GGuest UserTraveling with a family of five, the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded our room to a larger family suite for free. The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Yuyuan Garden metro station and 7 minutes from Dashijie station. The staff's service attitude was excellent; they were quick to assist with any requests. You can even see Shanghai's iconic landmarks from the outdoor balcony. This will definitely be our first choice for our next trip to Shanghai!

AAnonymous UserStill my favorite spot along the Suzhou Creek, still with that stunning Bund view through Zhapu Bridge, and still my beloved Bellagio. I’ve stayed here multiple times since 2022.
1. I contacted guest services before arrival with a few requests, and they were all noted and accommodated during check-in.
2. The room facilities are very well-maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable.
3. Breakfast has returned to its previous high standards; the Eggs Benedict were definitely the highlight. The lady at the noodle station hasn't changed since 2022; she's still as energetic as ever.
4. The concierge service was excellent.
5. My only regret was that Shiseido had booked all the SPA rooms for an event, so my SPA treatment had to be done in a suite. The massage bed in the suite creaked with every movement, which was a bit annoying.

DDalijunchangsunwujiExtremely satisfied! The view goes without saying – a first-class river view. You can directly access the riverside for a run or drive right from the second floor. We extended our stay for another two days, and that was all thanks to the service. Especially one of the cleaning ladies on our floor; my child and family all agreed her cleaning was exceptionally good and very meticulous. When Angel found out we liked almond cookies, she even specially delivered some to our room. Cynthia also kept in touch via WeChat to follow up on my needs. A definite 5-star rating!

GGuest UserHotel is in a superb location right beside Raffles City shopping mall and a metro station. Plenty of eateries around. A15mins walk to Nanjing pedestrian street and along the way u will pass by Tianjin Road and vicinity where all the popular eateries are. Long queues at most of these eateries but the queue moves fast so dont be afraid to queue.
Hotel gives a nostalgic vibes, rooms are clean but the furnishings are dated.
Hotel staff are excellent in their service. We had no time for the free high tea every afternoon and they offered to pack for us on the day of our check out when we went back to retrieve our luggage after sightseeing. They also helped us with transport to the next hotel at a cheaper rate than Didi. Free 1 time mini bar items as well.

Why wasn't this communicated to me when I placed the order? I told them I was busy, and they still called three times. Are your staff seriously lacking common sense? GGuest UserThe best location ever! 🤩🤩🤩 in a historical building 😍😍😍 that is amazing!!!!! and now I would like to share some information why it’s not perfect: Not enough usb chargers for two phones and a power bank….an air conditioning (heater) was pretty loud🥺 and the hotel stuff wanted to enter my room in the morning (well, they were insisting to enter) when I wanted to sleep so much after several nights with no sleep at all… and I still don’t understand why, because they talk in Chinese……. Anyways, it’s a good hotel to stay and explore beautiful Shanghai 👌

GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, and the bed was huge. The living area and bedroom were separated by a step, and it had a balcony with views of the hotel pool. The dinner buffet was excellent value for money, featuring a complimentary Australian lobster served to each table and unlimited salmon. The service attitude was superb. The hotel was quite busy during the Chinese New Year period.

AAienwachahetaiThis was my first stay, and I'd booked an Executive City View room but was upgraded to a Pearl View, plus a complimentary minibar – very generous indeed.
The front desk and lounge staff were incredibly welcoming, offering attentive and efficient service.
The overall decor is still stunning; Regent really nails the aesthetics. The lobby and guestroom hallways are opulent yet elegant, and the red and green color scheme in the rooms is something only Regent could make work.
The Pearl View from the lounge is beautiful, but aside from that, it gets crowded, and the food selection is limited, so it's just okay overall.
I didn't encounter any major hygiene issues, but it's clear that things are showing a bit of wear and tear.
Overall, it was quite good, though a bit pricey during the holiday. The value for money in every aspect was excellent.

Ssisirain1During the Chinese New Year holiday, the hotel was quite busy, and rooms were scarce. However, Roman Zhang, the manager at the front desk, kindly upgraded my room for free, which saved me a lot of waiting time. The room itself was quite spacious. The hotel also has a gym, a swimming pool, and a lobby bar. Plus, food deliveries can be brought directly to your room by a robot. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.
