Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR station. A 3-minute stroll south also takes you to the 'ding-ding' tram stop. The A11 Airport Express bus stop is nearby, and there are CTS buses to Shenzhen Bay Port from Wan Chai Station Exit B, making travel incredibly convenient.
The hotel lobby is bright and clean. I initially booked a Deluxe Queen Room, but it had a strong musty smell. The next day, I asked the front desk to switch to an Executive Ocean View Room, which was larger, newer, and significantly more comfortable. The Executive Ocean View Rooms on floors 4 to 6 are newly renovated, while other floors feature older decor. Regardless of the floor, all room windows are sealed and cannot be opened. This means older rooms are more prone to mustiness, so I recommend opting for the newly renovated rooms if possible.
The hotel's buffet was decent; I felt the variety wasn't as extensive as similar-tier buffets in mainland China, but it's probably worth over HKD 100 in Hong Kong. We also received two complimentary coffee vouchers, allowing us to get takeaway coffee from the buffet restaurant. Overall, the service was good. I would choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Anonymous UserWe stayed at WAKE Concept Hotel for one night in a Standard Queen Room. We already knew the room would be small, so we didn’t have very high expectations. We only brought backpacks for this trip, which turned out to be a good choice because there is really no space for luggage in this room. If you’re booking the Standard Queen Room, I would recommend bringing a backpack or a small carry-on at most.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was one of the biggest issues for us. I could see quite a bit of dust and some hairs that had not been properly cleaned. The room also felt like it was not very well maintained.
The bathroom is extremely small, and when you shower, water will almost certainly splash into the toilet bowl area. The toilet flush was also not very strong, so we sometimes had to flush twice.
The bed was another downside for me. It was quite hard, and unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good sleep that night.
On the positive side, the location is very convenient. The hotel is close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and there are plenty of eateries, shops and convenience stores within walking distance. Another big plus is that there is a direct Airport Bus A21 that stops near the hotel, which makes getting to and from the airport very convenient.
Since we were only staying for one night and the small room was already within our expectations, we were still okay with the overall experience. However, if I were staying for a few nights or longer, personally, I would not choose this hotel again.
Overall, I would say this hotel is more suitable for a very short stay, especially if you are travelling light and mainly looking for a convenient location.

Guest UserWe stayed at Nathan Hotel during the National Day holiday with our child, and it was a very satisfying choice:
1. The transportation is super convenient. It's a 1-hour direct bus ride from the airport on A21, and the bus stop is just 50 meters from the hotel. Jordan Station Exit B1 is a 5-minute walk away, and Tsim Sha Tsui is a 20-minute walk.
2. We booked a twin room, which was very spacious at over 30 square meters. The two 1-meter beds could be pushed together, making it very comfortable for two adults and one child.
3. The hotel provides disposable toothbrushes, razors, and bottled drinking water. If you need more water, you can contact the front desk. The Wi-Fi speed was also very fast.
4. The cleanliness was excellent. The room was cleaned daily, and we didn't experience any bed bug bites. The mattress was soft but supportive, making for a very comfortable sleep.
The only minor downsides were that the hotel is a bit older, so the air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the shower drain was slow. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

XiaoyehuahostI read a lot of reviews before going that mentioned poor cleanliness, but it was actually fine—at least the room we stayed in was very clean. I have to give a special shout-out to the hotel staff; they were all very friendly and patient. They offer free luggage storage, and disposable slippers and toothbrushes are provided. The front desk requires a deposit of 500 HKD, payable by cash or credit card. When we paid in cash, it was refunded to us upon check-out the next day. The location is also quite good; our room even had a bay view from the bay window! It's not too far from the Causeway Bay MTR station, less than a 10-minute walk. It's worth mentioning that if you turn left out of the hotel at the traffic light and left again, there's a supermarket where water is very cheap—3 bottles for 10 dollars, and they are huge 960mL bottles 🤣 The people in Hong Kong are all so nice, not at all like what people say online. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

YuwanzhoudexiaoyuwanEvery time I visit Hong Kong, I stay here. It's become my go-to hotel, and I've been here many times. I really appreciate the hotel's eco-friendly philosophy, and the service has always been incredibly attentive, with every staff member being polite and enthusiastic! I'm so familiar with staying here now, and I know the surrounding area very well. The hotel's location is peaceful yet convenient, with large shopping malls like Times Square and the racecourse nearby. This hotel is always an excellent choice whenever I'm on Hong Kong Island! See you next time!

Anonymous UserI booked a single room at the Venice Guest House for my trip to Hong Kong. To be honest, at first glance at the price, I was a bit apprehensive, fearing the room might be too small or the environment not great. But after checking in, it was truly much better than I expected!
First, I have to praise the front desk staff – incredibly warm and friendly! Knowing it was my first time visiting Hong Kong, they not only quickly processed my check-in but also patiently introduced me to local delicacies and tourist attractions nearby. They even told me the most convenient way to take the MTR and advised me on places that are lively to visit at night. It really warmed my heart 🥰
As for the room, I booked a single room, and in a place like Hong Kong where every inch is precious, the space wasn't huge, but the layout was very reasonable, and it was kept extremely clean and tidy. The bed was just the right firmness, and I slept very comfortably. Basic amenities like air conditioning, hot water, and Wi-Fi were all well-equipped, and the hot water came out quickly, making showers very refreshing. The overall environment was better than what I imagined from the pictures online, and I felt very secure staying there.
The location is also very convenient, with a vibrant local atmosphere around. Downstairs, there are convenience stores and local tea restaurants, and right outside the building is an MTR station! This is super friendly for tourists like me who mainly rely on public transportation.
Overall, this guesthouse excels in cleanliness, convenience, and excellent service, offering great value for money. If I visit Hong Kong again, I would definitely consider staying here and would recommend it to friends on a budget who still want a comfortable stay!

LockalockOn the ground floor, there were quite a few foreigners, seemingly all exchanging currency. The hotel is located in Block B, so you need to walk further inside and take the elevator. It's quite close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station Exit N5. Right outside the building, there's an international mall, which is convenient for shopping. However, the fan inside was quite noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't really on. The overall hygiene of the building seemed just okay. The front desk staff were very nice and showed me how to use the key card access. A thoughtful touch was that they provided an adapter, as mainland Chinese and Hong Kong sockets are different.

Guest UserThe hotel offers a shuttle service to Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West MTR stations. You can enjoy a great sea view from the hotel, and the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The staff are also very enthusiastic and helpful. For this price, it's a hotel with excellent value for money in Hong Kong. It's also not far from Tsuen Wan MTR to Disneyland and Tsim Sha Tsui.
