I was on a business trip to Shanghai during the Qixi Festival. I've always had a great impression of Hilton hotels from my previous stays abroad – their design, quality control, and hygiene are consistently excellent. So, when I saw this newly opened Hilton in the city center nearby, I immediately booked it.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. As soon as I arrived, the doorman proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. The doormen were consistently observant and attentive whenever I entered or exited, providing seamless and unobtrusive service. The lobby had a pleasant fragrance, and the decor had a very 'Shanghai' feel – stylish, grand, and chic, featuring a magnificent spiral staircase and a statue of Venus. Many couples were taking photos in the lobby.
I had originally booked a King room, but due to Qixi Festival, the front desk upgraded me to a quieter Twin room on the executive floor, and they also included complimentary breakfast. I had planned to try some local Shanghai breakfast specialties nearby, but I ended up having breakfast at the hotel instead. In addition to the standard Western hotel options, they also offered Shanghai specialties like large wontons, pan-fried dumplings, and savory soy milk. In the morning, there was also a Caucasian chef greeting guests at the entrance, likely from the hotel's Italian restaurant. The breakfast environment was very nice, though it did get a bit crowded sometimes with queues, and the layout for circulation was a bit disorganized. Overall, it was still very good.
The room had a very stylish design. It featured a three-way dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the toilet was a smart toilet with a remote control, which was very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by the room's layout; where I expected mirrors, there weren't any, and where I didn't expect them, they were placed. This made the entire space feel very open and gave the design a fresh, innovative feel. The window offered city views, and I could see landmarks like Riyueguang Plaza and the Shanghai World Financial Center. It was perfect for watching the clouds drift by and simply unwinding.
I made sure to go for a swim, and the pool was also quite good.
The hotel's location is excellent, right in a central area. In the evening, I took a stroll to the Wukang Building and walked back along Huashan Road. The entire route was perfect for a city walk. Choosing this hotel for my Shanghai trip was a great decision, and it made my stay very comfortable. Wishing the hotel continued success!

An amazing stay! Direct access to Hongqiao Terminal 1. The swimming pool and room had amazing views and we really enjoyed watching the planes. The room was clean and very new and it was helpful having a separate toilet to the shower. Many of the staff spoke good English and were very friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is truly disappointing. First, the front desk clerk during check-in was completely cold and non-communicative. They promised to let me know when the room was ready, but after waiting and waiting, even with my kids completely sleepy, they still didn't call. 📞 I called and was told I could pick up my room card and check in. They absolutely broke their promise. Then there were guests smoking on the communal carpet on our floor. 🚬 It's speechless and a huge safety hazard.
And then there's the breakfast. 🍳 For 238 per person, aside from the hot items at the noodle stand, everything else was cold. The fried noodles were cold and hard, there were only two stir-fried vegetables, the chives were dry, and the sweet potatoes 🍠 were undercooked. It was absolutely out of character!
For Chinese Valentine's Day, I specifically chose this hotel to celebrate, having been highly recommended since its opening. Seeing a package that included tickets to the Pudong Art Museum, I purchased two. Honestly, I was initially quite disappointed with the hotel, having suffered two days straight. Thankfully, the front desk manager, Sarah, provided attentive service; otherwise, I would have given it a 1. Sarah, upon understanding my complaints, upgraded us to a suite, provided cake and fruit, and paid attention to every detail in the room. This truly improved the overall experience.
However, the rest of the staff felt somewhat lifeless and lacked energy. Whenever I asked questions, they were always dismissive and dismissive. In contrast, the housekeepers were the most professional and pleasant. I hope management can improve staff training and overall service.
The hotel is conveniently located, about 300 meters from the subway station and surrounded by office buildings and numerous cafes. If you're driving, be aware that navigation isn't very accurate. At night, the bright lights from the buildings surrounding the hotel can easily obscure the Hilton logo, making it difficult to spot while driving.
The hotel offers free parking, but you need to report your license plate number to the front desk every time you enter or exit, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, we'd like to see more breakfast signage at the elevator entrance on the second floor. The breakfast areas are scattered, and the taste is generally average.
The takeout process isn't ideal: although robots are used for delivery, the delivery driver always places the food on the takeout stand, and the guest then contacts the hotel with their order details and phone number before delivery. Whoever designed this process is quite talented.

The bathtub was exceptional and one of the best features of the suite. The view was outstanding—serene and tranquil. The photo shoot service was a great addition and definitely worth it.
However, given the price, the room could have been much cleaner. I saved a poor spider that fell into the tub and released it under the sink; the thick layer of dust might hinder its survival.
Additionally, not every foreign guest is russian. Identifying someone as such could be offensive to many. This hotel is part of an international chain located in the global city of Shanghai, attracting visitors from all over the world.
Excellent service, they are quick to respond and very helpful. We changed to a villa coz we have a dog with us. The room that we stayed though had a really strong smell that triggered sinuses, they gave us a machine but it did not help at all. We have to open the sliding door the whole time to minimize the smell and to have air circulation. Few cobwebs and some bugs in the room, a thorough cleaning will solve this issue. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the city center and have a great relaxing time with the family. Awesome facilities! We enjoyed the outdoor pool so much and the green field for your fur baby to walk around. Very thoughtful service if you have a fur baby with you, they provide a bed, blanket and some toys, and accessible poop bags everywhere 🐶. A great place to stay and have a relaxing time with the family.
