Great
GGuest UserThe front desk staff had an abysmal attitude; I didn't feel like I was being served at all. There was absolutely no useful information provided – nothing about the hotel's shuttle service, the fact that the kids' club costs extra, or details about adding breakfast. The service was utterly terrible. Having stayed at so many five-star hotels, I've noticed that only the Chinese front desk staff provide the worst service, while those who speak English are far superior. The Splash water play area was good, but the Buds indoor playground charges a fee. The bakery on the first floor offers inexpensive bread that's huge and affordable. However, the Louge restaurant's prices are outrageously expensive, probably double what you'd pay outside. A bak kut teh, which normally costs around 20 SGD elsewhere, is 40 SGD here – you'd be better off adding breakfast to your stay. The location is also quite remote. Given this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel itself is beautiful, though.

MMonika LauraGreat location, amazing staff, and good facilities The location is great — within a radius of 800m, you have plenty of places to visit. Lots of great food experiences as well. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on that. The people there are amazing. They helped me a lot when I forgot my mobile phone in a taxi — a big thank you to them again! One small issue: the room had a smell at the beginning, but the crew fixed it. I think it might be because of Singapore’s climate. Overall, I can recommend this place. The swimming pool and gym are great too.

BBingBaiOur vacation experience completely exceeded expectations. The hotel truly goes above and beyond for its Treehouse guests, offering the best service. Staying in a Treehouse comes with complimentary Forage afternoon tea, 24-hour butler service, on-demand golf cart transfers to the zoo, free laundry for 5 items, a choice of à la carte breakfast at Forage or the regular buffet, wine with dessert, and a complimentary minibar. We arrived at 12 PM, and Treehouse guests have a dedicated Priority Check-in with staff who speak Mandarin. As we hadn't had lunch yet, they immediately arranged for us to have afternoon tea at Forage. After tea, a buggy took us directly to the food court at the zoo. From there, it's a short walk to the Night Safari, Singapore Zoo, and River Wonders. To get to the Bird Paradise and Rainforest Lumina, you need to go downstairs and catch a shuttle bus. It's incredibly convenient because there's a dedicated buggy path from the hotel to the zoo. We even called a buggy directly when we went to the food court for bak kut teh in the evening. The buggies are plentiful and always arrive promptly, which is very convenient. The Treehouses are divided into West and East wings, each with its own private pool, making for a total of two. These pools are exclusive to Treehouse guests, offering excellent privacy. We spent two days there and saw absolutely no one else. The public pool is on the 5th floor, not huge, but offers a fantastic view of the entire reservoir. On the same floor as the public pool, there's also a sky garden, perfect for an evening chat. The interior design of the Treehouses is also excellent, and the bathroom even has its own air conditioning. A window next to the bathtub can be opened to enjoy nature, yet still maintains great privacy. Upon check-in, I asked for an upgrade to a room facing the reservoir, but was told none were available. Our room was on the highest floor, furthest inside, facing the jungle, with a partial view of the reservoir. In the end, I found that the rooms facing the jungle offer the best privacy, as the balcony cannot be seen from the walkway outside. For breakfast, we chose Forage. The menu had quite a few options, and we could order anything we wanted. The food was pretty good. I look forward to trying the regular buffet next time. Check-out was also seamless; they took us directly to the taxi stand. Since we had no additional charges, we didn't even need to go to the front desk, which was incredibly convenient! I had seen some not-so-positive reviews before, and there weren't many specific reviews about the Treehouse experience, so experiencing it myself was truly different. The interior environment is impeccable, and the service is quite attentive. Turndown service included a turtle canvas bag. Both meals at Forage were also excellent. This experience offers great value for money in Singapore. I do have two suggestions: First, the free laundry for 5 items is pointless for guests staying one night, as they send the clothes out. You need to have them picked up before 10 AM to potentially get them back by 4 PM the same day. Second, the bathroom provides a very thoughtfully designed hotel canvas bag, but it states that it's for use during your stay, and taking it costs $35. At this price point, I think they shouldn't be so stingy about such things; it's just a canvas bag. If it's not a gift for guests, they shouldn't put it in the room at all. Overall, it was a vacation experience that far exceeded my expectations, and if I have the chance, I will definitely stay in a Treehouse again.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel for a small price. The location is convenient, with all types of transport nearby, both buses and the subway, making it easy to get everywhere. Marina Bay is truly within walking distance, and it's pleasant to stroll there in the evening. We swam in the pool both morning and evening; there were either no people or just a couple of others. Next to the hotel, there's a shopping center with a currency exchange offering good rates, and cafes with local cuisine, cheap seafood, smoothies, and fruits. The selection is good, and prices are reasonable. The room had everything necessary, from toiletries and tea to slippers and a bathrobe. Overall, the hotel is very pleasant, and the front desk staff are friendly. On the ground floor, you could take umbrellas for free, and we left our luggage for free upon check-out. It's convenient to get to/from the airport.

Vvan0ffthewallPicked Lyf at Funan cause of its accessibility to performance venues plus work. This is the second time staying at an Ascott group and serviced apartment-type hotel. The Lyf guards/staff were super helpful during check in. Rooms were from level 5 onwards, situated on both sides of the lift and via a secured door of which we had to tap our room card to access the corridor of rooms. Meaning corridor of rooms (left and right side of the lift) also had its own secured entrance. We could even use the DiscoverASR app on our phone to access our hotel room. Love this idea so much. I feel all hotels should implement this system. There was a black board outside each room for us to draw something should we wish. Each room also came with its own unique door design, which resembled local gates and doors in Singapore. Which is pretty cool! Hotel room was fairly clean, but I did find a huge fingernail on the sheets at one point, which I threw in the bin. Bathroom was good. While I do appreciate the compact creativity of the bathroom, it does not allow a guest to place the bathroom mat in the bathroom itself, without risk of getting it wet or soaked. Instead, placing it outside (in the bedroom) felt more feasible, though not aesthetically pleasing. Love the Ideology shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand wash! They always reminds me of Aesop products. Shower water pressure was good, and one could choose between shower head or rain shower. AC was good too, though I do wish that we are able to adjust the temp. I tried to set it lower than 20, but was unable to. Bed was an interesting structure of a mattress on a wooden (plank) “shelf”, which meant that it was lower than a normal bed height. This allowed for better usage of the room space, though older guests might find trouble getting up. I do love that there was a small space from the mattress, which allowed us to place our phone/charging devices, even a drink beside us. There was a small room safe was underneath the bed too. However, as the middle leg of the wooden structure also supported the weight of the structure, this meant that one might stub their toes/feet into it. Guests mentioned that they didn’t like having to crawl across the bed to draw the blinds up and down, which is exactly I had to do too. As there was some landscaping works going on, I also saw a giant grasshopper outside. Very nature vibes! There was breakfast provided daily on Level 5. Nothing fancy but still pretty decent. There was a mix of local/asian and some western cuisine on the menu. Staff at the breakfast area were super amicable and efficient. Appreciated that there was a small kettle, and two mugs in the room. Which meant there was no need to head to communal kitchen for hot water should one decide to have a cuppa or instant soup. There was however no mini fridge in the room. And no telly either, not even a small one. Not a huge issue as a staycation, but might have been a deterrent if I had been visiting. At 18sq metres, this basic one of a kind room was also much smaller than the Lyf on Elizabeth St in Melbourne - which had a telly and fridge, at 22sq metres. There was however considerable good usage of the room at Lyf @ Funan. Hanging racks instead of a wardrobe. Shelves of sorts, and hidden corners to put your stuff in. Some worked better than others. As I normally make my bed before checking out, I wondered if it was more difficult for housekeeping to make the beds of these sort of rooms considering the height and the fact that it’s wedged to the end at the window. Nevertheless, albeit the shortcomings in the functionality of a some design aspects, I would definitely still stay here again, if the price was right. They have strong competition from nearby hotels. Place is good. Safe, and easy to get to, even if it’s past midnight or 6am in the morning. The entrance to Funan is actually open, and there’s a straight lift to the hotel. maccas downstairs that opens till 2am.

SShannn_The room was clean and tidy, with a minimalist design and excellent space planning. They also offer free laundry and drying services. The front desk service was great, and there's a small bar on the first floor perfect for a drink or two in the evening; it was quite lively and had a good atmosphere! There's also an outdoor terrace on the second floor for relaxing. Given the location, the overall value for money is absolutely fantastic!

JJJun..Had a very enjoyable stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how cold and refreshing the air conditioning was, especially considering how hot the weather outside was. The location was also very convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to VivoCity, which made getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, along with supermarkets like Cold Storage and Little Farms nearby, so it was very convenient for food and daily necessities. Breakfast was enjoyable as well, with good variety and accommodating service. I especially appreciated being able to request a customized fried rice without soy sauce and gluten, which was a thoughtful touch for dietary preferences. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with great convenience and excellent service. Would definitely consider staying here again.

AAnonymous UserUgh, I forgot to take photos, so I'll use some random ones instead. First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.

YYueguangxiadewanzilunFor a country as expensive as Singapore 🇸🇬, a hostel priced in the 100s is definitely great value for money. Many local Chinese people stay here, and you can learn about Singapore's history by chatting with them. The closest MRT stations are Lavender and Jalan Besar, and it's also very near Little India, making it super convenient to get to all of Singapore's major attractions. There's a food court right downstairs, which is probably one of the cheapest dining options in Singapore, helping you save a lot on food. I stayed here for three days and thought it was pretty good!
