This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Green Lake Hotel, and our entire family, including seniors and children, had an amazing experience staying here! The front desk staff, noticing we had elders and kids with us, proactively offered a complimentary upgrade to a room with a separate wet and dry area. This was incredibly convenient for the seniors to wash up and we didn't have to worry about the children slipping – full marks for attention to detail. The room was clean and elegant, with a historical street view outside the window, making for a very comfortable stay.

To our pleasant surprise, the Chinese meal included in the Ctrip package was incredibly rich and varied. From specialty appetizers to delicate dim sum, every dish showed great care and thought. The service staff at the Chinese restaurant were exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, smiling throughout and providing meticulous care. The pick-up driver was polite and the check-in process at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Everything truly made us feel at home.

Even more heartwarming, the hotel prepared a generous welcome gift for the children, who were absolutely thrilled. This thoughtful gesture deeply touched our whole family. As a 70-year-old established state guest house, it certainly lives up to its profound heritage. This stay was both comfortable and memorable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling with family. We will definitely choose Green Lake Hotel again on our next visit to Kunming! And a special thanks again to the driver who helped us rush to catch our high-speed train – everything was perfect!

This is a well-established five-star hotel with an excellent location. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is friendly. It offers good value for money and is always my top choice when I visit Kunming.

It's very convenient for food, accommodation, and getting around. It's just a short walk to Kunming Oriental Plaza, Spring City 66 (the twin towers), Nanqiang Street, Nanping Street, Kunming Old Street, and Shuncheng Shopping Center. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and I highly recommend their flower cakes and 'Crossing the Bridge' noodles – they're delicious! 👍

I rarely leave reviews on Trip.com, but Kunming Haitian Hotel truly deserves a detailed one!

**Location:** The hotel is located right in the heart of Kunming, at the intersection of Tuodong Road and Beijing Road, near Tangzixiang Metro Station exits E and F (Lines 2 and 6). Exit E is just a short turn downstairs from the hotel, and Exit F is directly across the street. Whether by metro, taxi, or bus, getting around is incredibly convenient. Wujing Road, right next to the hotel, is a residential area with a variety of eateries and a small market. The strawberries and blueberries there were delicious and even better value than those at Donghua. There's also a great restaurant called 'Metro Exit Restaurant' near Exit F, serving good food – we ate there several times. The hotel is opposite the Kunming Public Security Bureau and behind either a police station or traffic police brigade, giving you a strong sense of security!

**Environment:** The lobby is elegant and grand, offering complimentary hot tea and water, and even has a designated indoor smoking area. The festive New Year's decorations were lovely, with horse-themed mini-games and DIY craft activities in the lobby, which were a big hit with the kids staying at the hotel. My daughter basically wanted to stay in the lobby doing crafts every day and didn't want to go back to the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym, both accessible with your room card. Drinking water is provided in both areas, and the gym even has clean towels – a very thoughtful touch.

**Cleanliness:** We booked a family twin room, which was spotless and tidy. The two 1.3-meter beds, pushed together, were perfectly spacious for two adults and two children. The bedding felt clean and fresh. The bathroom was family-friendly; the sink and toilet heights were just right for kids, and the faucet had a cute pink elephant attachment that prevented splashes. While the bathroom size was a bit compact, it was impeccably clean.

**Service:** Ex! Ce! Llent! The moment we stepped into the hotel, a young man quickly came forward to help us with our luggage. While checking in, a friendly young lady offered us hot tea. A special thank you to the Assistant Lobby Manager, who proactively helped us coordinate shuttle bus seats to Haigeng when our itinerary unexpectedly changed! Thanks to Mr. Kuang Hao, who promptly found an extension cord and brought it to our room, accompanied the children doing crafts every day, carefully looked after them, and politely declined my sincere New Year's red packet. My daughter specifically told me to give him a five-star review! And thanks to the driver who took us to Haigeng on the morning of the 21st – he enthusiastically recommended many routes to us; he was so warm and friendly. Thank you to every staff member we encountered during our six-day stay; each interaction was met with a smile, polite treatment, and a willingness to help with anything we needed.

This trip to Kunming was enjoyable and unforgettable, partly because we chose Haitian Hotel. Back to work tomorrow, but we'll try to see you again this summer!!

The room was spotless and well-maintained, feeling very new. It's super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Metro Line 5. You can easily stroll to famous old restaurants like Kuiyuan Hall and Zhiweiyuan, and even walk to West Lake Scenic Area. It's a great choice whether you're traveling for leisure or business. Plus, the breakfast had a wide variety and tasted delicious!

After reading some negative reviews, I honestly thought I'd avoid this place if there were any other options. However, upon arrival, the front desk staff, particularly Xiao Liu, provided excellent service. The room initially assigned was in a very secluded corner, and she promptly helped us switch rooms. The gentleman who escorted us to the new room even gave us tips on night markets to explore in the evening. Since the kids had already laid on the bed in the first room before we switched, the duty auntie immediately changed the duvet cover. Because we were traveling with children, they also provided an extra blanket and toiletries. Overall, I had a very good experience. I accidentally bumped the elevator alarm button at one point, and security personnel immediately came to check on us. 👍

This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are spacious and come with complimentary welcome fruits and cookies. The bed was incredibly comfortable. A big plus is the free laundry room, which includes washers and dryers, along with thoughtful touches like laundry detergent and color catchers, making it super convenient for travelers. The breakfast was plentiful and featured local specialties.
