"Stayed at Henn na Hotel Tokyo Asakusabashi and it was such a unique experience! The room was clean and comfortable. The size was not too small as i thought — pretty much the standard Tokyo hotel room size. Enough space to relax after a long day exploring the city. The most interesting part is the check-in experience. The receptionists here are robots! 🤖 Perfect for anyone who doesn’t feel like talking to people after a tiring trip. I arrived late at night and honestly… checking in with robots in a quiet lobby felt a little spooky at first 😂 But after a while, it became a fun and memorable experience. Overall, a nice, clean, and convenient hotel with a little futuristic Japanese touch. ✨"

"Pros: The surrounding residential area is relatively quiet, and the room is spacious enough to fully open two 26-inch suitcases. Check-in was smooth, just entering the access codes for the building downstairs and the room door. Cons: The frustrating part was that room 503, which we were assigned, had no curtains. Later, we realized the entire curtain track was missing and had been removed and placed in a separate compartment (without screws or a screwdriver). We called customer service to discuss this (knowing English was really important, otherwise I wouldn't have known how to explain it). The customer service initially said they'd send someone to check, but then said the maintenance worker wasn't available and would only come tomorrow. I was like, 'Are we supposed to sleep with all the neighbors watching?' I immediately asked if we could switch rooms, and eventually, we moved to room 602, which had curtains. The whole ordeal took over an hour. Sometimes I feel it's better to be cautious when choosing Airbnb-style accommodations in a foreign country; it can be quite troublesome when you really need help."

"I had a pleasant stay at HOTEL MYSTAYS Asakusa. The location was convenient for exploring Asakusa and other parts of Tokyo, with public transportation within walking distance. The room was compact, which is quite normal in Tokyo, but it was clean, comfortable, and had the basic amenities I needed. The area around the hotel was relatively quiet, so it was nice to come back and rest after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were polite and helpful, and the overall stay was comfortable and convenient. I also liked being able to explore the Asakusa area easily while still having good access to other places in Tokyo. Overall, it was a good choice for a reasonably priced and practical stay in Tokyo. I would consider staying here again on a future visit."

"The hotel is located directly opposite the Ryogoku Kokugikan, which is very convenient. It's a mere 1-minute walk from the West Exit of Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line, and that minute even includes waiting at a traffic light. The convenience is excellent, with direct access to Shinjuku via the Sobu Line. The surrounding area boasts a great selection of eateries, including yakiniku (grilled meat), sushi, izakayas, and even Marusuisan. Behind the station, there's a drugstore, a small supermarket, and convenience stores, making it incredibly handy. You can even see the Tokyo Skytree from the window. As is typical for business hotels in Japan, the room is quite small. Due to its proximity to an overpass and the train station, the environment is very noisy, so earplugs are essential for sleeping at night. The room isn't cleaned daily, but towels are replaced and trash is collected. Other than that, there's not much else to mention. But the main point is that it's cheap—a no-brainer for around 300 yen. What more could you ask for?"

"This was my second stay at the Hotel Mielparque Tokyo Ginza, and the experience was just as excellent as the first, proving my initial choice was a good one. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Ginza shopping district, making shopping and dining a breeze. Plus, with multiple subway stations nearby, getting to any attraction in Tokyo is incredibly easy. While the room size is standard for Tokyo hotels, the high ceilings give a great sense of space, so it never feels cramped. The cleanliness was, as always, outstanding. During my extended stay, the room was meticulously cleaned every day, and towels, toiletries, etc., were promptly replaced, keeping the room consistently spotless. Breakfast continues to be of a high standard, with a rich variety of well-balanced and delicious options. I enjoyed a comfortable meal every morning, providing plenty of energy for the day's activities. The hotel staff are warm and polite. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, and they patiently helped with any issues, making the entire stay very pleasant. The fact that I chose to stay here a second time speaks volumes about the quality and service of this hotel. When I visit Tokyo again in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here, and I'll also recommend it to friends traveling to Tokyo."

"This was my first trip to Tokyo and my first hotel stay in Japan, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. It's also a pet-friendly hotel, so you see lots of adorable dogs every day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for meals, and it's very close to the subway station. Coming from Narita, you barely need to change lines. Overall, it felt very comfortable, and if I ever come back to Tokyo, I'll definitely stay here again."

"This is a stylish hotel in a good location. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from JR Tokyo station, however as I had a lot of luggage with me I took a taxi from Tokyo station, which cost about 1000 Yen. The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to see - there is an entrance at street level with an automatic sliding door. The door opens to reveal the entrance to a restaurant, you then have to turn left to find the lifts which only go to the 14th floor, where the reception is. After checking-in there are a different set of lifts that go to the floors where the guest rooms are. The reception area, as with the rest of the hotel is stylish - there was a lady dressed in Kimono to help guests at the lifts! I had booked a single room , but I was upgraded to a double room free of charge. This room was a good size by Tokyo standards, with a separate toilet and a separate shower room with a bath. The washbasin was in the entrance hall, not in the bathroom. There was no desk or office chair in the room, but there was a table and corner sofa. There were power and USB sockets by the bed. As I wanted to use a laptop, I had to move the table close to the bed, so that I could plug the laptop into the power socket sit on the sofa. This wasn't the most comfortable arrangement! I would also have preferred to have the wash basin in the bathroom rather than in the entrance hall. The floor tended to get wet where I walked from the entrance door to the bed area. Even though this is a stylish hotel in a good location, with good staff and facilities I wouldn't stay here again. I need a work desk and chair to use a laptop which this room does not have. It is a boutique hotel rather than a business hotel, more suited to guests that don't need to work from the room."

"Extremely close to the station, with fully self-service check-in and check-out. The room was quite spacious, with enough room under the bed for a suitcase and the bed itself was large enough for a backpack. However, the decor style made it feel not entirely clean, and I even encountered mosquitoes. The sink and bathroom were separated from the room by a door, which was convenient, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation, though there could be queues during peak hours. My bed was closest to the bathroom, and the constant opening and closing of the door was quite noisy. Additionally, there were no restrictions on hairdryer usage times, so at past 1 AM, someone was still blowing their hair, which really disturbed my sleep. I hope this can be improved. The public space on the first floor is a bit small. Overall, for the price, it's a good value, with both pros and cons to weigh."

"The room is definitely small, just as described but it had good amenities and daily housekeeping upon request. I'd say the staff at reception were helpful but everything during check in felt rushed. The convenience store in the building has the worst service and doesn't have the best option. Id suggest the 7/11 at Ryogoku station instead where the staff were super helpful and lovely, with a range of food items."

LlijunweiThe room was comfortable, and for Japan, the size was quite good for the price. It's super close to the subway station (West Exit). Just note that if you have large luggage and need to use the elevator, you'll have to go to the other exit (East Exit).

GGuest UserI was really satisfied with the price during Chinese New Year for a hotel in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo, especially since it also had a hot spring. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly. The Higashi-Ginza subway station is right at the crossroads next to the hotel, and there are even two 'Ore no Yakiniku' restaurants nearby! 😍

GGuest User• located at the furthest exit from the Ikebukuro train station. have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the Yamanote line. the surrounding is also filled with a lot of sus shops, with girls standing around at night holding papers and shouting at men. if you’re a female they won’t bother you but if you’re a guy stay safe.  • at night can hear some shouting from the street as well.  • good; have Refa hair dryer, hair wash etc. there’s also a laundry machine, microwave, etc. which was really nice. • space wise, I think that it is very spacious especially for a solo traveller with only one luggage but if you have two, there might not be enough space for you to open your luggage.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful 4-night stay here during my trip to Japan. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. For the price, it offers excellent value. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, making it a great way to start each day. The room size is what you would typically expect in Japan—compact but well-designed and comfortable. It had everything we needed, and the hotel provided all the essential amenities. Fresh towels were replaced daily, along with two complimentary bottles of water. One thoughtful touch I really appreciated was the housekeeping service. Even when we put up the ”Do Not Disturb” sign, they fully respected our privacy and never entered the room. Instead, they hung fresh towels and bottled water on our door every day. The hotel also displayed the daily weather forecast at the reception, which was very helpful when planning our itinerary. On the day we checked out, it was raining. The receptionist patiently showed us how to get to the Skyliner through the underground station so we could avoid walking in the rain. Their kindness and excellent service truly left a lasting impression. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, and value for money. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommended!

ZZenchenkoOverall, the hotel left a pleasant impression. The location is excellent: there are several metro stations nearby, making it very convenient to get to any part of Tokyo. The breakfasts were tasty and varied – that's one of the hotel's main advantages. The room turned out to be quite small, which is expected for Tokyo, but there wasn't much free space. Also, the duvet cover was a bit surprising – it had a very unusual design and wasn't very convenient to use. A particular downside was the air conditioning. Over four nights, I couldn't manage to set a comfortable temperature: either the room was too cold, or the air conditioner barely blew at all. I couldn't find a happy medium. Otherwise, the hotel is good, especially if a convenient location and a good breakfast are important to you.

LLuguodeguanguangkeThe hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Senso-ji Temple, and there are tons of food options nearby. The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, and they even offered luggage storage. The room felt a bit like a 'hostel plus' version – pretty small, and the bathrooms were shared, but they were very clean. The facilities were also comprehensive, with a washing machine that had a drying function and a kitchen. Plus, there's a FamilyMart right downstairs. Overall, definitely recommend it!

GGuest UserLocation is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance. Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel, , comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building

GGuest UserI liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.

GGuest UserIt's a 5-10 minute walk from the metro, depending on which station you come from. There are no large shopping centers nearby. However, there's a Harry Potter station, a Harry Potter cafe, and a store. The hotel itself offers luggage storage. The capsules, lockers, and showers are all on different floors. It's a bit inconvenient having to constantly move between floors in the elevator. Inside the capsule, there are only two small shelves on the sides, though it does have a power outlet and a USB-A port. I really wish there was a bigger shelf, a hook, and a mini-safe.
