Extremely convenient, right opposite Kyoto Station, and surprisingly not noisy at all. The room I chose was spacious enough for two people, with plenty of room to open our suitcases. The service was excellent, from check-in to breakfast, and even just coming and going. Great value for money, highly recommended.

The hotel's location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel, and in just a few minutes, you're at Kyoto Station, which is super convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. Yet, it's far enough from the hustle and bustle of the station that it's very quiet for sleeping at night. Turn left, and in a few minutes, you'll reach the Oishibashi bus stop, which pretty much covers all the major tourist attractions. The room is spacious enough, and the best part is the public bath on the ground floor – perfect for unwinding after walking around 15,000 steps every day. If you go around 4-5 PM, it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. I stayed for 10 days, and the breakfast was very convenient with varied options daily. The front desk staff were very polite and always enthusiastically answered any questions. The foreign male housekeeper was also very courteous and always greeted me in the mornings. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

Facilities: The amenities are quite comprehensive. However, because it's very close to the train station, the soundproofing isn't great, and you can hear the train. This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Cleanliness: Clean. Towels and bath towels were replaced daily.
Environment: Very close to Kyoto Station. You just turn right after exiting the central gate, and it's less than 100 meters away. Very convenient for transportation.
Service: The front desk service was excellent. The breakfast selection wasn't very wide.

The hotel's location is fantastic! The design is also very modern and forward-thinking. The front desk and concierge staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and always attentive to whether we needed any assistance. It was a very satisfying stay. We stayed in Japan for 7 nights and switched between 3 hotels, and this was by far the most satisfying five-star hotel experience!

The hotel is conveniently located directly across from JR Kyoto Station, making it super easy to find. The room size was decent, especially for the king-size bed I booked, which I really liked. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, particularly for JR lines – no need to rush at all. The absolute highlight was the breakfast! There was such a wide variety, including sushi 🍣, various alcoholic beverages, cheese, salads, and grilled meats. The restaurant faces the station, so I highly recommend opting for breakfast – it's excellent value, and the sushi was delicious. The service was great too, and the lobby offers complimentary water and even Sekkisei cosmetics, which was an amazing bonus!

Extremely happy with my stay here, especially in this room. Honestly, I’m not sure why there are bad reviews — unless you’re particularly plus-size and need extra space, this room is completely fine. It actually has way more aesthetic and character than a plain, cookie-cutter hotel room, and the whole atmosphere genuinely added to our stay.

We had zero issues opening two 30kg suitcases on the floor, with plenty of room left to move around comfortably.

Only minor note: the sink is a little smaller and slightly lower than the usual height, but the bathtub and shower work perfectly, so it didn’t bother us.

And the location? Chef’s kiss. Being right next to Kyoto Station means unbeatable access to trains, buses, and sightseeing — one of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel over others. Truly an amazing base for exploring Kyoto!

The Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex boasts an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, with spacious, modern-designed rooms, perfect for independent travelers. The staff are friendly and professional, and check-in and check-out processes are quick and smooth. With a plethora of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping facilities nearby, it's incredibly easy to visit major Kyoto attractions or embark on a Kansai trip. It's truly an accommodation option that offers both comfort and convenience.

The location is absolutely fantastic! The airport shuttle bus goes directly to Universal Studios. After getting off, it's just a short walk following the signs. Right outside the hotel's back door, a right turn leads you straight to the subway station 🚇.

We booked a triple room. It wasn't huge, but considering it's Japan and in the Universal area, it's probably to be expected. It was a bit snug, which is typical for Japan, but for the price, I felt it offered pretty good value for money.

Stepping out of the hotel, you're right in the middle of a commercial center, with everything for eating, drinking, and shopping – a true one-stop shop. It's incredibly convenient for indulging in some retail therapy and delicious food.

Here's a little tip for Universal Studios: If you want great photos, try to find one of the staff members. They are excellent photographers and the pictures turn out amazing. We randomly asked an elderly cleaning staff member that day, and it turned out he was a photography pro! Every single shot was fantastic, providing 100% emotional value. On top of that, after taking our photos, he even gave us some Universal stickers, which was incredibly touching!

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keihan Namba Grande 🏨✨

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient for exploring the Namba area 🚶♀️🚶♂️. One of the highlights was the complimentary Starbucks coffee ☕ and the variety of free drinks available during my stay.

I also loved the thoughtful amenities, especially the KOSÉ moisturizer and skincare samples provided 🧴💖 — a nice touch for travelers!

The hotel is within walking distance of many popular spots, including Namba Parks, Rikuro’s famous cheesecake 🍰, and the lively Dotonbori area with its iconic atmosphere 🌟. It made sightseeing and food hunting so easy and enjoyable.

Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka. Clean, convenient, and packed with little extras that made the stay even better. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had previously stayed at a Hotel Keihan Kyoto Ekiminami in Kyoto, and it was a fairly good experience. So when Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi Ekimae popped up when I was doing a search on Osaka hotels, I decided to give it a go. Pleasantly surprised I must say. The hotel room was very nice and cozy and pleasantly decorated. It had much more flair than the Kyoto branch, and had a more inviting and stylish vibe. Everything was well maintained, clean and almost pristine. Staff were friendly and professional. As for the location, that could be a minor inconvenience for some, as I had to transit 2 train lines to get there, though overall I found it not a hardship to travel to many of the places I wanted to visit. Huge plus was there was a mall just opposite the hotel, and it was walking distance to 3 different konbinis. Overall I still enjoyed my stay pretty much, and will consider this hotel again.

This hotel is really convenient, super close to JR Kyobashi Station, and there's a mall nearby for shopping. They also offer luggage storage and a laundry service for 500 yen (wash and dry). A young male staff member at the front desk (with slightly curly hair) was exceptionally helpful. On the evening of the 28th, I couldn't open a washing machine in the laundry room that had been used by a previous guest. He helped me open it and even showed me how to use it. I'm so grateful to him! The hotel service is excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka!

Super convenient! It's only a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs (this is amazing! It totally satisfied my daily craving for 7-Eleven fried food!). You can grab skincare products and water on the first floor, and there's a coffee machine in the mornings. The laundry room is also really handy!

We took a min twin bed room for three nights. The room was indeed very small, but the size was compensated by al the other things and services- there was even the USB and Type-C charging device, which was unexpectently pleasant. Location was superb, and the hotel managers were all super helpful and nice!

This was my third stay, and this hotel truly is a hidden gem among all the hotels in Tokyo. Every morning, I'd wake up and walk to the outer market for breakfast. The hotel service is also excellent. Previously, the bathroom in the same room type was different, so I contacted Trip.com. Trip.com then reached out to the hotel, and a dedicated staff member showed us several room types to understand the situation, and then changed us to a satisfactory room. On each floor, room numbers 20-25 are double rooms. Rooms 20 and 25 have bathrooms like the one shown in picture two, while rooms 21-24 have better bathrooms with separate bathtubs and showers. Also, rooms 21-24 have beds that are actually 1.8m, while rooms 20 and 25 have 1.6m beds, even though all are listed as 1.6m – they are actually different! However, room 20 is the furthest from the elevator, so it depends on personal preference. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this price point in Tokyo.

”The economy twin room was incredibly cramped, with virtually no floor space to walk or even open a 22-inch suitcase. We ended up paying an extra 4,000 yen to upgrade to a deluxe twin room. While the upgrade gave us enough space to move around and open our luggage, the room layout was a bit odd; the toilet and bathroom are separate, and the massive sink counter felt like a waste of space that could have been better used for walking area. Additionally, the hotel is a 15-minute walk from the metro station, which can be quite a trek if you are hauling heavy bags.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Shinjuku, and the breakfast is pretty good too. The room layout and space are well-designed and practical, and it's fully equipped with everything you need. You can pick up toiletries from the first floor if you need them. It's super convenient for getting to places like Ginza.
