Amazing
在台灣打枱的女孩The hotel staff is the friendliest I have encountered in visiting hotels in many countries. Everyone is very kind, even the security brother is very nice. When I come back at night and the lights are dim, he will take the initiative to lead the way into the hotel lobby. He also worked hard and often helped us get takeout (>^ω^<) The check-in process was very relaxing, and there were welcome drinks upon check-in. My friend also said that the hotel breakfast tasted very good and the overall environment was very clean, making it feel more like being integrated into nature. The only complaint is that it is very close to the airport and there are occasional airplane noises at night. The convenience store is about 3,400 meters from the hotel. It's not far, but you should be careful at night as the street lights are dim.

AAnonymous UserA very exotic experience. The suite and public areas were well integrated. The architecture was elegant, with plenty of wood throughout the interior. The bathroom reminded me of a summer on the Champs-Élysées. The service was consistently excellent, especially from the butlers, Tucky and May. The 7 Series that picked me up was in very good condition. While not as readily available as Aman after landing, it still provided great convenience. The cooking class and spa are also worth experiencing. The only downside was that our large European family with children was extremely noisy, and the hotel didn't intervene, resulting in noise pollution in both the rooms and public areas.

HHesna快樂旅行趣On my recent trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, I chose to stay at the Palette Hotel in the Nimman area. Nimman has always been one of Chiang Mai's most popular districts, combining hipster cafes, unique restaurants, nightlife, and shopping, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. **Convenient Location** The Palette Hotel is located near Nimmanhaemin Road, within walking distance of many popular attractions and restaurants. The surrounding area is packed with cafes, massage shops, and local eateries, making it incredibly convenient whether you want to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea or go shopping at night. Getting to MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center and One Nimman from the hotel is also very easy, making it a favorite accommodation area for many travelers. **Comfortable and Tidy Rooms** During check-in, the front desk staff were friendly and communication was smooth. While the room wasn't exceptionally large, the layout was well-planned and the amenities were complete. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring good sleep quality; the air conditioning worked stably, which is especially important given Chiang Mai's hot weather. The room was well-maintained and clean, the bathroom was spotless, and essential toiletries were provided. **Excellent Amenities and Services** There are convenience stores, pharmacies, and many restaurants near the hotel, making daily life very convenient. In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast at a nearby cafe, stroll around Nimman for photos in the afternoon, and relax at a night market or bar in the evening, all without needing to travel long distances. For first-time independent travelers to Chiang Mai, it's a very friendly accommodation choice. **Service Experience** During my stay, the staff were enthusiastic and willing to assist with any questions I had. Whether it was arranging a taxi, asking for sightseeing information, or getting recommendations for nearby food, I received excellent advice. This friendly human touch definitely enhanced the overall stay experience. **Overall Impression** The Palette Hotel's biggest advantages are its excellent location, reasonable price, and comfortable and convenient accommodation. For travelers who want to deeply experience the Nimman lifestyle and enjoy Chiang Mai's slow pace, it's a worthwhile accommodation option to consider. If I visit Chiang Mai again, I would still consider staying at the Palette Hotel, as it not only provides a comfortable place to rest but also makes travel, dining, and leisure activities easy and convenient, adding many wonderful memories to this Chiang Mai trip.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 3 nights. The place is good, and the service is prompt. However, the main issue we faced was with unexpected charges being billed without proper discussion. On the first evening, when we returned to the room, we received a letter charging us 600 THB stating that the towels were dirty and belonged to the hotel property. The next day, after coming back from outside, we were handed another letter charging 3000 THB for allegedly breaking the bathroom door glass. There was already a minor crack visible earlier, but the staff insisted that their housekeeping team had inspected it and held us responsible. As tourists, situations like this become very stressful and uncomfortable, especially when it is difficult to argue or prove otherwise in a foreign place. Because of this experience, it becomes difficult to confidently recommend the property to others despite the good location and service.

AAnonymous UserThe facilities are quite new, and there's a small pool on the first floor. Many Chinese tourists stay here. Across the street, you'll find a convenience store, a night market, and a laundry shop. You can rent a car right across the road, which is super convenient. There's also a massage place just a few steps away. It's about 5 kilometers from the Old City and 2 kilometers from Nimman Road. A taxi from the airport costs around 50 baht, and it's right next to the main entrance of Chiang Mai University. Overall, it's pretty good.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to Nimman One. The room was spacious with good amenities, and the breakfast was nice. Parking was convenient, and the free snacks and drinks in the lobby were a great touch. The only downside was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom drain, which I hope they can improve.

GGuest UserThe natural environment is so good here that there were bugs and geckos right on the room's balcony. Like, a whole row of them 😭😭 I was genuinely terrified. I was so scared at the time that I didn't take any pictures. Later, I passed by the common area and saw another one perched there. The key thing is that the geckos' color is very similar to the hotel's decor. I'm so lucky I didn't get a chance to sit on the balcony sofa, otherwise, if I had touched one, I really would have had insomnia for days 😢. The staff came to deal with it, but they just sprayed something quickly. The gecko was back within 2 minutes. I was genuinely worried I'd be sleeping with geckos in the middle of the night~ After checking into the room and staying for about two hours, I immediately booked another hotel in the city center. Personally, I'm really afraid of small animals. Mainly, I don't know if they carry germs. I ended up coming back early the next morning to pack my luggage. 😢😢😢😣😣😣

GGuest UserI love creating reviews and social content — especially about ryokan-style stays and onsen experiences. There may be more ryokans in Thailand now, but when a friend recommended Chez Nij Ryokan Onsen, I was genuinely impressed from the moment I arrived. The blend of Thai, Japanese, and French influences is beautifully unique. Even more special is the history — this was once the residence of the former Governor of Chiang Mai. The house is filled with antiques, charm, and character. Stepping inside feels warm, welcoming, and truly homely. The owner, a doctor and grandson of the former governor, personally cares for guests and shared meaningful stories about the residence — an honor I won’t forget. Location-wise, it’s peaceful yet convenient. Nimmanhaemin Road is only 8 minutes away, perfect for dining and shopping. Even returning around 1 AM, the owner and night manager were still there to welcome me. The alley is well lit, quiet, and safe, with another hotel and a tennis court next door. A 7-Eleven is just a 5-minute walk away on the main road. I stayed in the Studio Room with onsen access — incredibly private and peaceful. The tatami design is beautiful, the bed unbelievably soft, and the air quality excellent (my usual dust allergies improved after just one night). The complimentary minibar was a lovely bonus. Direct onsen access from the room is available in the morning only. During female and male sessions, the private door is securely locked and entry is through the changing room — a very safe and thoughtful system. The open-air onsen is stunning — inspired by the winter sea of Hokkaido and said to be one of the largest in Chiang Mai. Cleanliness and hygiene standards are outstanding. The mineral water left my skin noticeably smoother and deeply hydrated, unlike other onsens I’ve tried. The schedule is very well organized, with separate time slots and thorough cleaning between sessions. I checked in at 3 PM and immediately enjoyed the women’s session. After 5:30 PM, guests are asked to leave for routine cleaning and to dry off properly to prevent slipping — a clear reflection of their commitment to safety and hygiene. Soaking at 7:30 AM in the cool morning air truly felt like having a private hot spring. Breakfast is served as a generous full set — so abundant I couldn’t finish it all — yet the staff still offered more. Everything was delicious, and the chef personally came to serve and chat, adding such a thoughtful touch. In the evening, a complimentary mini tea set (9–10 PM) made the stay even more charming. I wrote this from the heart to reflect the genuine care I received. It was absolutely worth it, and I’m so glad I followed my friend’s recommendation. I’ll definitely return to Chez Nij whenever I’m back in Chiang Mai.

PPawee Bank NontamongkoltornStaff: Mostly friendly and professional, except few. I asked the female staff for early check-in and left my luggage at the designated place. Then, she said, “No, you have to wait until 14:00”. Immediately after her response, the male staff approached me and processed it. He also allowed me to change room without any charge and to store my luggage in the room, instead of the designated area. Room: For those who like 80s-90s vibe, this is for you, and me too. The AC is loud and cleaned. The ceiling, on the other hand, has strains from water. The curtain has a strain that looks like either blood or coffee. The wall looks unpolished, creating a running down impression of the hotel. The socket, TV, lift, and fridge are functional, fortunately. 2 bottles of water are set by the hotel standard. Please clean up those strains and walls. Bathroom: It contains dusts on the ventilation fan’s cover. There is mold strain on the wall that could be mistaken as black mold initially. Please clean up it as it could evolve to such in the future. Location: Not far away from the pubs, so music can get loud inside the room as it has poor soundproof. Unless you don’t mind the sound, or want to stay away from the city centre, go for it.
