The hotel is perfect — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are great and very helpful, and the amenities provided are excellent. The location is ideal, with convenience stores (konbini) just a short walk away, making everything easy and accessible. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for two nights right after landing in Fukuoka, and even as a solo traveler, the room felt incredibly cramped. I quickly switched hotels on the third day. The room was tiny and dated, giving off a vibe reminiscent of a guesthouse from the last century. You basically stepped out of the door and were immediately at the bed. My suitcase could only perch precariously on a folding luggage rack. The cleanliness was mediocre. The bathroom seemed quite clean and looked like it had been thoroughly scrubbed, but the room walls were very dirty with black marks. It wasn't until I opened my suitcase and its wheels rubbed against the wall that I realized where those black marks came from. Even though it was a non-smoking floor, the air in the room wasn't great. After just one night, my tonsils became inflamed. Those with sensitivities should definitely avoid this place. Toiletries and bathrobes were self-service in the lobby downstairs. The small packets of toner and lotion were surprisingly good, and the compressed exfoliating mitt was also quite useful. Drinking water wasn't provided, but there was a self-service laundry room. The hotel's location is pretty good, though. Le Labo is directly across the street, and there are many trendy shops and restaurants nearby. Tenjin shopping district is also within walking distance. It was quite cheap when I booked it, so I won't complain too much. It's suitable for backpackers.

The attitude of the Indian guy at the front desk needs to be improved. Everything else is OK. The transportation is convenient. The free water bar is very warm and cost-effective. It is worth staying. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.

This accommodation offers incredible value for money! It's an older Japanese-style hotel. First, let's talk about the room. The price is very affordable compared to hotels in Tenjin and Hakata, and the room size is quite large for Japan. The tatami mat area can sleep two people, and there's also a double bed, so it's more than enough space for three guests. You can spread out your belongings on the tatami. There are extra linens in the cupboard. Next, for transportation, you get off at Ohori Park Station on the K Airport Line. It's an easy five to six-minute walk. We bought a one-day subway pass, and it paid for itself with just two rides a day. Living next to the park means the environment is excellent – quiet and natural. We could stroll through Maizuru Park and Ohori Park anytime, enjoying the ginkgo and maple leaves daily. Every day, the walk to the subway station offered the most natural and beautiful scenery. Finally, let's discuss the food. This place includes breakfast, and the rice balls 🍙 are delicious, wrapped in huge bamboo shoot husks. Coffee is free 🆓 during breakfast and check-in times, with various coffee drinks available, making you feel right at home. Everything was great. It's perfect for budget-conscious travelers. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing is a bit lacking.

Location is FANTASTIC. Right next to the train station exit— 1min walk) It is a great location for family with kids. The park nearby is the best. Fantastic lake, boat rowing, big playground, coffee shop, restaurant….. The hotel room is small but clean. We have everything we need in the room. The TV has the YouTube options. So, it is a big plus for my kid. We also love the yummy breakfast the hotel provided. Friendly staff members.

The room was generally clean and tidy, with a normal size for this type of hotel and a practical layout. The bedding was comfortable, leading to good sleep quality, and the soundproofing was decent, so I wasn't disturbed much at night. All the in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, hot water, water pressure, and Wi-Fi, worked perfectly fine for daily use. The bathroom was very clean, and the wet/dry separation design was convenient. The only minor drawback was that some of the facilities seemed a bit dated (or: the room lighting was a bit dim / there weren't enough power outlets, depending on the actual situation), but this didn't significantly impact the overall stay. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for short stays or business trips.

CClean_Martin 2026.01.10
The room was quite spacious, as it's a hotel-style apartment, which is a bit different from a regular hotel. There was a Chinese-speaking assistant at the front desk, so communication was no problem. I didn't see any non-smoking rooms when I booked, so I'm not sure if they were fully booked, but for a non-smoker, a smoking room really reeks, and they don't seem to do any smoke treatment. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with no smart features, but it was an experience to see that 'old money' style. The parking lot next door is quite expensive, around 1500-1600 yen a day, but you can enter and exit freely. You might find cheaper parking a bit further away. It's very close to the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, right after you exit. Nishijin Station is about a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options around there.

Amazing
GGuest UserAfter two unbearable nights in a tiny 14-square-meter hotel, I made a last-minute switch to One Fukuoka. I heard it was the top hotel in Fukuoka, so I wanted to give it a try. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Tenjin shopping district. You can step out and immediately start shopping, with Daimaru, PARCO, and Mitsukoshi all within walking distance. As soon as you enter the ONE FUKUOKA BLDG, you're greeted by a subtle, very soothing botanical scent. The hotel is next to an office building, so you need to look for it a bit, then take the elevator up to the 19th floor for check-in. The room is incredibly spacious. Fitting several suitcases isn't an issue, and there's even a dedicated luggage stand inside for organizing your belongings. It has a living room and a terrace directly facing The Ritz-Carlton. With double sinks and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, what more could you ask for in terms of space in Japan? The hotel is very new, and both the bed and pillows have just the right firmness. The air in the room is fresh; after one night, I didn't get my usual rhinitis, and I even achieved an unprecedented deep sleep of over an hour. Besides the usual amenities, they also provide cotton pads, hair ties, mouthwash, socks, and bath towels. The mini-bar selection is also very rich and completely free – I drank to my heart's content. The only minor flaw I found was a small ring-shaped nail on the carpet, which looked like it might have fallen off a keychain or something similar. It made me feel like the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, but overall, the cleanliness was acceptable and not dirty. There's a library bar and lounge on the guest room floor, offering unlimited complimentary drinks and desserts (they even have ice cream!). I regretted only staying for one night. The hotel's overall style reminds me a lot of The Sukhothai Shanghai – therapeutic, serene, and natural, but with a slightly more homely feel than Sukhothai. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka!

GGuest UserLocation great, subway station is just a stone’s throw away, convenient stores within a minute walk, and even Hakarta Station and malls are only within 18 minutes’ walk along the main road. The popular bakery Full Full Harkata is just kinda opposite to the hotel too. The only drawback is the room that I stayed (Standard Twin rm 1216) has only one window in the bathroom, no window in the bedroom though.

CchaospittSHI've been to Fukuoka so many times, but I've never stayed at a Daiwa Roynet Hotel before. This time, I opted for the Reizen branch, which seemed to be in better condition, mainly because of its proximity to the Reizen Park behind it. The internal facilities were spacious and up to standard, as expected. The area downstairs is a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The Gion bus stop is right outside, and there's a subway station nearby, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There are also convenience stores close by. On this particular day, I rented a car and explored Fukuoka, Itoshima, Karatsu, Takeo Onsen, Yanagawa, and Dazaifu – truly covering a lot of ground. In the early morning, I just hopped on a bus right downstairs for two stops to have a bowl of Ichiran ramen at their main Nakasu branch. That just shows you how convenient the location is!

Yyanyan2100The room was indeed quite small, which was a surprise given this was one of my 10+ trips to Japan. I specifically chose this hotel because it was recommended as a 'premium' option on Ctrip. The only real upside is the location, which is excellent, but the value for money isn't great if that's all you're considering. I initially thought the hotel's three eco-friendly cleaning policies were commendable. On the first day, I opted for just a towel change. However, on the second day, I clearly selected the full room cleaning option, but when I returned to the hotel after 7 PM, I found the room hadn't been cleaned at all, and the trash bags hadn't been replaced. It was completely overlooked. When I called the front desk, they said they were off-duty and could only replace towels and provide bottled water. We checked out the next day anyway.

GGuest UserPros: We had two adults and two children, and after confirming by phone, they added two more beds for us. This was truly the most mediocre hotel of our trip, and we stayed for two nights. The disposable toiletries were especially bad. The hot spring had only one pool, and it was packed with Koreans, which made the experience really unpleasant. We checked in on January 1st and tried to cancel on the 30th to book the Hilton near the Dome, but they wouldn't let us cancel. Oh well, I guess it was an experience. They couldn't arrange hotel parking for us either of the two days, even though it didn't seem like there were that many cars. I guess the parking lot must be small. The hotel's location is actually very good; it's a convenient 5-10 minute drive to the Ichiran main store, Hakata Bridge, and Nakasu. There are also several shopping districts nearby, which is nice. If you're looking for a good stay experience, I don't recommend this place. But if convenience is your priority, it's not bad.

AAnonymous UserLike all the other reviews here, Forza’s location can’t be beaten. Its literally less than 1 min walk from the airport bus stop. The popular Hakata Station is also within a minute walk. The location alone earns the hotel a 5 star. Checking in and out of hotel was also an ease. The staff at the counter was helpful and friendly. A bag of toiletries was also prepared for my 8 yr old with kiddy slippers, which was much appreciated. The room was decent size, we chose the 豪華雙人房 (19 sq m I think?) with a mini couch area – perfect for backpacks, a window, and a portable massage mat. I loved the magnets that we can stick to the door to let the cleaners know whether or not our room needs to be cleaned. What’s more is that there is an option to choose “Take out trash and change towels only”. This is a really thoughtful option, because we really don’t need our room to be made up every day. And it’s perfect that we can just have the trash taken out and towels changed. I was a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the hotel rooms after reading some of the reviews on here, especially when I have a kid with me. I don’t want her to get sick from the germs in the room. But to my surprise, the room was quite decent, atleast I didn’t see any visible dustballs or dirty air con ventilators. Maybe because the hotel already took action to clean all the rooms and air con vents after reading some of the reviews here about dirty air con vents? I took a photo of our room air con vents for parents to take a look =) The air purifier in the room was also very comforting. We stayed in Forza for 6 days and none of us got sick =D For the first 2 days, I did smell a bit of a urine smell when you kneel close to the carpet/toilet. It was a slight faint smell. By the 3rd day, there wasn’t much noticeable smell anymore, not sure if it was the air purifier that helped or if we got use to it. Hahaha. On one of the nights that we returned to the hotel, we noticed that the cleaners had forgotten to put a trash bag back into the trash can. So I called reception and told them. The suited man that came with a trash bag didn’t seem too friendly. He looked like he either didn’t want to be there, didn’t know what he needed to do, or that we are trying to cheat him of a plastic bag. Anyway, I had to explain that I need a trash bag because I didn’t want to make the trash can dirty. I even had to SHOW him the trash can to convince him why I needed a bag. When he finally saw the empty trash can, he gave us a plastic bag, and left an extra one inside the trash can. He didn’t seem too pleased that I was trying to help protect the hotel’s assets, he just looks as if I disturbed his night. The shower head took some time to get use to too. Normally shower heads will be placed at a slight angle, but the shower heads in our room shoots straight at a 90 degree angle, which was quite hard to use coz the water will be shooting directly at your chest, and you would need to kneel down a bit to wash your hair, otherwise you would need to hold the shower head with one hand, while washing with the other hand. It’s a bit hard to explain, so I took some photos to show. But you will know what I mean when you stay at the hotel. Anyway, overall the stay was still very pleasant. I will definitely choose Forza again the next time I visit Fukuoka. Thank you Forza.

WWidjono GozaliExpensive for what you get, but I am told that Fukuoka hotels are expensive (even more than Tokyo) because of the limited hotels compared to the amount of visitors it gets. The twin rooms are ridiculous TINY- way too small for two people and our two luggages! The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, and we were able to upgrade to a bigger twin room but you still get very bare amenities.
