This is a great form of transport that flies across the water, not floats. It flies very smoothly at 70 km/h. I traveled at night, so I couldn't see much of anything. From Macau, it's best to board on the starboard side; that way, you'll have a stunning view of the skyscrapers upon arrival in Hong Kong, especially in the evening. We boarded the ferry an hour earlier than scheduled, which was very good. I recommend this form of transport for anyone traveling to Macau from Hong Kong or back.

You can purchase tickets at a discounted price if you book in advance, but the problem was that we arrived at the ferry terminal just 10 minutes before departure, so we ended up not being able to use our tickets. It turns out tickets are non-refundable. I recommend arriving at the ferry terminal early!

I booked a ferry ticket to Macau and arrived an hour before departure. The terminal has plenty of cafes and shops. Boarding the ferry was incredibly easy; I crossed border simply by presenting my passport and scanning my ticket. I recommend buying one. Tickets cost $209 at the terminal, so buying one on the trip is a good deal. Photo of the waiting room. The ferry seats are comfortable, with plenty of legroom. The trip took an hour.

As I wrote earlier, it's a regular Hong Kong-Macau water tram. Don't expect it to be a luxury yacht. It gets you from one point to another quickly and comfortably. Don't worry about the time on your ticket. I've left on earlier flights than indicated on my ticket.
