I really like this chain. Unless you’re looking to stay very close to the Bund/Nanjing, I’d recommend you stay in the other location 5 min west of here. This one was located in a dark residential alley - while safe, was difficult to get to relatively and nothing within 5 min walking distance for food and nightlife. The other location has so many restaurants and convenience stores right beside it and cost is similar.
Nice amenities though their fridge downstairs was not well stocked.

The room didn't quite live up to a 'business queen room' description; the space around the bed head was so narrow that only one person could pass sideways. Still, for a solo traveler, it was perfectly adequate and felt quite secure. The rooms on this floor were quite distinctive. My friend stayed in a duplex room, though they noted the ceiling was a bit low. It was very clean, although the soundproofing was a bit thin. If you don't mind that, it's a decent choice. The front desk staff were excellent, and they even extended our check-out time for us. The subway station is just a two-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Plus, there are plenty of dining options right around the corner, including Da Hu Chun. Overall, it's a good pick.

The scenery is stunning, with the property nestled perfectly between mountains and water, creating an excellent environment. Both dining and accommodation are incredibly convenient. It's well worth a visit, or even an extended stay. The air is wonderfully fresh after the rain, and the lotus pond views are simply beautiful. You could easily stay here for a good while.

The front desk manager on the 25th, when I checked out, was absolutely wonderful! She perfectly embodied the Rujia brand. I had a late check-out, and after I'd finished the process, it started pouring rain. I really didn't want the bother of going back upstairs, but she very warmly suggested I return to my room to rest for a while. Her kindness and helpfulness were truly exceptional. However, the female receptionist on the 24th, during my check-in, was very unprofessional. When I asked a question, she gave me a very impatient look. I was originally going to leave a negative review, but your front desk manager on the 25th completely turned things around.

A Hidden Gem for Comfort and Convenience
I had a wonderful stay at Home Inn Selected and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and great value. The room was thoughtfully designed—modern, tidy, and equipped with all the essentials, including a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel truly welcome.
The location was ideal—close to public transport, dining spots, and convenience stores, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Despite being in a bustling location, the hotel maintained a calm and peaceful atmosphere perfect for resting after a long day.
If you’re looking for a reliable and well-kept hotel at a reasonable price, Home Inn Selected is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Needed a hotel in an area I had never been to before and this one did the job! Out of the way of the main attractions, but certainly some nice things around regardless. Good beds and pillows, nice staff, and a relatively simple check in process.

The location is good in all aspects, the facilities and equipment are complete, the front desk service attitude is particularly good, and they will proactively provide laundry services. The stay experience is very good and I will recommend everyone to stay.
Facilities: quite complete, the air conditioner is a bit loud, and the bathroom is a bit small, there is no place to put things
Hygiene: quite clean
Environment: Except for mosquitoes, everything else is okay
Service: The service is very good and free parking spaces are provided.

Can hear doors closing throughout the night but at least you won't be able to hear wants going on in the other rooms. Bed and bathroom is clean and spacious impressive for the price.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe room is small but basically OK. It is a good choice for those who stay for one or two nights on a business trip. The price is moderate and the location is OK. It is close to Jiuting subway station, a few minutes' drive away and 4 bus stops away.
GGuest UserThe newly renovated room was comfortable, clean, and bright, and fully equipped with all amenities. They even offer laundry service. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of options. It's definitely my top choice for business trips.
GGuest UserExcellent location, very close to the city center and convenient for shopping, offering great value for money. The front desk staff were patient and efficient in resolving any issues. Being right next to a subway station exit makes getting around incredibly easy; The Bund is just a 30-minute subway ride away, and Disneyland is about an hour.
AAnonymous UserThe room was cramped, but fortunately there were no windows, so there was no noise from the roadside. In addition to the poor air quality, you can only turn on the air conditioner the whole time, which will be relatively dry. The air is stuffy. It's quite quiet. The most convenient thing about it is that it is close to the subway entrance, so it is easy to travel around. There are no large shopping districts around, so it is fine for pure living. There are many pricing channels, including store price, platform price, online price, and internal membership price. Offers vary.

Very Good
MMengmeng091Very satisfied, awesome stay experience
This hotel is in a great location, 3 minutes walk to the subway station, and the surrounding dining and shopping are very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was very good, and the night was particularly fragrant. The front desk lady was warm and welcoming, and the check-in and check-out were very fast. The breakfast is rich in variety, both Chinese and Western, and the taste is good. The price is super high, I will choose here next time!
GGuest UserThe hotel facilities were quite clean. The overall cleanliness was very good, and the service was decent. The location is a bit out of the way; there aren't any commercial areas nearby, just a local wet market. However, for my business trip to Shanghai, it was still quite convenient as it's not far from the metro station.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was excellent; they were incredibly helpful in resolving many issues. The room by the window had great ventilation and was quiet. It's also very close to the subway, offering excellent value for money. I've stayed here multiple times and am very satisfied!
AAnanziFirst, the cons: After checking in, when I pulled back the covers, I noticed a small stain on the bed. It looked like an old, persistent mark, which was a bit off-putting. 🤣🤣🤣
Now, for the pros: The location is excellent, with a dedicated pick-up/drop-off point. The hotel's environment is quite good; the lobby and corridors were well-maintained and clean. Delivery of tissues and toiletries was also very prompt. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting me with sending/receiving express packages, which I greatly appreciated.

Outstanding
XXiaomingdeXCThe room with a large bed and a window on the first floor is great. There is a large yard outside. You can enter the yard by opening the door. The yard is independent. The service staff will greet you politely and pour water on their own initiative. I have extended my stay several times.
1118103****This Home Inn is located in Shanghai. The rooms are spotless, the windows are bright and clean, there is a laundry room, a casual drink area, a variety of breakfasts with good taste, a spacious parking area, and warm and thoughtful service. It is awesome.
