"If you need a place to stay for one night due to an early flight or train, I absolutely recommend this hotel. It offers excellent value for money; for just over 300 yuan, you get a huge room with comfortable bedding. There's a shuttle bus from the airport every half an hour, and it only takes a few minutes to get here. To get to the train station, you can walk through the hotel directly, and it takes just five minutes – super convenient. The hotel windows are also great; you can barely hear any airplane noise.
The downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people talking in the next room. Also, when I called to ask about the airport pickup, they didn't clearly specify which gate to wait at for the shuttle bus; we had to ask airport staff after we landed. Another issue is that the hotel towels are too old and dirty; I suggest replacing them, as they were quite disgusting to look at."

"Had an overnight layover at Haikou returning to Sydney. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful, the room was clean and the price for the night was very reasonable, highly recommend.
With airport transfer it would be best to let staff know when your flight is and book the shuttle bus in advance as they only come around every hour.

"The guesthouse boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient to get around, with abundant dining options nearby. The lovely lady at the front desk was also incredibly helpful, providing us with fantastic recommendations for local eateries and activities.
We booked a first-floor loft room. Given it's an older property, noise from guests returning late upstairs (talking and footsteps) was quite audible. We brought this to the attention of the front desk, and they handled the issue very professionally, even offering to move us to a different room if the noise persisted.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and had a wonderful time. Should we visit Haikou again, we would definitely choose this guesthouse!
P.S. We accidentally broke a bathroom glass, and the kind lady at the front desk was so understanding that she didn't charge us for it. Thank you so much! 😊"

"Choosing Atour Hotel for this Haikou trip was definitely the right decision! I have to give it a big thumbs up. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's right next to Wanghai Shopping Mall, DC Computer City, and Mingzhu Square, and just a ten-minute walk to Qilou Old Street. The hotel lobby is spacious and grand; you feel comfortable as soon as you step in. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and we were even more pleasantly surprised to find a smart delivery robot, which was quite cute. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, and the bed quality was excellent. The room attendant mentioned it was a Serta mattress, and it was exceptionally comfortable to sleep on. What really added value were the children's pillows and toothbrushes. The bathroom was very large, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a magnifying mirror for makeup – full of thoughtful details. Plus, the hotel has a laundry room and a fitness center, which is incredibly convenient for washing clothes and getting a quick workout during a long trip. Highly satisfied!"

"Small and clean hostel, with a popular photo taking spot just on the third floor of the same building. Just need to flash your room card to access the area. Very good location right at Qilou Old Street. Near to a few popular shops. Staff was friendly and allowed us to top up a little more payment to extend our stay til evening, as our flight was at night. So we could get some rest and wash up before heading to the airport."

"Haikou was our final stop on this island tour, primarily because the hotel is conveniently located near the airport and also in the city center, making transportation, dining, and entertainment easily accessible. I specifically chose to stay at The Langham, based on Ctrip's recommendations, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is very new and incredibly luxurious. I felt it offered great value for money, truly exceeding my expectations. They also sell souvenirs ranging from a few tens to over a hundred yuan, which are very reasonably priced and quite meaningful. It was a delightful experience, I loved it so much!"

"I originally stayed in a luxurious, spacious room, but the typhoon was so severe that rain blew into my room through the balcony door. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately agreed to change my room and even upgraded me for free. The rain intensified that afternoon, and the leak started again. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately came to address it. The management immediately contacted the front desk to help me change my room, but they said they couldn't, saying the water was about to reach under the bed and how could they afford to stay there [facepalming]. They immediately arranged another room for me and sent a staff member to help move me in. It was a higher-quality room, and they later provided a room card, fruit, and some snacks and tea. While staying in a hotel during a typhoon was tedious, and having to move twice was frustrating, the hotel's service was excellent and highly recommended. However, the hotel's waterproofing is a major issue, and I hope they can improve it. If I visit Haikou again, I'd definitely consider staying here."

"A perfect score is a must! First, I must commend the front desk service; they were patient and attentive, and even upgraded our room for free. The room was impeccably clean; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor even when barefoot. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, very neck-friendly, and I slept exceptionally comfortably. The shower had great water pressure, and the hot water came on quickly, washing away all our fatigue. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The bread and Hainanese noodles were particularly tasty, and the hotel was open until 10 am, which was still quite convenient. The fruit was fresh and sweet. Our flight was in the afternoon, and the hotel's latest airport shuttle service was at 2:50 pm. We asked the front desk at 4 pm if they still offered the shuttle, and they said they had a car available to take us directly to the airport. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I have a layover in Haikou! Highly recommended!"

"This is a new hotel, and both the service and facilities are excellent. It's also very clean.
**Room:** Upon entering the room, you're greeted with a sophisticated tech experience, as the lights and curtains open automatically. The design is also very stylish.
**Dining:** We held our baby's first birthday banquet here. The dishes were exquisitely prepared, and their temperature was maintained perfectly despite the busy banquet. The food was also served quickly. The staff's adaptability was impressive 👍; when we had last-minute additional guests, they promptly helped us with extra chairs and dishes, ensuring the dinner went smoothly. Thumbs up!
**Breakfast:** The breakfast restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the food selection was great. The staff were proactive in offering high chairs and promptly cleared empty plates.
**Front Desk:** The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, asking about our check-in experience and if we had driven, then proactively helping us register our license plate."

Getting around from here is a breeze. The room itself was impeccably clean; the bedding was neat and soft, the floors sparkled, and even the bathroom corners were spotless – it was a truly comfortable stay.
The service was exceptionally thoughtful. The staff were both enthusiastic and efficient, always ready to help whenever needed. The airport pick-up service was particularly excellent; the driver was already waiting at the airport, proactively helped with luggage, and the ride was smooth all the way to the hotel. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I had such a comfortable stay that I'll definitely be back!

The perfectly scented aroma completely dispelled travel fatigue. The room was warmly decorated and clean, and the pillows were especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for someone prone to insomnia. The restaurant on the fourth floor served Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine, and I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese-style salted lemon tea, which was tart and sweet with a hint of salt. My stay at the Mu Nan Hotel has made me want to visit Hainan again. It's a shame I forgot to take photos, but I'll make up for it next time.

GGuest UserWhenever I visit Haikou, this is pretty much my go-to hotel, and it's truly fantastic. It's a villa-style property, with each unit boasting its own private courtyard. These courtyards are equipped with swings and rocking horses, perfect for kids to play on, and there are also lovely areas for a leisurely stroll. The surroundings are very peaceful, and crucially, it's conveniently located close to both the high-speed rail station and Wuyue Plaza.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning cools down super fast. They even have a projector with a large screen, making movie nights incredibly enjoyable. What's more, they include a streaming membership, so you have access to a vast selection of films – it really adds to the comfort and relaxation.
The hotel has its own private parking lot behind the building. This means you never have to stress about finding a parking spot, even if you return late at night – a definite bonus!

There are no dishes in the apartment except for four mugs. The main drawback is the location. It's good that there are taxis, but how to use them is a separate issue, unrelated to the hotel.

GGuest UserBecause we had to take the ferry, we found a place to stay near the ferry. When we booked it, we had the mentality of giving it a try. After we checked in, it was beyond our expectations. The sanitation was very clean, which was cleaner than the B&Bs we stayed in before. It was a loft design. I also liked this kind of small apartment. There was a cloakroom and everything you need. The most important thing is that it is truly pet-friendly! There is no charge. It is much better than some stores that say they are pet-friendly but are unwilling to accept dogs when you call to ask. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Hainan.
