We went to MGM SZ for weekend getaway, with my wifey and daughter to celebrate wedding anniversary. Right when we arrived at MGM Shenzhen, our experience was amazing!!! The checkin went very smooth and we were given an upgrade of our suite on 9/F with 270 degrees panoramic view of the sea! The room was a majestically large, with a huge balcony for us to do yoga the next morning. The interior design was nature themed and felt so relaxing. The circular tub was huge! and had a clear view out to the sky past the balcony. The hotel staff went out of their way to celebrate our anniversary by giving cake, chocolates in our room, decorating our dining table with rose petals and a flower when we went to FIAMMA, and free family photo session! The staff service, food quality and presentation of the dishes was top notch black pearl level! There was so much to do at the hotel and at the huge beach right out front. The hotel outdoor environment is definitely very unique w a beautiful unobstructed view of the sea and a 2km long beach that managed veryvwell! Lots to play there including water sports, swimming in sea and eateries.! Not least is the outdoor swimming pool, kids play facilities in hotel! I also booked a space on 3F of hotel podium to hold a celebration event with a flower backdrop installation for my wife. Karen Chen and Lisa 宝儿, of sales/events planning department, did a super splendid work, professional and accommodating in facilitating the process and ensuring our stay and celebration was excellent! Lisa was very on top of the event and answered all my queries instantly, and coordinated with the vendor to set up. Still lots great things to say, but getting to long, so in sum we will be definitely going back to MGM SZ, with friends an family, and to enjoy the many attactions and facilities that we havent done yet!!!

The MGM Shenzhen Prince Bay, nestled in the Prince Bay coastal area of Shekou, is Shenzhen's newly established luxury coastal landmark.

The hotel is surrounded by the sea on three sides, offering direct views of the expansive bay. In the evenings, as the lights come on, the illuminated buildings and the twilight sea create an incredibly atmospheric scene.

From the high-altitude terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of the harbor, the pier, and the city skyline.

With magnificent sea views on one side and urban prosperity on the other, it perfectly integrates coastal relaxation with city life.

As a high-end hotel on Shenzhen's west coast, it complements the commercial facilities of Shekou's coastal area, becoming a new destination for leisure and travel. Under the night sky, it truly showcases the modern charm of a coastal metropolis.

I must particularly mention the hotel's service. The day before check-in, a dedicated staff member reached out to me, thoroughly detailing the hotel's facilities. Tinny from the guest services team was very attentive. Specifically, upon learning that our visit coincided with our wedding anniversary, she even secretly arranged a surprise for us. After checking in, a heartfelt card and a celebratory cake were directly delivered to our room – incredibly thoughtful! Thumbs up!

Dining at the hotel's 32nd floor for dinner was a delight, offering a commanding view of the beautiful scenery. Enjoying delicious food while taking in the views was truly a pleasure!

The hotel's buffet breakfast, located in the 6th-floor lobby, was of excellent quality with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The ambiance was elegant, and the service was attentive.

The hotel's accompanying swimming pool and 24-hour gym were both in good condition, and the pool water quality was excellent.

MARK WU and ALISON LI, guest relations managers at the front desk, both provided patient and enthusiastic service.

Finally, I want to mention the hotel's travel photography service. The photographer, Ah Hong, was superb! In just half an hour, he captured many beautiful and outstanding photos!

Summary:
The MGM Shenzhen Prince Bay, in just two nights and three days, left us with wonderful memories. We are grateful for all the caring service provided by the hotel!

This was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip to Sanya 🏨. Traveling with a kid means we couldn't just enjoy a couple's getaway like before 😌. We had to take a lot into consideration and did plenty of research before choosing the family-friendly MGM as our first stop~

Checking in was standard and polite; there was none of the attitude from the staff that some online reviews mentioned. You do have to ask about certain details yourself, but everyone was quite pleasant. The hotel lobby is bright and spacious, and the public areas are decent. After all, it's an established, older hotel, so it definitely doesn't have the photo-friendly layout of a brand-new resort 📷. However, it has plenty of pools—several big and small ones—and it's not far from the beach, just a 5-minute walk. The beach has lounge chairs where our little one could dig in the sand while we relaxed on the loungers. There are quite a few beach vendors, but you can bargain for the coconuts~ The seawater wasn't cold at all this time of year, and plenty of people were swimming, though we stayed out of the water 🌊.

As for the guest room, it wasn't small. Just note that the Golf View Room we booked doesn't have a balcony. Overall, the stay was okay, though we asked the front desk for a bed guard rail and never heard back. We didn't bother following up and just had the child sleep on the mattress placed on the floor. We asked the butler for the little lion plush toy, and they generously gave us one~ Great service attitude 👍. The milk tea at the executive lounge is genuinely delicious; we stayed for two nights and drank several cups in a row, couldn't get enough~ The hotel offers plenty of activities like foam parties, plus a complimentary indoor kids' club. The cute animal zone has an extra fee, but for a 2-year-old, the soft play area is more than enough. In my wife's words, although the hotel is a bit dated, it's still pretty good and well-suited for a hassle-free, all-in-one resort stay with kids~

First off, a big shout-out to Elly for her thoughtful service! We were even upgraded to a sea-view room this time. We had originally booked a partial sea-view, but it was so off to the side you couldn't see the sea unless you were right by the window. The upgraded sea-view room was much better. Plus, the bedding in the room was super comfortable to sleep on.

The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) at the breakfast restaurant was really delicious and fragrant. I don't remember much else. The coffee at breakfast wasn't very good, so I ordered coffee delivery every day. The gym was also pretty good; the equipment was new and easy to use.
