I booked a room as a woman traveling alone and was overall satisfied with my stay. Considering the price, it offered good value for money. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for me. It was perfect for one night, and I would definitely book again. The location was very quiet, making the stay calm and pleasant.

I wouldn’t say the hotel is at tip top condition given it is just a 2-year old hotel. Curtain hooks are falling off (I fixed it myself). Only two pillows for in the room we stayed (isnt it normally 4 pillows for a hotel room?). Asked for extra pillow and duvet for the sofa bed, got extra towel and didnt get extra pillow, too lazy to fix it so I gave up… towel is a bit worn off too… Aside from that, I love the location! Close to changi village hawker for all the good food, close to changi beach for an evening stroll and morning exercise. Overall nice experience but maybe not for the picky humans. I was going to give 3.5 stars initially. Gave 4 stars because the nice staff voluntarily helped to load our luggages onto our cab!

The hotel room is incredibly spacious—larger than 90% of the hotels in Singapore—so the value for money is excellent. Located right by the sea, the surroundings are beautiful, and there are plenty of snack stalls nearby. The room was spotless and furnished with brand-new furniture. I have a very favorable impression of this hotel and hope to stay here again next time.

The changi cove is a lovely hotel. Very peaceful, but the reason is that it is in the middle of nowhere if you are a tourist. It has good rooms and the staff are amazing, but if you are looking to spend a few days trying to squeeze in all the famous sights and landmarks this may not be the place for you. The MRT does not cover the area, it is that far out so be prepared to spend 30 to 50 SDG to get back after a days sightseeing. There is a free curtesy bus but it stops at 8.00pm from the train station so no good for all of the wonderful night light shows. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the location.

Stayed for one night during the Spring Festival. When I first entered the room, I didn't notice it because the fan was on, but after turning it off, the entire night was filled with an unpleasant musty smell, which seriously affected my rest. Luckily, it was just a one-night stopover near the airport before heading to Sentosa the next morning. If it had been a longer stay, it would have been absolutely unbearable. Also, the hotel room facilities are too old; the refrigerator was rusty.

Due to the late arrival of Scoot flight TR611 from Suvarnabhumi past 11.30 pm, it costs me S$21.30 by Grab to arrive at Dorsett Changi City Hotel from Changi Airport. I stayed here one night for the convenience of boarding the free shuttle bus service at the neighbouring Expo Hall 5 for Singapore Airshow 2026 past 7 am on 8 February 2026. There is no need to pay the room deposit for one night stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel. The room rate is overpriced as the room allocated to me is small. There is no pair of indoor slippers or sandals to wear and there is no room razor to use. Instead of four-class service, the hotel service should be classified as three-class instead. Top quality body lotion as well as body and hand wash are provided for room use. There is free filtered water to drink. Like Maya Hotel in Phuket, the toilet is separated from the shower room but Dorsett guests hang towels in the toilet and not the shower room! Flooding occurs after showering. Breakfast also starts at 6.30 am but it costs S$33.57 per guest. This is the breakfast rate payable to the reception by debit card, credit card or cash while it costs S$39 plus if the guest pays for breakfast at the hotel's Cosmo Restaurant. 6.30 am is the earliest breakfast outside homes in Changi as the nearest convenience store 7-11 is opened only at 7 am daily. The restaurant serves more varieties of fruits than other hotel restaurants as well as multi-grain bread. Cosmo Restaurant is also running ala carte buffet lunch promo rate at S$29.90 per person. Members of the public can also eat here. During winter months, planes can be seen flying past Standard Chartered Bank Building of Changi Business Park from the lift corridor. The reception says hotel guests on the hotel's swimming pool deck can also see planes flying. I recommend to stay at Dorsett Changi City Hotel for one night only if guests wanted to go to Expo to attend a MICE event on the next day, catch an early free shuttle bus to Singapore Airshow or stay at a cheaper rate than Yotelair Changi during transit. Hotels in Singapore are indeed quite small, but the front desk service was excellent, and they even offered service in Chinese. The room was also fairly clean. For my first trip to Singapore, this price was quite affordable.

Considering it's a prime location where every inch counts, value for money isn't the priority. It's comfortable and safe to stay here, and super convenient for getting around and dining. The room, though small, has everything you need and is very clean. Plus, there are cheap durian stalls nearby! Free luggage storage after check-out is a nice bonus.

Hotels in Singapore are notoriously expensive and small. This one is decent, quite close to Paya Lebar MRT station, about 550 meters away, which makes getting around convenient! The lobby is a bit dated, but for the price, I guess it's acceptable. Don't expect too much, and you'll be fine.

The room was generally clean and tidy. The bathroom had a tap for drinking water, but no bottled water was provided, so those who aren't used to it should bring their own. There are many Vietnamese and Thai restaurants nearby, as well as the Joo Chiat Bakery. The hotel is quite far from the subway station; you'll need to take a bus or get off at the Joo Chiat crossroads and walk, which can be hot during the day.
