air art gallery, a true gallery both artistically and architecturally. It's over 700 meters long, with over 400 unique landscapes and scenes from everyday life. The palace and Buddha temple are incomparable. The sheer number of visitors is a bit disappointing, but that speaks to the site's significance. I don't recommend using audio guides. 40 yuan doesn't seem like much, but none of the three worked properly. AI guide Alisa did a great job. I'd like to point out the ease of booking on trip.com.
