The hotel is located in the very heart of the ancient city, offering convenient access to everything. Renovated from a Qing Dynasty courtyard, the hotel itself exudes an antique charm. A tea table in the center of the courtyard is a delightful place for evening tea. The decor is very rustic, though due to its age, the soundproofing is somewhat poor. While there's no air conditioning, the temperature wasn't too high, and the bedding was high-quality, making for a comfortable sleep.

The hotel staff deserves special mention. They carried luggage in and out of the ancient city, helped with laundry, and provided every possible assistance. Although young, their calm yet warm and attentive service gave the hotel a homely feel, which is truly commendable. If I ever visit Lijiang again, I'll definitely stay again.

The biggest surprise of my Lijiang trip! I chose this guesthouse on a whim, and the courtyard and rooms were both beautiful and comfortable. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly.

Even before checking in, the owner proactively contacted me and came to pick me up from Zhongyi Market. It's very conveniently located near Zhongyi Market, but the guesthouse was remarkably quiet, completely isolating me from the outside hustle and bustle.

Every evening, the guesthouse served sweet soup. Sitting in the beautiful courtyard, sipping the soup and chatting with the owner and other guests, the owner even tailored our itinerary to our schedule and helped with reservations.

We felt right at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!

The small yard of the inn has a good environment, the room is clean and hygienic, the top floor can see the panoramic view of the ancient city ～ breakfast is delivered, and it is very pleasant to have breakfast on the top floor and watch the city view ～ The inn brother has a very good attitude and is very enthusiastic ～ When checking out, the driver who asked for a car could not enter the ancient city. Also helped to call the tricycle operation Li ～ recommended!

This was my first time staying at a B&B, and it was a really good experience. I chose this one because it's part of the HUAZHU group, and the architecture is very unique. The guy working there was great; my flight was delayed, so I didn't get to the hotel until 10 PM, but he waited for us in the cold wind. The location is excellent, very close to Zhongyi Market. Although the breakfast selection was small, they had warm rice noodles and eggs, which was enough for me. They also offered hot drinks in the evening, and when we checked out, they even gave us a small gift: a wind chime and three bags of ancient tree pu-erh tea.

For more than 200 years, the pure wooden structure building, the yard is simple and not decorated with pompous decoration. Quiet in the middle of noisy, it is very convenient to go to various places in the ancient city. Lijiang in December was a bit cold in the morning and evening. When I came back at night, the store plugged the electric heater in advance, and I was warm when I entered the house. Next time I go to Lijiang, I will choose to live here. I hope I can have more time to drink tea in the yard.

The location of the hotel is good, it is very quiet to sleep at night, the staff are very enthusiastic and will help pick up and drop off luggage. Pushing boxes on the road in the ancient city will really make people tired. It's a very good experience, and the children are very happy to play in the yard.

Thousands of choices have chosen Huajiantang Moxiang Garden. The antique old house is really a holy place to escape the heat. It has also upgraded the snow mountain viewing room. The scenery is very good. Fortunately, the weather is very good. I saw Rizhao Jinshan in the room. Don't be too good. Going out, there is a little brother of the housekeeper sightseeing car transfer, the staff are responsive, really choose the right, I strongly recommend everyone to experience

This hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and unique. Even though it's a historic former girls' school, as a Huazhu Hotels Group property, it maintains excellent hygiene and service standards. The hotel has preserved many valuable historical artifacts, so staying here is also an opportunity to appreciate old architecture. They offer luggage transfer service, and the staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. I really wish I had more time to relax and stay a few extra days.

Suzhou Blossom Hill Hot Springs Hotel & Resort·Exploration Mansion
This place is steeped in history; the original owner, after achieving the title of 'tanhua' (a high-ranking scholar in ancient China), returned to his hometown and built this mansion. The gardens offer a 'step-by-step changing scenery' experience, and the whole place has a wonderful vibe – a quiet oasis in the midst of a bustling area. The location is superb (just a few minutes' walk to Pingjiang Road); the service is attentive (butler helped with luggage, welcome fruit, pickup/drop-off and introductions, free mini-bar)! The room was spacious, and overall, I was very satisfied. The only minor drawback might be the soundproofing isn't great, but fortunately, we were traveling as a family, and our relatives were next door. Highly recommend!

The hotel service was truly thoughtful. They reserved a room with a balcony for me in advance, offering a spacious view and beautiful scenery. Waking up to such a lovely view every day really brightened my mood ✨
Communication was also very smooth; they were quick to respond on WeChat. Any issues or requests for help were resolved promptly, almost like they could grant any wish~

Pros: Heartwarming Service, Extra Points for Pet-Friendliness

I must particularly praise the hotel's service. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently enthusiastic and responded to requests promptly. What's especially noteworthy is how friendly the staff were towards pets, proactively addressing the needs of guests traveling with animals. This was the most satisfying aspect of my stay.

Cons: Details Need Improvement, Experience Compromised

1.  **Hardware Shortcomings:** The soundproofing isn't very good. I could easily hear doors closing in the hallway at night, which affected my sleep quality.

2.  **Limited Dining Options for Pets:** Guests with pets are restricted to only a few tables near the front desk for dining, lacking a sense of exclusivity.

3.  **Flawed Breakfast Registration Process:** There was no one at the restaurant entrance to check guests in. An auntie suddenly approached me to ask for my room number while I was getting food. After I had settled down with my food, I went back into the restaurant for a drink and was asked again. The process is redundant and lacks proper standardization.

4.  **Pet-Friendliness is Superficial:** Although pets are allowed and the staff are enthusiastic, designating only the area near the front desk for pet dining falls short of genuine ”pet-friendliness.”

Overall Impression

The professionalism of the service team and their pet-friendly attitude are commendable. However, the shortcomings in hardware facilities and service details are quite prominent. If the soundproofing could be improved, and especially if the pet dining area planning could be optimized and service procedures standardized, the overall experience would be significantly enhanced.

This hotel brought us to Xushuguan, and we learned that this place was originally a Suzhou Cultural Garden. The hotel is located in it and is adjacent to the Grand Canal, so it is a small attraction. The night view of the canal bridge is good, it is quiet at night, the breakfast is of high quality, and Huajiantang is trustworthy in all aspects. It's just a little far away from Suzhou city.

Small but beautiful hotel! The underground garage is very large. When you get up from the elevator, there are tea, snacks and small items for you to pick up at the front desk. It feels very warm. It's a bit of a detour to the room, but it's a pleasant surprise. The hotel has only about 60 rooms and is surrounded by a small canal. You can take a boat after watching the promotional video. The room is 50 square meters, with smart Xiaodu, which can manage TV, curtains, air conditioning, and call the front desk, which is very convenient. I enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and supper at the hotel and fed myself well. The hotel service is also very good. I added the front desk WeChat, which responded quickly. There was also a small gift when I left. I felt that this was a hotel with special pursuits. It's the right choice when you come to Wujiang!

I stayed at the hotel on the last day of the National Day holiday, and the experience far exceeded my expectations, earning a 5-star rating. The Huajianting Hotel, under the Huazhu Group, is located in the Shajiabang Scenic Area, very close to the core attraction, Hengjing Old Street, yet offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The scenic area is exceptionally peaceful at night, thanks to the triple-layered soundproofing of the windows, so there's no need to worry about noise at night. Guests should navigate to the Huajianting Luhua Bay Reception Center upon check-in. Parking is available in the dedicated parking lot next door; a QR code scan at check-out entitles you to free parking. There are two ways to enter the hotel area: by electric cart or by boat. The front desk staff, both handsome and beautiful, will promptly assist you. The hotel opened in 2024, boasting top-notch facilities, a prime scenic location, and exceptional staff service, proactively providing attentive service to make you feel right at home. Since the hotel is located within the Shajiabang Scenic Area, the hotel stay includes admission to Shajiabang. During peak season, tickets cost 100 RMB per person, making the hotel stay a great deal and saving you the entrance fee. The scenic area offers a variety of performances and activities suitable for all ages, providing ample opportunities for sightseeing and leisure during your stay, making it especially suitable for family trips. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

I've stayed here several times, always in a family room. The room layout is excellent, with two levels – an upstairs and a downstairs. The bathroom is only downstairs, which smartly encourages the use of the stairs. The hotel's courtyard view is stunning; I almost felt like I was at the Forbidden City. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Even during the busy Chinese New Year, when staffing is tight, the hotel's service and management quality really shone through. I chatted briefly with Liu, one of the front desk staff, and learned that she had been working for over ten consecutive days. Despite the triple pay, she was exhausted both physically and mentally. Yet, the quality of service didn't dip in the slightest. Thumbs up to Liu and her colleagues! 👍 Overall, everything about this hotel is outstanding, truly reflecting the flagship brand and top-tier management of Huazhu Club. When I return to Nanjing, I will definitely stay at Hanamaki Old East Gate again. And no, I'm not a shill, thank you.

The hotel's location is excellent; stepping out, you're right on the Confucius Temple pedestrian street, and Wuyi Lane is just a short walk away. It's also very close to Zhan Garden, the Confucius Temple, and Tianxia Wenshu Archway on foot. You can easily stroll around both day and night. The top floor is accessible by key card, offering distant views of the Qinhuai River. In the evenings, there are small desserts that can be delivered to your room. The hygiene and environment are both good; the hotel seems relatively new, so the facilities and amenities are all up to par.

In Wuxiang Water Town, I told the hotel's nearest parking lot the day before. I took the dog out to play for the first time. The experience was very good. The room is comfortable. There is also welcome fruit, fresh and delicious! There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is enough. Every staff member is very enthusiastic.
Standing on the terrace at night to see, I don't think the lights in the water town are very beautiful. Because it is the off-season to play, there are not many people in the water town, and it is good to hang around.
There is a wetland park near the water town, which is also interesting. The nearby Wuxiang Mountain is not high, you can drive up. When we arrived at the foot of the mountain, we saw a parking lot. We still wanted to stop in. We saw that there was a car driving up the mountain in front, so we also drove up. There is a Tianchi landscape on the top of the mountain. Tickets are required. But we didn't go in with the dog. There is a reservoir at the foot of the mountain, the water surface is relatively large, there is also a parking lot nearby, and it is a bit wild to walk around the reservoir. The key is not to have tickets!

First off, I want to commend the front desk staff for their excellent service, especially with the room upgrade. Secondly, the hotel environment is fantastic. While breakfast is outsourced, the quality is good. Lake Biwa is incredibly close; you can take a leisurely stroll around it every day. The towering trees are beautiful and very relaxing for both mind and body. Finally, for the cons: the facilities are a bit dated. The most distressing experience was when a travel companion got stuck in the bathroom after we upgraded to a family room. The door was jammed shut and couldn't be opened, even by two staff members. Eventually, an engineer had to come and pry it open with a screwdriver. It's frightening to think what would have happened if no one else was in the room; self-rescue would have been impossible without a phone, and there's no phone in the bathroom. Due to its location, shouting for help wouldn't have reached the hallway either. I strongly suggest the hotel install call buttons in the bathrooms. Aside from that incident, everything else was great, and I highly recommend the family room.
