The front desk is very friendly and there is no problem if you don’t understand the language. (gesturing) Check-in will give you a coupon for the Basel area. Next to the coop supermarket and bus station, it is also very close to the train station! The bed was very comfortable, I had a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast is also delicious! There is also a very lively Christmas market in Basel. If you use coupons, transportation will be free~~ There are also coupons for the barbecue downstairs.

The hotel is located quite near to the station (around 5-10mins walk away), but you will have to lift your luggage up a flight of stairs to reach their lobby. The hotel is also located near Basel's tourist attractions. The hotel staff who served us during the check in was super friendly and polite, and guided us to look at the city map. Enjoyed the fact that they served fruits and water at their lobby for guests, as we will always get a drink when we exit/enter the hotel.

Basel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern. **Environment:** Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it. **Facilities:** There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers. **Cleanliness:** The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels. **Service:** Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The downside is that the toilet and showers are outside the room. Also, anyone considering staying here should know that the rooms are shared, meaning you'll be staying with others in the same room. Although they did give me a private room, which is why I stayed. The room had bunk beds, no TV, and no fridge, and you couldn't open the window. In a word, I do not recommend it.

The hotel is located near the train station and in the city center. The room is beautifully decorated with a very clean bathroom. The beds and duvets are wonderful. The breakfast was good, though for a 4-star hotel, I expected it to be a bit more luxurious. However, everything was there for a good start to the day. You can park your car in the hotel's parking garage, but reservations are required. I definitely recommend staying here.

Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

We had a very pleasant stay at this family-friendly hotel with a well-organized atmosphere and exceptionally kind staff. The hotel fully met our expectations. The tram stop right in front of the hotel made transportation extremely convenient, and its location was also very close to the city center. Thank you for the two wonderful days. If we visit Basel again, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.
