Probably the best travelodge we’ve stayed at. Warm, clean and friendly. The breakfast deal for kids was brilliant!

Booking was easy. Both single rooms were ready and clean on arrival. Facilities in room good - ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, long life milk and fridge. One room needed some finishing touches checked. The other room had no bedside light and switch for overhead light back at entrance door with no means of switching it off at bedside. Overall, staff very pleasant and breakfast recommended at cafe 5 minutes away with a very versatile menu. Luggage stored after checkout for reclamation later. Overall, we felt the hotel had a lot to offer for us.

Was hard to find as it’s not the same place as it showed on maps, but the rooms were great especially if you are working away as they have coolers and a hob in the rooms, my door handle was broke when I came back at night so couldn’t enter my room which was annoying but they sorted me another room which was huge ! Only thing I wasn’t happy with was that my other rooms door was fixed and left wide open with all my belongings in the next day , I thought that was very irresponsible but other than that was a good experience

The bathroom was noisy during the night, but the living was also pleasant.

The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and polite. His service 10/10. However when i called during the day, I was told i can’t check-in without my Fiancé’s card (as that’s the payment method used) even though he was arriving 6 hours later. I waited for him walking through london and when we arrived he wasn’t even asked for his card.

The room is on the smaller side, and the bed, while soft, is quite small. The bathroom sink is tiny, making it impossible to wash your hands without splashing water everywhere. There's no air conditioning, so it gets a bit stuffy during the day when the sun is out, though it's manageable at night. Cleanliness is okay, but the soundproofing is poor. People often talk loudly in the hallway late at night, and I could clearly hear the toilet flushing in the next room. Breakfast tasted good, but the variety was limited; it was the exact same spread every day for my eight-day stay. I left my power bank on the bed when I checked out. When I went back in the afternoon to pick up my luggage, I asked a staff member to contact housekeeping, and they claimed not to have seen it, even suggesting I look elsewhere. The quality of service from the housekeeping staff really needs improvement! On a positive note, the Italian restaurant across from the hotel was delicious and the service there was very warm and attentive.

2 nights £440 we did expect it to be so much better. On arrival we couldn't get from the car park into the hotel as a traffice cone was in place of the lift meaning we had to walk all the way round and up a single vehicle ramp with 2 suite cases. Then at the desk we tell the receptionist of the problem , her reply was oh really... not sure if she understood english to be honest. Anyway we just want our room as we done a 3 hour drive and was meeting my daughter soon, the receptionist tells me i needed to pay.i told her it was all payed on the 13 may, she looked on the computer and told us again no payment had been made. At this time im getting annoyed thinking ive be in some kind of scam. Some 10 minutes go by and im still being told i must pay and now my wife is saying i have made some mistake nowing full well i havent .so i go on line internet banking and bring up the payment have been made on the 13th. Receptionist then goes off for 5 minutes returning with a manager who went through another 5 minutes of faff and at last we can have our room and yes it had been payed. Go to our room which was nice and clean but the main table lamp light not working, not the end of the world so told the wife to get in the shower before me as we need to get a move on, ”guess what ” she said, there is no hot water ! . You cant be serious, but she was. I tell the maid innthe room few doors down and she called in to check and said i was right and that she would repot it. . Decided to give it half hour in hope it would change as we were pushed for time, so on our way out we went to the receptionist but this time the manager was on the desk, told her of the situation and she said with no hesitation we will have to move you . But everthing was unpacked and we were leaving to meet my daughter so would deal with it later on. This did put a damper on things one we met up at the restaurant and to be honest was thinking of moving to a different hotel.... Anyway the next morning our room had hot water as it should have. The breakfast was good although it should have more that one staff doing everything and more than one coffee machine and cueing took way too long meaning food was getting cold and wouldnt think about getting a refill. We would personally never stay againg or recommend anyone do so neither which is a shame as im a big fan of premier inns..

The male front staff not quite welcoming on my arrival, avoid to attend my entrance thru the main front door till I have to walk round to enter by the car park door. And also I have prepaid the booking weeks ago but he refused to acknowledge the truth about it by repetitive saying that he has just get the payment at the point of m checking in ???

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The room was compact and cute overall, and the hygiene was excellent. Although the breakfast in the morning was simple, you could tell it was made with great care given the limited budget.

I was in London for a mix of work and pleasure, and I went for Haringey Hotel due to its more affordable rate than most accomodation in the area. I commend the hospitality and kindness of the staff which was the highlight of my stay. They were lovely and attentive, which gave it a personable feel that you don’t receive with the big franchise hotels. Check-in and check-out was fast, the Wi-Fi information was in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. I always looked forward to hopping in, which is even better than my own at home. The location is also convenient, only a few steps away from the station and many restaurants and grocery shops to choose from. In terms of improvement, the first noticeable difference was that the photos are misleading. The room did not have the same presentation or cleanliness apparent in the ones listed. It’s similar to seeing food adverts that look jaw dropping, but when you order one in-person you’re disappointed with the reality. There are a number of issues that I acknowledge is out of the hotel’s control. The building and rooms are old, therefore the walls are thin. You can hear mumbling when people speak at regular volume, the doors open and close, and laughing partiers in the middle of the morning. It’s located next to a vehicle repair shop, which can be noisy during the day. As for what could be maintained better is the cleanliness. The mirror had spots and dust that could only have developed over several weeks or months. The kettle was full of water, most likely from the previous check-in, but it had excessive calcium build up. There was no provided instant coffee, only creamer, and the tea were single bags that you’d find in a box which didn’t have their containers. The toilet also has build-up and the shower did not include any shampoo or conditioner, only body wash and hand soap from Aldi. I myself am an Aldi shopper, but as for presentation it does not look the best. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re not looking for a luxury stay and are okay with bare essentials, topped with a more personal touch from the delightful staff. They have potential to raise their quality if they address the issues of cleanliness and presentation, to make it feel more like a home away from home rather than a university dorm room.
