"Ok where to start? Checking in was easy and they let me know of a possible upgrade. Which obviously I took. So they moved me after the second night. Which was easy, they just gave me the new room key when I came back. Service? Fantastic. They don’t speak English well but that didn’t prevent anything from being understood. Also had welcome fruit. The building is gorgeous. Also, literally right down the street from The Bund and other areas. It’s not far from the subway station either. They have some restaurants and a bar in the building. There are cafes and restaurants down the street as well (less than 5 minutes away). It can get a bit loud at night outside but you are in the heart of the city. Blackout curtains help a lot. I still slept well. I was posting on my social media about the view and everything which led to me recommending it to some friends already before I checked out this morning. As a solo female traveler I felt completely safe the entire time. Even late at night and early in the morning. I would definitely recommend it. I would stay again. "The hotel is tucked away from the main street, offering a quiet environment. It's about a 15-minute walk to the nearest subway station. The rooms were very clean, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. A special shout-out to the laundry staff who went above and beyond by helping us load the washing machine, dry our clothes, and even fold them – it saved us a significant amount of time! The late-night congee was also delicious. The airport drop-off service was very thoughtful and efficient. The curated selection at the small bookstore was also a personal highlight. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."
