"This photo is from my room view. An important things to said if you drive can just consider other hotel. This hotel did not provide free parking as you know the town areas parking at Singapore are expensive. But this suitable who will take mrt, is just right below the hotel which is outram park. The pool have made my mom a bit disappointed because of not really have good maintenance since this is a 4 star global hotel, really cannot compare with Dorsett KL😌 I have met a front service counter staff, I hope she is just tired, because she looks like we owe her. She is very good on speaking mandarin and just nice this hotel nearby Chinatown. Might have a lot of mandarin users."

"Great location. It's a 20-minute walk to Marina Bay and 6 minutes to the subway. There's also a market nearby with cheap eateries. The hostel looks premium. It's fantastic that there's tea, coffee, a microwave, and a stove available. The common areas (kitchen, toilets, showers) are clean. On the downside: it's very noisy. There's ongoing construction nearby and many bars, plus the soundproofing isn't great."

"Very nice! The hotel lobby is exceptionally beautiful and unique, and everything is clean and tidy. The staff are welcoming, and Yang Ling provided meticulous and thoughtful service with great patience. The room was comfortable, and the location is very convenient. The hotel is right by the subway, making it easy to get to all the tourist attractions. It's a great choice for both leisure travel and business trips. Truly an excellent option!"

"The location is truly excellent, right in Chinatown. There are three or four metro lines within a 10-minute walk, which is super convenient. You can walk downstairs for a few steps and grab a bite at Ya Kun, and a little further leads you to Maxwell, where there are plenty of food options at good prices. The room was pretty much as expected. For someone who's out all day and only comes back late at night to shower and sleep, it's perfectly adequate. The soundproofing between rooms is decent, but noise from the hallway depends on other guests' consideration. I was assigned a room on the 4th floor. Each floor has restrooms; the 2nd floor is for men, 3rd for women, and 4th is mixed-gender. I imagine it might get crowded in the mornings if many people need to shower, but otherwise, it's fine. I downloaded the hotel's app beforehand. Upon arrival, I just followed the instructions on the sign. There was no need for human interaction throughout the whole process, and opening the room door was done via the mobile app and Bluetooth, so remember to take your phone when you leave the room. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the shower, but you'll need to bring your own other toiletries."

"I reli enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The best part was the staff service, everyone was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. On the other hand, the facilities inside the room are a bit old, but it was within my expectation given the hotel’s history, style and price. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean even though the facilities were a bit dated. Some minor maintenance or a refresh of the bathroom and toiletries cud make it perfect. Wi‑Fi worked fine and the air‑con was good, all at a reasonable price for wat u get."

"The room was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The hotel's location is super convenient. The side exit leads directly to the NE4/DT19 Chinatown MRT station. There's a little trick though: when leaving the hotel, you'll use Exit H. But if you're returning to Chinatown by MRT, you'll usually exit at E and walk back to the hotel above ground, which isn't far at all. If you want to use the underground passage, you'd need to exit the gantry and then re-enter to get back to Exit H, which costs 1.28 SGD (I used my EZ-Link). Honestly, I felt walking above ground was actually closer, but going underground does offer a nice respite from the sun.😁 If you exit the hotel where the taxis stop, you'll immediately see an Indian temple, right next to Chinatown. A little further down is the TE Maxwell MRT station. Walking in that direction, you'll pass Ya Kun Kaya Toast, and there's also a food center near the MRT station. It was perfect for my taste; I specifically came back every evening to eat there!🤭😍 Given its proximity to three MRT lines, it's really suitable for friends who need to branch out to different places. Highly recommended! Finally, I've attached this year's MRT map for everyone to easily check their routes."

"This hotel got everything i needed for a short stay in Singapore. A private bathroom, a small private space of my own, bidet, shower with faucet so i could take wudhu easily, hairdryer, power socket that can be used without universal adapter (i’m from Indonesia), strategic location close to several bus stop and MRT stations, and a stand by receptionist where i can leave my luggage before and after check-in/check-out. And with IDR 1.6 mio/night too, I honestly felt so impressed. Will definitely consider coming back."

"I had a long-term stay here. The female-only dorms are in two separate buildings. The first building is on the second floor with no elevator, and you need a key card to enter. This building has mixed-gender rooms, and the female dorms are on the same floor. When you go to the restroom, you'll likely encounter other guests. There are a decent number of restrooms and showers. In the common area, there's a washer and dryer, costing $10 per use, but limited drying space. The other female-only dorms are downstairs in the cafe area. These have fewer bathrooms and are dark with no windows. The breakfast is quite good, with different options each day. My only issue was with some of the staff's management, which I felt was inappropriate. Other than that, everything else was fine. It's close to Chinatown MRT, Exit A. One more thing: the communal kitchen with the water dispenser is in the cafe and bar next door, which is always busy and not very private."
