Excellent for early morning flights! Super convenient! The subway takes you directly to Haneda Airport T3. Go up to the 2nd floor for arrivals, then to the 4th floor for self-check-in at the hotel's machines! There are complimentary skincare products available in the elevator lobby. The room isn't small. You can browse shops before security, though most restaurants close at 10 PM. There's a 24-hour convenience store. Don Quijote is on the 5th floor; it's smaller than the city ones but still nice to have, and it closes at 11 PM.

For an 8:55 AM ANA flight, the food shops open at 6:30 AM, so you can grab common foods – plenty of time.

Fantastic, definitely a four-star hotel. The lobby feels like a five-star, and the rooms are very new and spacious. The bathtub was super comfortable, I used it every night. The only downside is it's a bit far from the city center, but I would still choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. The value for money exceeded my expectations!

I stayed at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Shiodome and had a pleasant experience overall.

The hotel is conveniently located within the Shiodome complex, making it easy to access public transportation and nearby attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese and Western options. I also noticed that many international guests, especially Americans, were staying here, which gave the hotel a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

On the downside, the staff were just average not unfriendly, but not particularly warm or attentive either. The room was also smaller than it appeared in the photos, and the bathroom was very compact, with just enough space to move around comfortably. I expected a little more based on the pictures, but I understand that compact rooms are quite common in Tokyo.

One thing that could definitely be improved is the smoking area. The smoking cubicle only accommodates two people at a time. Since many guests including myself were smokers, there was often a queue during peak hours, which was quite inconvenient.

Overall, it’s a good hotel with a fantastic location and excellent breakfast. Just keep your expectations realistic regarding room size, and be prepared for the limited smoking facilities if you’re a smoker.

This is a continuation of my previous review. I had to book an extra night because I'd initially booked one day less. The hotel was able to merge both bookings when I checked in. Also, some guides mentioned that additional fees might be charged during check-in, but that wasn't the case. I only paid the amount shown on Trip.com, and didn't have to pay anything else upon arrival at the hotel.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! I absolutely love the Otemachi location – it's quiet amidst the bustling city, central, and very reasonably priced. Multiple subway and JR lines are within walking distance. Breakfast was good too! The surrounding drugstores weren't crowded, had decent prices, and no need to jostle with people.

I felt like I was given the wrong room. It was listed as 16m², but it felt nothing like the 16m² rooms I've stayed in at Osaka hotels. This hotel room is genuinely tiny, feeling more like 14m². I could only open one suitcase.

The service was good; they offer free luggage storage, and the front desk staff was excellent. The environment was also pleasant, with fresh air throughout the hotel. Do note that the lobby is underground. The nearest subway station is a bit of a walk.

They only empty the trash and replace towels daily; full room cleaning is only done every three days. The duvet was quite small and uncomfortable to sleep with, but the bed itself was very soft and comfortable.

If you don't mind the small space, I'd generally recommend it. However, I really feel like the front desk gave me the wrong room. Mine was so small, completely incomparable to what I've experienced in Osaka.

Villa Fontaine Tokyo Kayabacho is a convenient and practical hotel, especially for a business trip. The location is excellent—very close to Kayabacho subway station and, in my case, also very close to my office, which made getting around Tokyo very easy.

The room is small, with just enough space for two single beds. There is no proper desk for working, only a very small table that is only large enough for a cup of coffee or a few personal items. So if you need to work extensively from your hotel room, the setup may not be ideal.  

Breakfast was also delicious.  The menu was mostly western.

The room was clean, although the interior and furnishings look a little dated. On the positive side, the air conditioning was well maintained and worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the summer.

Overall, it is a good, no-frills choice for a business trip if your priorities are cleanliness, convenience, and easy access to the subway rather than a spacious room or extensive in-room amenities.

The hotel isn't on a main road, so it's relatively quiet. It's an acceptable walk to Tokyo Station, and there are a few other hotels nearby. The room was very clean, and the 1.8-meter bed felt spacious enough. They provided Sekkisei skincare and cleansing products, which was a nice touch for anyone who forgot their makeup remover.

However, the room size is genuinely small. There's no chair, and the desk is a folding one. What was really inconvenient was the lack of bedside tables or any extra storage space. We had two bags, and one had to stay on the floor, making overall storage difficult.

Additionally, the front desk staff were quite indifferent, making the check-in experience less than ideal. If you're only staying for one night, don't have much luggage, and don't expect much in terms of service, it's manageable.

I arrived quite late due to a night flight, but the front desk staff was still available to check me in. The night view was absolutely stunning; the garden on the 14th floor, combined with the misty rain, made for incredibly picturesque photos (I'm terrible at photography, so I couldn't do it justice!). The front desk provided a full array of toiletries and towels, and the bed was very comfortable, though the room was a bit small. I thought all restaurants in the Minato area would be closed after midnight, but I found a small eatery just a 10-minute walk away. The food was delicious and quite affordable!

I stayed at this hotel for eight nights, and it truly excels in the details. Just look at my first picture – there are charging ports right by the bed! Aside from the room being so tiny it made me question my life choices, everything else was fantastic.

The location is superb. It's a mere 4-minute walk to Suitengumae subway station and the airport bus stop, which is incredibly convenient for shopping sprees and hauling large luggage as they're interconnected. Ningyocho subway station is 800 meters away, and Hatchobori subway station is 1.2 km away. I even walked 2.8 km to the Montbell store in Ginza, Tokyo. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, as well as an Aeon supermarket that locals frequent. Plus, there's a drugstore about 800 meters away with prices even better than Matsumoto Kiyoshi.

Relatively new hotel in Umeda so condition still fine. The location is good because the whole Osaka Umeda station area is well connected, but the underground paths can be confusing because it is massive and you can get lost if you don't have a good sense of direction. In general, you can get to the hotel via Whity underground mall from JR or Hankyu station, look for Whity mall map online to have a better understanding of which exit to take (go to Whity East mall). Plenty of food options both above ground and underground.
Booked the superior double room which has an excellent open square layout instead of the typical hallway layout, so you have room to open your luggage case on the floor. 
The buffet breakfast was excellent, you can order either grilled salmon or mackerel, with plenty of other dishes. The matcha pudding was so good. The Japanese aunties working at the restaurant were so friendly. 
The public bath (not hot spring water, just hot water) was nice but I felt the water temperature was too high compared to the other baths I went to in Japan. The hot stone area was interesting but also too hot for me 😅

nice location which just within 8mins walking distance can get sannomiya transportation , it is very easy to get direct bus to kansai airport or Kobe airport 
The hotel surrounding got 7-11 and cafe/restaurant within walking distance can get it 
Besides the hotel got welcome drink, and everyday 5pm-8pm got free alcohol drinks section
Suggest for those need a place easy to get transportation
