A melhor dica que posso dar é não chegar no horário de pico ao complexo. Mais cedo (antes de chegarem todas as excursões) as filas são bem menores e fica mais agradável o passeio. Vale a pena ir ao Lishan Garden com vontade de caminhar e com uma vibe de curtir o ambiente mais aberto.

It was awe-inspiring to see the tomb from over 2,000 years ago, and the bronze chariot was the absolute highlight. Foreigners were not given preferential treatment for the elderly.

It would be good if you considered improving pit 1 for visitors. The passageway is at a very similar height to the pit, which makes it difficult to see, as is the case with pits 2 and 3. You should also consider improving the lighting.

It's a very large park. I recommend taking the shuttle (it costs money, but it's worth paying) rather than walking. Overall, there's nothing particularly interesting, so if you have some extra time, you can visit. But if you don't enjoy historical and cultural sites, don't bother visiting.

There are two museums related to Daming Palace within the scenic area. The guided tours are very professional, and I learned a lot of new knowledge. It is well worth a visit, but please note that the scenic area is very large, so it is necessary to take the electric shuttle bus within the scenic area.

If you visit Xi’an, this is definitely one of the must-see attractions. However, even if you’ve already purchased your ticket, you still have to queue to exchange it for a paper ticket, which can be very time-consuming, especially when the place is already crowded. It would be much more convenient if visitors could simply enter by scanning a QR code.That said, the place itself and the overall atmosphere are definitely worth experiencing!

I rented a bicycle and rode around the city wall. If you don't have much time, you really don't need to go all the way around the city; just strolling around the south wall and experiencing it is enough. But if you have time, going around the whole thing is a good idea.

Add this to your itinerary if you're visting Xi'an! I have been to the quarter 3 times. Walk along the main path of the quarter BUT make sure you also walk down the narrow alleyways! There are LOTS of shops and food stalls you don't want to miss. Open 24/7 too so make sure you visit!

Wang Nan was an impressive and knowledgeable guide. She explained to us as if she swallowed the whole history of Shaanxi. She contacted us on wechat a day before, informed us where to wait at the museum with her unique little doggy soft toy hanging to her guide stick. She took us through the 3 halls and explained from 10.55 to 1.30pm, with 20 min break in between. The museum is huge and crowded. Therefore the tour covered certain parts in each hall. Ideally, you can walk through and enjoy the artefacts at your own pace after the tour ends.

We purchased the entrance ticket with a guide service. The guide, Teacher DaPeng is proactive in contacting us before the visit. He is knowledgeable on the exhibits and provides a clear explanation into the history of the exhibits. There are too many exhibits but he selected the must-see exhibits and gave us enough time to view and take photos.

The four of us followed Guide Jin's guided tour of the Shaanxi History Museum. Guide Jin was well-prepared, his explanations were vivid, and he explained each national treasure in detail, connecting all the background, content, and history in a lively and engaging way. Two hours passed quickly, and we weren't tired at all. None of our group of more than ten members left the group. This proves that Guide Jin's guiding ability is extremely high! Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel, we had a huge room with 2 TVs and probably one of my favourite showers out of hundreds of hotels. The breakfast was great, staff very friendly and great location right at the heart of Xian and only 30-40min by Didi from XianBei (North Station). The exterior of the hotel didn't do it justice, but once you are in the lobby everything is taken care of. Drum and Bell towers are both easily walkable 10-15min stroll through restaurant streets and make a lovely sunset visit (open till 9pm) and wandering around the exciting if slightly chaotic street food vendors of the Muslim Quarter just next to the towers are well exploring. Get some Biang Biang or a Xian traditional Chinese Burger. The Metro is also about 10-15 mins walk roughly near the drum tower which can take you to Huaqing Palace in about 50mins North East of the city (1 simple line change) I suggest you get entry tickets and shuttle for both palace and Terracotta Warriors (+10 mins shuttle from Huaqing Palace).FromUS$ 76

The location is close to Chang乐 Gate and Yongxingfang, but you'll need to bike or take a ride-share to the subway. We mostly used taxis to get around. The decor is a bit dated, but the lobby has a distinct Shaanxi character, and the lighting and other details create a nice ambiance. The in-room amenities are complete but also quite old; they really should consider replacing things like the hair dryer. Breakfast was decent, with good roujiamo (meat burger), youpo lazi (oil-splashed chili sauce), and shepherd's purse wontons. The children enjoyed the zenggao (steamed glutinous rice cake) and black rice porridge, though the salad bar was a bit limited. The service was good. The front desk was excellent, and the service for the hot water basin beef in the restaurant was great. The lady making roujiamo was enthusiastic, and the housekeeping staff even replenished my bath bags when they noticed I like to take baths. This hotel is located right next to Xi'an's Bell Tower, in a very bustling area. Places like Chang'an Grand Bazaar and Eight Hundred Li Qin Chuan are just downstairs, making dining incredibly convenient and lively. Personally, I found it very convenient, and it's also close to the subway entrance.
Service: I thought the service was very warm. I asked if they had well-done fried eggs, and the lady making eggs in the breakfast restaurant specially made two well-done eggs for me.

It was a pleasant stay with the very reasonable price with breakfast provided.
But what it shocked us was the room we requested is FULLY NON SMOKING ROOM and the signage display a non smoking room level, you still can smell heavy cigarettes on the floor, even you can spot the cigarette smoke under the light clearly. I think the hotel caters the group tours and the local guests were arranged on the same floor and they open their doors and fully, chi-chatting to next door loudly and smoking in the same time with fully ignoring the signage warning. This is the only unpleasant way with our experience on staying 2 nights here.
Oh ya, by the way the hotel should limit the tour agent on hard selling their local package tour to the guests too repetitive. We have arranged our tour and told them all were booked in advanced, but their hard sell attitude has annoyed us many times while entering or exiting the hotel.

My first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night.
The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes!
Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe.
Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit.
However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean.
Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.)
Overall, I think it's a pretty good place.
Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!FromUS$ 6

Upon entering, we found the layout to be very well-designed. Love love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). I initially booked it just for its convenient location, expecting a 150-yuan experience for a 1500-yuan price. Yet, the overall actual feeling was comparable to the Seven Oceans Hotel in Xiamen. The room had a bidet, a large bed, welcome fruit, and they even offered a complimentary breakfast for my child. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and welcoming.

Unfortunately i didn't take many pictures but recorded videos. I booked a room type as shown in the first but received something smaller as the one in the second pic, weirdly cut. I didn't notice it as first as i was distracted by the strong smoke smell and asked the lady to change, who tried to sell me a qin shi huang mausoleum tour. Then i was brought to a room type as the one in the first pic, that's when i realised that's what i initially had booked... but there was still a smoke smell and as i really had to use the toilet i simply thought of using the A/C and opening the window, hoping it'd get better. By the evening i got startled by someone knocking at the door only to realise it was someone knocking on my neighbouring door. That's when i realised there was a 1-2cm gap between the floor and door and why i heard that loud knock. I also noticed neighbouring doors were fine and even asked the neighbouring guests if they could hear me. Anyway; that's when i demanded for a second change and only then, when i was a bit assertive and insisting on a new room, did i get a proper room. But there was small issue with the 3rd room too, with the drainage as the water took around 5mins to flow away, making noise. But that wasn't an big issue. It seems like this hotel seems to follow the procedure to give problematic rooms to customers who seem easy-going, which is a known tactic to chinese people from china but not so to foreigners. Beside of that, my stay was pleasant, the breakfast was rich and they have a big variety. I just think it was a bit of a waste of time trying to sell those tobacco smell rooms to me. You can easily fix those by endorsing proper no smoking rules or use a filter machine before, removing smoke. Beside of the convenience as it's really close to all main attractions i just find those actions subpar. Which is an issue with whoever decides to implement such strategies.FromUS$ 40

The luxury isn't overt; it's hidden in every meticulous detail.
We booked a lake-view room, and the balcony view was stunning. Stepping out onto the balcony, you could overlook Qujiangchi Park, with the beautiful lake scenery stretching before you. During the National Day holiday, we decided to make a spontaneous trip to Xi'an. We chose Shangri-La because my family had a wonderful experience at the Guangzhou Shangri-La previously. Plus, the Xi'an Shangri-La has a great location, not far from the subway station, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. While it's not directly next to tourist attractions, the advantage is that it's quiet and not noisy.
Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a garden-view room, which wasn't on the main road side and had an unobstructed view. The room was very spacious, and even though the hotel has been open for many years, the facilities are still well-maintained and very clean. Breakfast was extensive, with many local Shaanxi specialties; the 'roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger) and meatball soup were delicious.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in recent years!
The entire hotel staff is highly professional, and their excellent service is evident at every step of your stay. While waiting for a ride-hailing car in the lobby, staff members would proactively approach me to ask about my destination and offer guidance for travel if I had questions. When I was taking photos in the lobby, staff members would also come over to help me find good angles and assist with the pictures. Whether it was checking in, having breakfast, or being at the hotel's pool or bar... in every scenario during my stay, I felt meticulous and thoughtful service, with many proactive and attentive touches that made for a very comfortable experience.
I especially want to thank Flora Qiu Jianyue from the concierge team. We had three suitcases with us, and the booked car couldn't fit all of them, so we needed to move luggage back and forth. It was the scorching midday sun in Xi'an, and I was waiting in the shade with my three children. I called her over to avoid the sun, but she insisted on staying in the scorching sun to look after our luggage, helped us move it back and forth, and arranged for a different car. This small detail was truly heartwarming.
The hotel's predecessor was the historic People's Grand Hotel, now part of the Sofitel Legend brand. The building itself boasts a rich historical heritage, but it's impeccably maintained. The furniture and public areas are kept in pristine condition, appearing new and polished, and everything is meticulously cared for, striking a perfect balance between old and new.
The breakfast selection is abundant, and the taste is excellent. The toiletries provided in the room are Maison Caulières 'L'Aube des Sens,' with a sophisticated and gentle fragrance that I really enjoyed.

This hotel deserves a five-star rating! I checked in on October 1st to a business twin room, and here's why it's so great:
1. **Room**: While not brand new, it's not old either. It was very clean and tidy, and you can really tell the quality of the decor and facilities from this established five-star hotel. The business twin room had large, bright windows.
2. **Food & Drink**: The room came with four complimentary bottles of water, a fruit platter, and two yogurts.
**Breakfast**: This was five-star hotel standard, with a variety of breads, tofu pudding, noodles, pork rib soup, and even poached fish and stir-fries – basically lunch-level fare! Highly recommended!
Just about 200 meters to the right after exiting the hotel, there are many restaurants, including a popular BBQ joint and a hot pot place. They were packed with people eating outside, so they must be delicious. However, I had already eaten and didn't try them.
3. **Location**: It's less than a 5-minute walk from Datang Xishi Metro Station. The airport shuttle bus stop is across the street at the Civil Aviation Building. I left at 10 AM on October 2nd, and despite a bit of traffic on Fengcheng Road, I reached T5 Terminal in 50 minutes.
4. **Service**: The front desk staff were very proactive, enthusiastic, and genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions.
5. **Price**: On the evening of October 1st, a business twin room was only 358 RMB, including two breakfasts. Keep in mind that on the same night, even budget hotels like Hanting (Rujia) were over 300 RMB.
