The service location and food was fantastic. Customer service post stay is appalling. After leaving and paying all residual amounts I receive a bill for 462 Aus Dollars. Now they’re treating to take it from my acc without my permission. This is an appallingly managed hotel. I even waited a week to have my deposits returned which they say was my banks fault. However I received an email saying, after a complaint to IHG, that I had received my deposit that happened a week latter. So despite all the positives I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you stay there please be careful.

The hotel's location is convenient, within a 10-minute walk to Central Market. The room was clean and soundproof, and the environment was quiet. Special praise: The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. I was on a 2-day tour, so I had two separate stays and stored my luggage at the hotel. However, the local tour was delayed, affecting my check-in and luggage retrieval time. They were excellent, confirming everything via email, helping to arrange things, and even delivering my luggage to my room. Truly, truly fantastic! 👍👍👍

My stay at Peppers was fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a great location. Housekeeping was outstanding and kept everything spotless. My expectations were definitely met with the room. Only two small negatives: the restaurant downstairs is extremely overpriced, and when I called 40 minutes before check-in to see if I could get my parking pass early, I was told no — I’d need to buy a normal ticket and then the pass at check-in, which felt inconvenient. Overall, I was really happy and would definitely stay here

I loved the hotel! It’s new, very beautiful, and the rooms are modern, nice, and very clean. The facilities are also lovely. It has underground parking. The breakfast was also really good, and the price was reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again. We were also very happy with the price, especially for a brand-new hotel.

This hotel has an absolutely excellent location. It is very close to the airport bus stop, making the trip to the airport incredibly convenient. Since the hotel opened in 2004, the overall facilities are a bit dated, but everything is well-maintained and in good working order. A nice bonus is that the bathroom is very spacious.

Very happy with the service regarding my order for additional services - eg surprise flowers and a birthday cake. All was very well communicated and the execution was exceptional - was a lovely surprise for my partner. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you Grand for making our stay truely memorable.

Seeing a show at HMT so very close and convenient location. Apartment was clean with everything needed for our stay. The carpark is a great addition however the entry is extremely narrow and low and very difficult to navigate in anything bigger than a very small car. Staff were excellent.

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay inside the property. However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise.

Safe enviroment for solo traveller..a little tired and needing an upgrade  but handy location in good area. Gardens and grounds need tidying. Always enjoy my stay here
