GGuest UserStaying at the Bellagio Shanghai on the Bund, right in the heart of the city, far exceeded my expectations. It's definitely one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had recently.
**Environment and Room:** The hotel is located by the Suzhou Creek, right next to the Waibaidu Bridge, making it incredibly convenient to get to both the Bund and Nanjing Road. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a modern and luxurious design, impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a perfectly quiet night's sleep even in the bustling city center.
**Dining Experience:** Breakfast was semi-buffet style, offering both a rich variety of choices and exquisite presentation. The buffet items were fresh, and the à la carte dishes were truly a highlight. Whether it was the Chinese dim sum or the Western omelets, everything was prepared with great care, and the taste was impressive.
**Service Quality:** From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently excellent. Ellie and Moon were professional yet friendly, always responsive to our needs, making us feel comfortable and at ease.
Overall, this is a hotel that perfectly combines location, facilities, dining, and service. It's highly recommended for guests who value quality in their travels.

The staff was consistently professional and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and any requests I made were handled promptly. While not everyone spoke fluent English, they were eager to assist and always did so with a positive attitude.
Dining:
Breakfast offered a good mix of local and Western dishes. I found the variety and quality to be above average for a business hotel. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area remained clean and well-stocked throughout service.
Facilities:
The gym and public areas were clean and modern. I didn’t get a chance to use the meeting rooms, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel also had a calm, business-friendly atmosphere that made it ideal for both work and rest.
Location:
Situated in Fengxian, it’s a bit outside central Shanghai, but perfect if you have business in the area. It’s relatively easy to access via Didi or taxi. The nearby surroundings are quiet and safe, with a few local restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance.
Overall:
A solid choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and consistency in Fengxian. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a dependable Marriott experience outside the city center.

SSteven Austin WongWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious, well-designed, and spotlessly clean, which made our stay extremely comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of space for luggage and relaxation.
The location is excellent, with easy access to restaurants, shopping areas, and public transportation. It made getting around very convenient and saved us a lot of time.

GGuest UserMy wife and I started our 3 week honeymoon in China with a 4 night stay at Banyan Tree in Shanghai. Both the hotel and the service we received was so exceptional that we actually changed our plans to make an additional stop at the hotel on the way home. On arrival Sam recommended an upgrade to the panorama room and the view of the Bund was incredible. We entered the room with a lovely display to celebrate our recent wedding. Vicky was on hand with any queries we had via WeChat and was able to coordinate the delivery of our suitcases from Beijing. The concierge Michael actually made payment for our cases on our behalf as we hadn't reached the hotel yet which was really appreciated! Other highlights were the breakfast and the attentiveness of the door staff.

MMelody mengA very satisfying stay. The room was incredibly clean; even though it's an older hotel, it smelled fresh with no peculiar odors. The room facilities weren't outdated either, feeling quite high-quality. The service was excellent, with staff from the front desk to housekeeping being warm and attentive.
The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, with a rich variety of Chinese and international restaurants and snacks. The hotel entrance is right at People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The only minor regret is that the classic red roses were replaced with pink ones. Personally, I think the red ones were more elegant and timeless.

The location is also perfect, within walking distance of major attractions and delicious restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city and can’t wait to come back!

Environment: We had an Oriental Pearl River View room, which offered stunning views of both the 'Three-piece Suit' (Lujiazui skyscrapers) and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The large floor-to-ceiling windows made the night view absolutely fantastic. For this location, this room type offers incredible value for money.

FFrequent.travelerThe location of the hotel is good with many restaurants nearby. The room cleanliness was good and the size of the room wasn’t very bog but still enough space to be comfortable. The bathroom was rather small and the bathroom door was difficult to open and close. The service was good and the staff were polite and accommodating during our stay. The safety deposit box was locked and we couldn’t use it so we contacted the reception and they managed to get it fixed quickly with the help of the maintenance staff.

AAmeixianshengThe location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The staff honestly told us that the Oriental Pearl TV Tower view was partially obstructed, but it was still stunning. They even provided disposable bath liners and milk bath packets for the bathtub. Xiao Wu was incredibly helpful, always answering our questions promptly and efficiently. A big thank you to Xiao Wu! The only minor issue was the front desk male staff member's insincere expression when we checked in at 6 PM on January 12th, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the front desk staff who checked us in late at night were very friendly despite the late hour. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent! The hotel definitely has some age, but the TV was smart, and the breakfast was refreshing and cozy. All in all, a good experience!
