Hotels near Renmin Square, Xi'an

"I've traveled here on business many times, and this is by far the most comfortable stay I've had. The front desk staff are diligent and responsible, always greeting guests as they pass by. They even upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, and the mattress had just the right firmness—my whole family slept soundly through the night. The bathroom features a wet-and-dry separation layout, and the toiletries are of good quality. Dining and shopping around the hotel are very convenient, and it's also quite close to the scenic spots. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the attention to detail truly shows their dedication. This will be my top choice next time I'm in town, and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Novotel Xi'an Bell Tower is located right in the city center, right next to the Bell Tower, making getting around super convenient! There's even a direct shuttle bus right outside the hotel. The room amenities were great and the environment was spotless! I stayed for three days during the National Day holiday: the hotel service was exceptionally attentive, and the breakfast was rich with great local specialties. It left a wonderful and lasting impression on my first trip to Xi'an!"

"The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well. The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening. The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean. The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions. Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be."

"Great location! It is right next to the Xi’an bell tower so the location couldn’t be any better. You have the metro right in front of the hotel and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room itself is standard, the bathroom and bed are clean, but the walls, curtains, carpet aren’t and the AC was really dirty/dusty so we didn’t turn it on. That would be the only downside. Everything else was fine."

"The overall experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel was meticulously clean, and the bedding was so soft I slept soundly. The front desk staff were attentive and answered all my questions. The location offers convenient transportation, and the facilities are well-maintained. This will be my top choice for accommodation when traveling."

"Overall, I am very satisfied. The receptionists were very kind and allow us for an early check in. The hotel was a bit dated but it was clean and spacious. The location very convenient. It is in a walking distance to the Bell Tower and Xian city wall and there are lots of local eateries around. The laundry and dryer made our trip even more comfortable. The only downside was the low pressure water in the shower and the water temperature. The water temperature was relatively warm never really turned into a hot temperature."

"The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, allowing for exercise during downtime, making for a super satisfying stay! ✨ I was pleasantly surprised to find a gym on-site with enough equipment and a clean environment. This means I can keep up with my workouts even when I'm on a business trip. Overall, my stay was excellent. The front desk service was also very good."

"Extremely satisfied! I stayed here for four consecutive days, right by all the alleys of the Muslim Quarter. There was delicious food every day, and all the must-try spots were nearby. The room was very clean with complete and new facilities. The latex pillows and mattress were just right – not too soft, not too hard. The small window could be opened for ventilation, and there was a smart toilet, plus a fresh bottle of water every day. The front desk staff were all very helpful and responded quickly to any requests! The cleaning lady did a fantastic job, keeping everything spotless. Staying here really enhanced my trip! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit."

"Home Inn Plus (Xi'an Bell Tower Metro Station Huimin Street Branch) The location is truly unbeatable – very close to the subway, making it incredibly convenient to explore the Bell Tower and Huimin Street for dining and shopping. This saves a lot of time when you're out sightseeing. The hotel is newly opened, so all the facilities are quite new, and the rooms are clean and tidy. They offer a breakfast buffet and even laundry service, plus they support late check-out, which is a huge plus for tourists. The service attitude is also excellent. Overall, it offers great value for money, and it's a perfect place to stay when visiting Xi'an. Highly recommended!"

"Traveling during the National Day holiday, the subway is definitely the most convenient option. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to the Bell Tower. It's super easy to find – just exit D of Metro Line 2 and turn right. It takes about 40 minutes by subway to Xi'an North High-speed Railway Station. The Kaiyuan Mall nearby offers great photo opportunities of the Bell and Drum Towers. And the Chang'an Grand Restaurant (with its lantern festival decor) right outside the mall is amazing; they have all the local specialties. I actually preferred Chang'an Grand Restaurant over Drunken Chang'an. Overall, the hotel service was good. Our family suite was spacious, and the hotel has a charming retro style. The electric kettle was an instant-heating type with a retro look, but it wasn't very functional, so I was glad I brought my own. The hairdryer was indeed a Dyson. The hotel even provides disposable bathtub covers for a relaxing soak. The bathroom was also thoughtfully designed with hooks for hanging clothes. The only minor downside was that the toilet didn't have a bidet function. For those who prioritize quality and enjoy local cuisine, I highly recommend eating breakfast outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast is just filling, nothing special! The breakfast at several Halal restaurants in Gaojia Courtyard Alley was excellent. I tried the *hulatang* (spicy soup) and beef *guantangbao* (soup dumplings), and both were delicious. From the hotel, you can easily do a city walk around the Bell and Drum Towers, hitting several classic spots like Fenxiang, Defuxiang, Xiangzi Temple, Gaojia Courtyard, and Shuyuanmen. I averaged 20,000 steps daily! The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to the Terracotta Army, which you can book on the first floor for 40 RMB round trip per person. Xi'an has a strong service culture!"
