Hotels near Tinguely Museum, Basel

The hotel is located right next to the SBB station, making transportation within and outside Basel very convenient. There's a large supermarket right next door and in the station's basement. Unlike other European cities, the area around the station is relatively safe, so it's not dangerous. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, and the famous breakfast restaurant is beautiful. The breakfast food is good, but the selection isn't extensive. The interior is classic, but not outdated! It's clean, stylish, and friendly. I would definitely return!

Location across from main train station and tram outside hotel entrance is perfect for exploring Basel if you are on there for a short time. Outside dining area to sit and watch the world go by. Lobby bar area with piano player in the evening is lovely. Room wasn’t the biggest and you could only get into the bed on one side as it was up against the wall. Friends room was bigger so luck of the draw I guess as I booked two rooms of the same style. Rooms were clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Water in the fridge refreshed daily was a pleasant suprise together with coffee and tea facilities. Very good big shower though. Reception and Bar staff helpful and friendly. Didn’t eat in the dining room but they offered discount on menu prices to residents. Would stay again.

The hotel is located at a beautiful neighborhood and it is very convenient. On top of that, staffs are very helpful and friendly.

Service: The reception staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. Cleanliness: The room was spotless. Environment: The overall hotel environment is pleasant, and the room layout is also very practical. Facilities: Most hotels in Switzerland have very soft pillows, but this was the only one that offered memory foam pillows, which made for a more comfortable sleep. The only downside is that if your room faces the street, you might hear the trams passing by outside.

The facilities were clean,housekeeping were friendly and respectful,wi fi was very functional,Bartenders and receptionist were friendly and helpful,i wont forget Rufat and Melina for their kind gestures at the bar.😊

Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

I had a wonderful stay in this hostel. Love the dormitory room layout where it separates the lockers & pantry with the beds. Beautiful green view from the room.

The hostel is spacious and modern. Everything is exactly what it looks like in the photos. All areas were clean. The hostel itself was quiet, but I guess everything depends on who you are rooming with. The check-in and out process is smooth, making it convenient to come and go as you please. The instructions given were clear. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown. The options were limited. I prefer my breakfast to be full of protein to sustain me throughout the morning, but also love having something sweet for my mood and well-being. There was cheese present, which is great, but no ham/prosciutto/eggs/etc. No pastry or a dessert. There was something like Nutella (but not quite) and jams, but that's it. No pancakes/waffles/croissants. Two varieties of bread/tea/water/milk. Not sure about juice. The location is about 20-30 minutes from the center. Well-connected to public transport, though
