We stayed here for two nights and the staff are lovely. Indah was very reassuring and attentive to our needs. We also hired a taxi driver named Karma through Jangga Villa and he was so lovely, we paid for drop off and pickup from the harbour and we did a day tour of the East and West Side of Nusa Penida with him. The location is good - equally distant from two speedboat stations. We walked. The water in the room is hot, there is shower gel and shampoo. Every day a 20 cm lizard crawled into the bathroom through a crack in the roof. We saw it once in the roof above the sink. But it left traces in the bathroom every day. We swam across the road on the territory of the dive center. In the evening it is closed, a 40-meter walk. The pool is clean and beautiful, the water is warm. The territory is well-groomed. You can hear birds in the evening, bikes in the morning. We did not take breakfast. There are many cafes and local shops nearby. The main disadvantage of the hotel is the huge number of mosquitoes due to the 10 cm high holes between the walls and the roof. There are more than 100 mosquitoes in the room and in the bathroom. The electric Raptor worked around the clock, the mosquitoes did not decrease. They fly inside to the light and air conditioning. If you don't turn on the electric fumigator, it's impossible to sleep at night Perhaps this is a common problem with the houses on Nusa Penida. I would look for accommodation with a canopy over the bed or without gaps under the roof.

The room was about 20 meters from the beach, truly the closest I've ever stayed to the sand. Mount Agung was clearly visible in the morning. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Right across from the beach is a snorkeling spot; if you swim about ten meters to where the deep diving area begins, you'll find coral just by looking down. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for two nights and dedicating one day to multiple snorkeling sessions. Bring your own snorkeling gear. The sea is very calm in the morning, and the further out you go, the more beautiful the coral and fish become. For safety, definitely wear a floatie on your arm or waist, as the hotel doesn't provide lifebuoys. Snorkeling is, in my opinion, the most worthwhile activity at this hotel, especially for families with children. Breakfast is à la carte. A special thanks to the cool tattooed head chef who was very friendly and even provided breakfast for our child. To the left of the room, about a few hundred meters down, there are a few restaurants with great ambiance, but you have to walk around to the main road. A taxi from the pier to the hotel is about 4 kilometers. Drivers at the pier will try to overcharge; 100k (about 50 RMB) should be enough. If you find a good driver, remember to save their contact info for your return trip, otherwise, getting back can be troublesome. Also, there's a mandatory island fee. I really don't recommend this island for families with young children; it's too tiring, and kids get hot and fussy at attractions, so you won't get to see much. I also advise against coming during the rainy season. By the way, I'd like to recommend a super enthusiastic private car driver's WeChat. When leaving the island, the pier's taxi services are monopolized by unofficial drivers, and all Grab drivers are blocked from entering. You'll have to walk to the main road to catch a taxi. That's about it; I hope this helps my fellow countrymen.

Comfortable quiet gestures. Just 4 bungalow houses. Clean, comfortable, everything is, even a free pair of bottles of water, teapot, coffee, tea. Big sauna, with a curtain(!) shampoo, gel and phenomenon. A large, comfortable veranda with chairs and table, where it is nice to sit in the evening with a bottle of Bintang and in the morning to have breakfast. I recommend.

I messed up my booking. I was supposed to have booked for the period during Nyepi. The hotel allowed me to change my booking dates so that I could stay there during silent day. It was a great place to spend Nyepi, quiet and peaceful and the Ogoh Ogoh parade ended right outside the hotel - amazing! The Pool Villa was beautiful and large with a lovely ensuite bathroom and wardrobe area. The outdoor pool was always lovely and cool, not too warm or cold. The villas are surrounded by lush palm trees and other jungle like trees giving a true feeling of the tropics. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and nothing was a problem. The grounds of the resort are lovely when lit up at night, it was quite breath-taking. The restaurant has a view of the ocean and Mt Agung on a clear day looks amazing. Breakfast was always a small smorgasbord of delights I could never get through - amazing value! The restaurant menu is lovely with a great variety of options and they deliver room service for that extra touch of private dining.

I would like to recommend the excellent team at Ped Cottage Hotel to everyone. The staff is very attentive to guests and responsive. They react very quickly to problems and solve them. The room is clean, cleaned every day. Breakfast is very small, but delicious! At the hotel you can book excursions around the island, snorkeling with manta rays - which is cheaper than booking elsewhere. I advise you to choose a deluxe room on the 2nd floor, as it has its own space. On the 1st floor - staff walk past, which is not entirely convenient. The hotel itself is located far from any beaches, so it is more suitable for “spending the night in comfort.” If you want to live next to a good beach, this is not your option. From the pier it is a 10 minute drive. Approximately 150,000 RP by taxi.

I really liked the hotel! It's a bit removed from the main roads, but that means it's quiet and peaceful at night. All you hear are the interesting sounds of unknown creatures in the outdoor shower. The room was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The hotel has a small property with a clean, warm pool. What was disappointing was the complete lack of Wi-Fi (the staff kept saying it would be available soon, but it never was) and no breakfast, not even for an extra charge. Overall, if you ride a scooter, the location is quite convenient for exploring the island – just be careful on the mountain roads!

To highlight the treatment of staff, especially the gentleman who was there almost all day, always careful to any request and very good treatment. Breakfast is good but 3 of 4 days my bacon toasts, had no bacon ... The common areas are clean and ordered, but the road of concrete walled and the stone floor is the worst in comfort I have seen in a hotel. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is large and spacious but the shower has very little water pressure. In general, for the price you have is not a bad place for a few nights.

We booked this place because we were staying an extra night on the island. The location wasn't far from the pier, about a 10-15 minute drive, but it's on a hill with two steep slopes, making it a bit difficult to get in and out. The place was quite new overall, the bathroom was very nice, and the host was very friendly. The banana pancakes for breakfast were delicious.

The listing is a new listing. The second floor has not been fully built. The TV in the house has not been installed yet. However, we do not watch TV. There are fried rice and fried noodles in the morning. I prefer to eat fried rice. Penida itself is a relatively simple place with facilities, so the requirements cannot be too high. In short, I have been very happy to live here for a few days, the environment is quite quiet.
