The host is easy to contact via WeChat. The room also offers views of the bridge and the Raffles buildings, though from the back side.
The room is well-equipped with all the basic amenities, including indoor slippers. There are plenty of power outlets."

"As a hotel enthusiast, I have to recommend this hidden gem I discovered! Aspera Sky Garden Hotel has completely redefined my perception of a city hotel. Let's start with the room: I initially booked a Cloud Mist Elegant King Room, which was already great, but I decided to upgrade to the Cloud Horizon Hot Spring King Room for an even more expansive view. The hot spring bath in the room was a highlight; soaking in it while enjoying the night view truly melted all my fatigue away. The real showstopper, however, was the afternoon tea! It felt absolutely dreamlike to be enjoying desserts in the clouds. The location is also fantastic, right downstairs from Jiefangbei. The service was attentive, the bedding was comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep, and even the toiletries were from a high-end brand. This kind of experience is truly worth investing in!"

CChenryThe hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to walk to all the major attractions. Plus, the elevator goes directly to the hotel floors, which is a great convenience. The front desk staff's service truly deserves a special mention. When I told them I had lost something on the high-speed train, they proactively assisted me, patiently followed up, and did their best to help me find it. Their service felt genuinely thoughtful.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

__WeChat49422****I traveled to Chongqing alone and did some research. The general consensus was that while Jiefangbei offers convenient transportation, the guesthouses there aren't great. However, given the transport advantage, I still decided to stay in Jiefangbei, and it turned out to be the right gamble. This place, called Jiting, is designed much like a budget hotel chain such as Ji Hotel or Hanting, with a clean and minimalist style. A thoughtful detail is the water dispensers in both the hallway and lobby, offering hot and cold water ā super convenient, as most hotels usually require you to bother the front desk for hot water. Moreover, the location is fantastic; it's right outside the subway exit and very close to Hongyadong. I'd highly recommend it to friends visiting Chongqing. The front desk service was also great; I went to Wulong for a day and left my luggage at the front desk, then picked it up upon my return to continue my stay, which was incredibly convenient.

MM860215****The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely river view from the window. The front desk lady had a sweet smile and provided polite and patient service. For afternoon tea, you could choose your drink, but everything else was fixed. They served two slices of Swiss roll, which fortunately happens to be my favorite!

GGuest UserI was only staying in a nice hotel for 1 night so I wanted to make it a good one. I did 4 hours research before deciding on this hotel. My criteria was that it had to have the best views of the city and of the river bank lights. It also had to have a bath tub and feel slightly extraordinary. Happy to report my research did not disappoint. I noticed that a lot of the most expensive instagrammable hotels were all in the same area and even the same building. This one is also on the 56th floor so you are guaranteed to be getting a great view depending on which side of the building the room you pick is. I chose one looking at the WFC building and the river bank and it was great. The hotel is all on one floor though and you can walk around and getting views from all side if you want. The room was super nice and definitely special. Not quite as novelty boutique as some of the other more expensive ones, but with the same view and great room still. As this is a small hotel there is no breakfast, but thats ok. The staff are also really nice and welcoming/helpful and give you a little goodie bag of treats when you leave. For price to what you get ratio, it hits all the marks.

11354089****First off, the location is genuinely great. It's super convenient for transport. If you want a taxi, you can just hop in one from the hotel's ground floor. On foot, it's only a two or three-minute walk to the landmark Jiefangbei, and the metro stations for lines 1 and 2 are just 7-8 minutes away ā very handy. Hongyadong is less than a 15-minute stroll; you can just take your time walking there. Getting around is easy, the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly.

1118578****A hidden gem for a short trip! Tucked away in a bustling area, yet incredibly quiet. The double-glazed windows provide excellent soundproofing, blocking out all outside noise. The room design is simple yet sophisticated, and impeccably clean. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too firm, and the pillows were so comfortable ā I usually bring my own, but these really impressed me. The rainfall shower in the bathroom had amazing water pressure, the towels were thick and absorbent, and even the hairdryer was powerful. The hotel also offers free laundry and a minibar. Coming back in the evening to warm, sweet desserts was just a cherry on top! The whole experience was flawless, definitely a five-star rating without hesitation!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is pretty good, very close to Hongyadong, and you can even see it from the window. However, navigating Chongqing's hilly streets is truly challenging, especially when we encountered traffic control during the National Day holiday. Dragging our suitcases through a surging crowd for 10 minutes was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel rooms are quite old-fashioned, and consequently, the facilities are also dated. The windows facing the street surprisingly weren't double-glazed, so even at midnight, we could still hear the bustling crowds talking and car horns blaring downstairs, which definitely impacted our stay.
On the positive side, since we stayed during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel gave us a complimentary souvenir, which was a thoughtful touch.

The hotel boasts convenient transportation, perfectly avoiding the traffic restrictions of the bustling downtown area. The room itself is very spacious, and the washer/dryer combo along with the kitchen facilities are excellent. The breakfast is quite varied. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didnāt order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesarās salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But itās still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they donāt speak English and we donāt speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you canāt use WeChat.
