"Excellent! Located in the old district of Macau Peninsula, it's convenient for dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping. Personally, I think it offers better value for money than staying in Taipa. From the Gongbei Port, you can take the Sands or Grand Lisboa shuttle bus, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point. For your return journey, you can also take the Sands shuttle back to the Border Gate. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel (bus route 3) that goes to the Ruins of St. Paul's, which is also just over a 1km walk away. The Fisherman's Wharf, Sands, MGM, Wynn, and StarWorld are all within walking distance too. The hotel management staff are polite and humble, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. It's quiet at night, ensuring a good rest. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay. I visit Macau frequently and will definitely stay here again next time."

"This hotel is quite old, with a very vintage feel and a strong sense of history.~~ Facilities: Average, generally quite old. I was particularly unhappy with the hairdryer; it was stuck in a drawer, couldn't be pulled out, and was tethered by a cord, making it incredibly difficult to use. It's not like I'm going to steal a hairdryer, it's not even valuable... Hygiene: Decent. Environment: Close to Fisherman's Wharf, overall pretty good. Service: The front desk staff were quite cold, making me wait until well after 3 PM for check-in. I don't think I'll be returning."

"The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance to Grand Lisboa and Ruins of St. Paul's, with multiple bus routes right outside, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and there was plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and you could store your luggage. Breakfast was abundant, with freshly ground coffee and made-to-order scrambled eggs. There are 24-hour supermarkets and restaurants all around, so you can grab a late-night snack just by going downstairs. It offers excellent value for money; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Macau!"

"Room is Clean and tidy (although it’s a bit tiny), trust to be newly renovated for not long. Location is pretty good, at the intersection of 2 main roads. Convenient stores, supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops are all available nearby. The Only and the biggest disadvantage is about the bed mattress. It’s really too hard, feel like sleeping on the floor. Hope they could improve this."

"The Waldo Hotel is strategically located, close to the city center and close to the bus to Hong Kong. The hotel is quiet clean, the rooms are quite spacious, and the price is reasonable."

"Location is far from Macau airport, but near to Border gate to Zhuhai, by car around 7 minutes. Walk about 200m got Direct bus from Airport is Bus No. 26, take around 45 minutes to reach. Bus fare only HKD6, is cheap. Hotel room is big and comfortable, although is a little old building but cleaness is OK, staff also helpful. 1st floor got dim sum restaurant, opposite and nearby is Market and many eateries shop. Walk about 13min to Ruin Of Saint Paul's. Overall worth the price, wil return again 😉"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. There was someone to open the door at the main entrance, and they offer a shuttle service to places like the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. Plus, there's a great restaurant right next door – super convenient! A really clever touch was having two hooks to hang washed underwear, which is fantastic! 👍"

"The hotel exterior is of poor appearance, but inside, the hotel is nice! The hotel reception staff would not let my Wife check in without me because I had made the booking which was very inconvenient as I would not arrive untill many hours later. My Wife had copies of my ID, Passport and booking confirmation but still would not let her check in which seems very unreasonable"

"The environment is beautiful, the location is excellent, transportation is convenient, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are friendly and eager to provide assistance. The facilities are highly user-friendly, the internet connection is fast and reliable, and the views from the windows are pleasant. It’s a good value for money, and I would stay here again next time."
