"The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping came every day. The transportation was also very convenient. The double room was quite spacious, and the facilities were relatively new. My only complaint is that the breakfast was very basic and repetitive; I ate the same things for three days straight and got tired of it."

"The room was clean and the location was convenient. However, the staff's handling of room assignments needs improvement! I had booked a two-night stay, but through two different platforms. When checking in, I specifically mentioned this and asked if they could arrange for me to stay in the same room for both nights. The staff said it was possible, but I would need to check out after the first night and then check back in the next morning at the front desk, as they couldn't directly perform 'in and out' procedures due to company policy. I understood this was their procedure and was willing to follow it. But the next morning at 9:30 AM, a staff member knocked on our door saying there was an important notice. Apparently, another guest, who was a 'premium guest,' had specifically requested the room we were currently in, so we had to move. I feel the front desk staff handled this very poorly."

"Great welcome on arrival. We stayed on the second floor, looked out the window saw train tracks but never heard 1 train it was great ! The staff are so friendly, we had breakfast and the food was great something for everyone nice and hot was well looked after will return soon ."

"I can't fault the location, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Easy to check in. They let you bring your own food and eat in the communial area. I like that the beds have rubber mattresses more hygienic that way. The last time I stayed here my room had curtains on the beds for privacy, but not this time, so I used my duvet and sheet, it' helps block out light if someone arrives late. The toilet and shower in the room was very convenient. I picked this hostel for the second time because you can't beat the location, you can get a bus to anywhere from the main road it's like where all buses meet in Elephant and Castle. As a, solo women traveling I feel safe in this hostel, as safe as you can feel sharing with strangers and also both stays have been quiet enough to get a bit of sleep which is a rare for me in a hostel. I will keep using this hostel for my London stays. I have tried several others and this by far has toped the cleanliness and moderness for me. I like a bargain and for the price I really felt I got a deal. My only points deducted would be on no kettle or kitchen to make a cup of tea in the morning, ( if they do have one I missed it both stays) they do have a bar that does food and breakfast, but I follow my own diet restrictions, so would be great to have a space to prepare, but I really can't fault this hostel. 10/10 location and cleanliness 9/10 comfort.. Just wish it had a kettle atleast that dorm guests could use."

"The location was good, and the room was clean. The staff were very friendly, and we got fresh towels and toilet paper every day. The only downside was the lack of places to put our belongings; we had to leave everything on the floor. A small wardrobe or dresser would have been desirable. Also, it should be mentioned during check-in that a hairdryer needs to be requested separately; I was quite surprised there wasn't one in the room. Otherwise, we were very satisfied."

"This place is spotlessly clean, and the owner is truly dedicated to running it well. The front desk staff, especially the young man, is incredibly patient, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. It's very close to the London Eye and Big Ben, just a 20-minute walk. You can take the 63 bus to King's Cross Station, making day trips to Cambridge and Edinburgh really convenient. Bus 148 offers a scenic route past the city's most iconic attractions – no need for a Big Bus tour! This is my second stay here, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. The breakfast is quite substantial for me, and my Chinese palate was perfectly happy with the eggs, oatmeal, milk, and coffee. They even provide purified water and fruit! It feels like the owner isn't even trying to make money, just completely focused on customer service. There are two supermarkets nearby, and the area feels safe, but I'd advise not coming back too late. London teenagers can be a bit... excitable, to say the least!"

"The hotel rep was kind enough to reply that they could not refund or change the dates of my stay when I informed them with proof of an email by Emirates who cancelled the original flight and rescheduled it causing me to lose an entire whole day and of course my paid booking at the hotel. When I finally landed I actually went to have a look and found the hotel as above. I really hope Trip.com will look into this issue of getting hotels to consider refunds in the event such as illness, emergency or flight cancellations or factors out of customers control regardless of the original clause of non refundable within 24 hours."

"A very special accommodation, the room is beautiful, the staggered stairs are interesting, there are welcome snacks, and the location is good, but the wind is too loud and the light in the shared bathroom is broken and no one has repaired it."
