"We have booked more nights initially, but our plan was disrupted by the typhoon unfortunately. Kudos to hotel to be willing to accommodate to our booking twice. Room is too dim for my liking, but housekeeping staff is helpful to my request. Convenient location that our favourite 莱莱小笼包 and 双喜甜品 is just a corner away. You just need to head down n the whole shopping street is right in front"

"Located in a prime downtown spot, it's convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs is very lively with restaurants, a food street, and a shopping complex all in one. During weekdays in summer, there were many foreign guests... and quite a few elderly Chinese too. The front desk often had queues for check-in, and there were always people waiting for taxis outside. Business was really good, yet the room offered excellent value for money! Thanks for the free upgrade to a deluxe suite~ It was newly renovated. I was on a business trip and decided to bring my mom along so she could relax and enjoy herself. **Facilities** They offer a table tennis room, a swimming pool, and a gym. No robots for food delivery pick-up though. **Hygiene** Clean. **Environment** The overall environment is good. The old five-star hotel is very well maintained; it doesn't feel old or dated. The room was newly renovated, but the sense of space wasn't huge, and the bathroom was a bit small. **Service** The service attitude was excellent and professional."

Hotel near Lujiazui Area,Shanghai
The crowning glory of what was Shanghai's tallest building, until the arrival of the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), the Grand Hyatt Shanghai (Shanghai Jinmao Junyue Dajiudian) occupies the 56th to 87th floors of the 88-story Jin Mao Tower. From the spectacular panorama of Pudong, guests can enjoy great views of the historic Bund with its Jazz Age architectural masterpieces, and easy access to a number of local Shanghai attractions such as the Yu Gardens and Century Park. The luxury shopping malls of Lujiazui are just minutes away.Guestrooms enjoy stunning views of the city's iconic oriental pearl TV Tower, the Bund and the surrounding space-age skyline, and include generously sized marble bathrooms with deep, indulgent bathtubs.Fine dining in the hotel's 8 restaurants and bars, includes delicious Italian, Japanese, Shanghainese, Cantonese cuisines and a prime grill, as well as a range of buffets. The 24-hour business center is fully equipped with secretarial services, while the hotel's concierge team is the most resourceful in the city. Board meetings, conferences and receptions can be held in the Grand Hyatt's function rooms, which can accommodate 12 to 1,200.Club Oasis offers a gym, therapies, treatments, whirlpool spas, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna and steam rooms, and relaxation lounges. The Sky Pool, with its two-story plate glass windows, offers spectacular 180-degree views over Shanghai.

"I wasn't going to leave a review, but since the guest services team messaged me asking for one, I'll comment on a few things: 1. **View**: As one of Pudong's iconic buildings, the hotel offers excellent views. Being on a high floor, you get great panoramic views of the Bund and other Pudong buildings, especially at night – truly impressive. 2. **Service**: The concierge staff's attitude was generally quite lukewarm with every inquiry. I'm not sure why they seemed so arrogant. From storing luggage initially to borrowing an umbrella, it felt like I owed them something. Perhaps they were overwhelmed by too many guests, but it felt like customers were a constant bother and unwelcome. The front desk staff's service was similar; their attitude felt below the average standard of other high-end hotels we've stayed at. 3. **Cleanliness**: Upon entering the room, the floor wasn't very clean. I'm unsure if it had been properly cleaned. 4. **Hardware**: The overall hardware conditions were good. The elevators were fast, and both hotel and room facilities were comprehensive. 5. **Responsiveness to requests during stay**: * First, we asked for two children's bathrobes. We were told to wait a while for staff to bring them. Twenty minutes passed with no update. When we called again, they said they currently had no spare bathrobes but had forgotten to inform us, leaving us to wait a long time for nothing. * Second, we requested an extra blanket, which was delivered promptly. 6. **Dining**: The buffet on the 56th floor had a relatively rich selection of dishes. However, the service staff (both those at the food stations and those clearing tables) again had generally mediocre attitudes. 7. **Swimming Pool**: The pool isn't large, and the water was a bit cool. There weren't many tourists, so the experience was decent. The changing room's hardware was good, though it felt a bit cold. 8. **Gym**: While not very spacious, the equipment was quite comprehensive. Most of the treadmill screens displayed 'no signal.' 9. **Highlight**: The 86th-floor Jin Mao Club Chinese restaurant was excellent. The food was great; I particularly recommend the Australian crispy veal. What's more, the service staff there had an outstanding attitude. We arrived quite late, around 9 PM, due to closure at 9:15 PM. The waitress quickly offered menu suggestions and waited until we finished our meal, providing very thoughtful service. She even suggested we could turn off the lights to enjoy the night view afterward. It's a shame I don't know her name (the waitress on duty on the evening of August 9th), but I want to commend her; she was the only highlight of our entire stay. 10. **Final thoughts**: It's a bit ironic that the hotel's guest services team added me on WeChat the day before check-in, didn't send any greetings during our stay, but then suddenly messaged me before check-out, offering to draft a positive review for me to post here. So, since you asked for a review, either we don't comment, or we comment truthfully. If the stay experience had truly been great, we would, of course, give a five-star review, but I can't give five stars against my conscience :)"

"We booked this eco-friendly hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located: there's a metro station nearby, as well as two shopping centres. The hotel is large, but there was quiet and peaceful. The view from the window was beautiful, even despite the typhoon that was hitting Shanghai these days (our room was on the 12th floor. We chose the hotel because of its location and good breakfasts. The breakfasts were really very delicious and tasty. There was both Chinese and European food. A wide selection of fruits: watermelons, melons, apricots, mangoes, bananas, dragon fruit. There were many different pastries, several types of yogurts, even matcha yogurt. Also, at the exit from the restaurant, there was a Candy Bar with chewy marmalade: you can put the marmalade in a small bag. The room had everything, including a capsule coffee machine, an ironing board, and an iron, which is very convenient. l'd especially like to mention the eco-friendly slippers, which really stand out from the slippers in other hotels: they're very comfortable. The staff was polite and quickly resolved any issues that arise."

The Youli Hotel (Shanghai People's Square) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Youli Hotel (Shanghai People's Square) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Shanghai. The hotel is only 4km from Shanghai Railway Station and 14km from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. In addition, People's Square Metro Station is just a short walk away. Guests will find The Bund, Shanghai Sihang Warehouse Battle Memorial and Fuxing Park just a short distance from the hotel. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The room isn't huge, but the bathroom is quite spacious and functional. However, it's missing a retractable clothesline, which would be a useful addition. There's a small round table, and the TV wasn't used – it seemed to be disconnected from power. The door lock feels a bit flimsy, lacking an internal deadbolt. Also, the air conditioning is a central system. Even with outdoor temperatures around 25-28 degrees Celsius in the evening, setting it to 23 degrees didn't provide cooling or dehumidification. The view is good with a large window, but the screen is damaged and needs repairing. Another suggestion is to avoid putting the hairdryer in a black velvet bag; those bags shed a lot, and often I find myself having to wipe down and run the hairdryer to clean it when it comes from such packaging in many hotels. The staff were very good and responsive to guest feedback. You have to pick up food deliveries from the lobby, but that's acceptable."

Hotel near People's Square,Shanghai
"1. **Regarding the hardware:** The room itself is nice – clean, with new facilities, and in a great location close to the subway. However, because the location is so prime, space is at a premium, so the room size is limited. The TV is positioned in a way that takes up too much space, leaving almost no room between the bed and the TV, making it easy to bump into. 2. **Regarding the service:** The breakfast was good, and both the front desk and room service were excellent. 3. **Minor issues:** I suggest a thorough check of the entire building's air conditioning system. We were informed that there's central air conditioning and were advised not to use the in-room AC for energy saving and environmental protection. However, if you don't turn on the in-room AC, you'll be sweating profusely within minutes – it was 38 degrees outside and 30 degrees inside the room. But if you do turn on the AC, it gets a bit too cold. It's quite a dilemma. Also, the ventilation fan is a bit noisy. So, if you turn on the AC at night, it's cold; if you turn on the fan for ventilation, it's loud. If you don't turn anything on, it's too hot to sleep. I've stayed in other five-star hotels before where the room remained cool even with the AC off. I recommend addressing these issues."

Hotel near The Bund Area,Shanghai
The Shanghai Bund Puya Hotel is located on Beijing East Road, next to the Suzhou River, and offers breathtaking views of the Shanghai Bund. The hotel is within walking distance to famous Shanghai landmarks such as the Bund, Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, Lujiazui, Xintiandi, People's Square, and Yu Garden; Adjacent to the No. 2 and No. 10 subway lines, it is convenient to enter and exit, enjoying the prosperity. The hotel has a total of 18 floors, with more than 100 luxury rooms and suites. The excellent viewing angle in the room will never miss the wonderful difference between the day and night of the Bund. Adhering to the aesthetic concept of "one city, one painting" of Puyan, the hotel creates a space that combines oriental charm and modern consciousness, perfectly presenting the Haishui culture of the Bund that has been passed down for a hundred years - modern and nostalgic, modern and retro. In this old ten-mile foreign land, today's financial hub, Puyan uses modern brushstrokes to meticulously depict the details of the iterations of time: the wonderful continuation of local traditional shapes, the exquisite carving of details, and the elegance of the East. The harmonious coexistence of the overall tone of light and dark, the minimalist art of extended lines, and the compatibility with modern rhythm. All kinds of ingenious designs create a subtle balance between modern and traditional, just like the cultural context of old Shanghai, which is both inclusive and accommodating.24-hour fitness center to keep you in shape at any time; The 18th-floor sky restaurant offers unobstructed views, allowing you to enjoy the dazzling night view of the Bund; The Chinese-style specialty restaurant interprets the authentic Shanghai local cuisine, and the star chefs skillfully prepare it, bringing a rich taste experience. The Shanghai Bund Puya Hotel offers guests a comfortable and dignified stay, as well as a cultural and artistic atmosphere, allowing guests to feel the pulse of the city and enjoy the unique charm of Shanghai's Bund.

"I had an incredible stay at this hotel, and the overall experience was absolutely wonderful. First of all, the hotel enjoys an unbeatable and prime location in Shanghai. [爱心]The transportation here is extremely convenient, allowing easy access to major scenic spots, shopping areas and city landmarks. It saves plenty of traveling time, which is perfect for tourists exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning room view. From the room window, I could directly overlook the magnificent Huangpu River and the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The daytime scenery is bright and pleasant, while the night view is breathtaking and spectacular. As the city lights turn on at dusk, the entire riverside and tower are illuminated with gorgeous neon lights. The shimmering river water matches the brilliant city skyline, creating a dreamy and luxurious urban night scene. Watching the beautiful night view quietly in the room was extremely relaxing and healing. The panoramic view brings a fantastic visual enjoyment that perfectly represents the charm of Shanghai. Thanks to the superior location and amazing river view, this stay was unforgettable and worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to enjoy the best Shanghai night scenery."
