GGuest UserThe view was fantastic, with a clear sight of Taipei 101 in the distance. The room had a convenient table, perfect for a quick bite or a drink. Since it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne, which really set a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all polite and had excellent service. And the breakfast was really good too! ♡

KkhtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

HHappyKimmyWiFi poor connection for our stay for 5 nights although we complained but no improvement at all. We forced to use our own data until we had to buy new data during our 6 days trip in Taipei. That was our 1st bad experience for hotel stay 🥺.
Good location👍🏻. The hotel building got lifts connected to Taipei MRT station thru level B3 from hotel back lifts.
For those with big luggages, can use the lift between Z2 & Z4 to the hotel building. Then access the main building door to the hotel lobby at 5th floor by using the last 4 lifts. If unsure, can ask the security guard of the hotel building.
Hotel got washing machine at level 3, got vending machine, water dispenser & weighing scale 👍🏻😊.

MMJ FERNThe location is super convenient—just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, which made getting around the city and to the airport so easy. I always felt safe even when coming back a bit late, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling alone.
The place itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the common areas are nice if you want to relax or meet other travelers. What stood out the most was how accommodating and friendly the staff were—they’re always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything you need.
As a female solo traveler, safety and comfort are everything, and Main Inn definitely delivered. It has a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home while still being budget-friendly.
Highly recommend this place if you’re planning a solo trip to Taipei 💛

MMr.PettooMyself and my friends stayed at Papa Whale Hotel for the 2nd time, and we had another great experience overall!
*What we loved:
1. Room: The room was awesome – clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed.
2. Room Service: Almost perfect! The staff were quick and attentive.
3. Breakfast: Fantastic! Myself and friends really enjoyed the variety. Would love to see a few more options next time, like fried chicken, French fries and more.
4. Location: Location is convenient and perfectly fine. It’s a bit of a walk from Ximen MRT Station, but nothing major.
Small note:
On one day the staff forgot to replace our towels, but it was a minor issue and didn’t affect our stay.
Overall: A perfectly nice stay. We’ll definitely consider coming back again. Thanks to the team for making our trip comfortable.

GGuest UserWe arrived around 12 a.m., and it was very easy to access the dormitory. The place was very clean, and the mattress was comfortable to sleep on. We didn't need to check in because the key card had already been prepared for guests arriving at midnight. Overall, it was a smooth and convenient experience. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay this time around! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and my room was spotless, bright, and well-equipped. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they were quick to help whenever I had a question or an issue. The location was super convenient, with plenty of amenities nearby. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. Overall, the quality of my stay exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back if I have the chance, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

JJerry Lee 61Near shilin station, and shilin night market. No has hotel sign board and reception,need find the door number 59. But can check in easy by online. Door excess using password. Still quite convenient. The room wall and window curtains a bit dirty. The toilet clean and nice.
