Hotels near Wins Dottonbori, Osaka

I've stayed at various Koko hotels many times, and they generally offer good value for money. Hotels around Namba Station in a similar price range are either too old or too far from the subway. This Sennichimae location is excellent! Coming from Kobe on the Hanshin Electric Railway, exit at the west exit. You'll come up into the 'Walk' underground mall. Walk along the right side of the underground mall and look for exit B30 (pictured in photo five). Next to it is a small cafe with a bear painted on the wall 🐻. After climbing the stairs, you'll see a 7-Eleven, and right next door is the hotel. (Be aware that several exits in this area are all stairs, I didn't see any with elevators, so if you have large luggage, it might be a bit strenuous). The room size is relatively small. You can open one 26-inch suitcase, but two would probably be difficult! The hotel is quite new, and toiletries can be picked up from the lobby on the first floor. The hairdryer is still not very good, unfortunately. Check-in was very convenient with a Chinese-speaking staff member. There are plenty of dining options in the shopping street downstairs, as well as general stores and cosmetics shops. Plus, you can walk directly to Namba Station underground, which is really convenient.

It's been over 10 years since I last visited Osaka, so I specifically booked this hotel nearby. I chose it based on the price, ratings, and reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint – it exceeded my expectations! It offers incredible value for money. It's only a 5 to 8-minute walk from the busiest part of Shinsaibashi. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. The room facilities were better than I expected, and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the top floor, so the view was incredibly open and bright. If I could stay on the top floor again next time, that would be absolutely wonderful.

The location in the heart of Osaka is fantastic. You can walk to Dotonbori and Kuromon Market within 3 minutes. The staff are friendly. After check-out, they held our luggage, which was great for a quick Don Quijote shopping trip or a meal before heading to the airport. We had a wonderful stay and left feeling refreshed.

The location is fine (there are dozens of hotels around it you can choose from) – we love Namba and Nipponbashi so it was convenient for us. No complaints regarding service. The price was also good. But we booked a twin room that faced the street and there was a lot of noise coming from the windows. We could hear all the chirping sounds from the street lights in the crosswalks nearby, besides the cars. I know a lot of guests haven't experienced this, so it's either that they need new windows on that side of the building (these were old aluminum ones) or we were just unlucky with the one room that's noisy. The lobby/lounge is barely existent – since they don't have a café/restaurant anymore, I wish they could make it more pleasant to wait around for check-in after a long trip.

The hotel is super convenient located near kintetsu train and subway. The best is 711 and family malt is store away so there is no worry about snack and beer :) Hotel provide complimentary amenities, just take and use if need it…. No waste! That’s very encouraging! Last but not least is provide loan umbrella during rainy day! I can’t find any better service than this hotel provide!

The front desk staff was so friendly, turns out she was from Dalian, Northeast China! Her service was excellent, and she even recommended a fantastic skewers restaurant. Hearing her accent instantly made us feel at home. The location is pretty convenient, with Life Supermarket and Kizuna Market nearby. They allowed us, two adults and two children, to stay in a double room (which other hotels in Japan usually don't permit). There aren't many extra amenities like coffee or water, but it was perfect for us as we just needed a clean place with a good location to sleep for the night, since we were out exploring all day anyway. The only downside is the 10 AM check-out, but it would be fine if you're booking for consecutive nights so you don't have to worry about changing rooms.

If you’re the type of traveler who’s always looking to explore, this might be your best place to stay. The good thing about OneFive hotel is that it’s near the Glico sign, Dotonbori street foods, and shopping areas. Also, outside the hotel, there are lots of bars, so I’d recommend wearing a face mask when you go out at night because there are many smokers in the area. It’s also really crowded at night due to the shopping areas like Mega Don Quijote

Location is perfect. Breakfast was perfect. Lounge would be better with more food varieties but they had a lot of drinks options including sake, champagne, wine and beer on top of the usuals which was great. One thing i didnt like is that their rooms are super tiny. We got a triple room and it was so tight. Next maybe two doubles is required for more space. Another disappointment is that they don't provide lotion which i think is a basic amenity. And that every certain hours of the night 10-ish -2am (everyday) you can hear super noisy motorcycles revving in the main street randomly. (I guess that's not directly their fault buy maybe they could opt for a more soundproof window or something.)

Hotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout. Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space. It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed. When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel. Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!

This is best i term of location with few minutes walk to mall, eateries, train station to Kobe,Kyoto,Namkai airport train,etc. Hotel breakfast simple but good healthy and many seat. Laundry service on 7th floor but only 600 for wash and dry machine. Microwave at lounge is available to heat up Bento from next door, Lawson store. Counter can provide the chopstick and spoon if needed. There are luggage lock to hold after check out. Staff can speak good English and helpful. Room cleaning great. Overall, strongly recommended.
