Excellent
QQinghexuxianzhiGot a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise! The hotel is very close to The Bund, and Yu Garden station is within walking distance, making transportation very convenient. The room was quite soundproof, and unlike other hotels on this trip, there was no sewage odor. Breakfast was also good with plenty of options. Overall, I recommend staying here.

GGuest UserHonestly, I never expected such an amazing experience at this hotel! I just picked it randomly, and I was completely blown away. Right from booking, the service was incredibly thoughtful. They proactively reached out to confirm all the details before check-in, so I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so relaxing. Penny and Constance were wonderfully helpful, and the concierge was always on hand, efficient and reliable. The room itself was huge, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. The view from the window instantly put me in a better mood. Although it's located in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful – I felt completely at ease. The hotel restaurant's food was also perfectly to my taste, delicious and comforting. There wasn't a single thing to complain about during my entire stay; I felt relaxed and free the whole time. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely choosing this place again!

IImyyjmI stayed in the Panorama Bund Retreat King Bed Room with Oriental Pearl Tower View. The panoramic views are unbelievably beautiful and can be enjoyed both from the room and the large bathtub. The window stretches almost the entire width of the room, with a large sofa beside it that allows you to sit comfortably and fully appreciate the skyline. The bed was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the staff even brought scented oils to help with relaxation and sleep, which was a lovely touch. I must have arrived during a particularly busy period because the restaurant was always crowded and there was usually a queue for breakfast. However, on one occasion I was offered a takeaway breakfast box instead as I was in a hurry. As I do not have a Chinese phone number, I had difficulty ordering food from outside the hotel. Since the hotel had no halal and vegetarian options aside from one pasta dish, a member of staff kindly used their own phone to help me place an order and allowed me to reimburse them through Alipay. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful and helpful service. Even spending time in the hotel lobby felt relaxing, as the pink cherry blossoms outside the windows created such a beautiful atmosphere. The spa treatments were excellent and deeply relaxing. Lisa was fantastic and made the entire experience feel comfortable and welcoming. The in-room amenities were also wonderful! I loved the fragrance of the body lotion so much that I bought one from the spa before leaving. This has become one of my favourite hotels, and I already can’t wait to return.

TTomato MxiaojieThis was my second stay at this hotel, and it's been recently renovated. The cleanliness is still top-notch, without any hint of smoke. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent; you can barely hear any street noise. The hotel also provided a complimentary afternoon tea set for two, which was actually too much even for us three girls! The pastries were delicious and the coffee was great too. I especially want to commend the staff's excellent service attitude; they were so enthusiastic in answering our questions and even gave us a free room upgrade. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

QQianlifujiHad a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation. While the room facilities aren't the newest, the bedding was comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The front desk staff were quite friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Overall, the hotel's environment and cleanliness are far superior to express hotels in the same price range. Highly recommend.

GGuest UserExcellent, exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was surprisingly spacious for this area. The bathroom with a bathtub was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure, making for a refreshing wash. You can grab bottled water from the dispenser by the elevator on each floor, which is perfect for an introvert like me. The subway station is literally just around the corner to the right – it takes a minute or two to get in, which is amazing; I've never stayed in a hotel so close to a subway before. Getting a ride-share is also very convenient; you can just set the pickup location to the hotel or the Agricultural Bank next door. The cleaning lady was also very polite; whenever she saw us leaving, she'd immediately ask if she could clean, so I didn't even need to tell the front desk. The building itself is very historic and full of character, and I took many photos because I loved the style. From my room, I could even see the 'Three-piece set' (referring to Shanghai's iconic skyscrapers) in the distance. All in all, this hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserThe hotel offers excellent service, both in the rooms and at the restaurant. We even received a complimentary dinner buffet with our one-night stay. The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance, and the variety of food is outstanding. I especially loved the red date tea and passion fruit tea. The hot pot selection, including the beef and live shrimp, was also top-notch, and they even had baked lobster and seafood soup. Breakfast was great too, and the room had a fantastic view!

GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money and excellent quality. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service was attentive and patient. The in-room facilities are comprehensive, and the high-altitude pool experience was fantastic with all the necessary amenities. Its proximity to attractions like the Oriental Pearl Tower makes it super convenient for a stroll and sightseeing. Public transport is easily accessible, with a subway station nearby, making it effortless to get around.

GGuest UserA belated review, but an honest one. This Holiday Inn offers the same quality but with better value for money. Although it's not in a prime tourist area, the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so dining in or getting takeout is quick and easy. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also quite good. What I liked most was the swimming pool, which also has a hot tub and sauna. After a day of exploring, coming back for a swim and a soak made for a much better night's sleep. They also have a 24-hour gym and laundry facilities. Overall, it was a great experience, and both adults and kids were happy!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the staff are very welcoming. It's just a 10-minute walk to Waibaidu Bridge and The Bund. Taxis to Jing'an Temple and Raffles City are also very quick. There are plenty of local eateries within walking distance at the Binjiang Commercial Center. The room was very clean, and the shower and toilet were in separate, convenient spaces. All toiletries were provided, and the room was cleaned daily and very quiet. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the orange water in the lobby was a nice touch. If I get the chance to visit Shanghai again, I'll definitely stay here.
