"I had a wonderful stay at Home Inn (Shanghai Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street The Bund Centre)—and for me, it’s a solid 5-star experience, mainly thanks to its unbeatable location and the excellent staff.
If location is your priority, this place is hard to beat. You’re just minutes away from The Bund and right by Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with most major sights within easy walking distance.
The hotel itself is more like a traditional guest house in an older building. To be completely honest, it has its quirks—my room floor had a slight slant! But that’s part of the character, and it didn’t take away from my stay at all. In fact, being tucked away in a small alley in a residential block gives it that authentic “old Shanghai” feel—like something straight out of a movie.
A couple of things to note: taxis can’t drop you right at the door, so there’s about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. And if you’re expecting polished, modern kerb appeal, this might surprise you—but if you value location and genuine hospitality, you’ll appreciate it.
The staff were consistently polite, respectful, and helpful, which really made the difference for me.
Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely return. Just come with the right expectations—and maybe think of the slightly slanted floor as part of the charm rather than a design flaw! 😄"

"First off, I think the Dihang Hotel is a great hotel. I don't understand why some people at this price point would nitpick over unreasonable requests. The male staff at the front desk was excellent, explaining all the fun places to visit in Shanghai. If you weren't sure how to get somewhere, he'd even write it down for you so you wouldn't forget. His ability to communicate and resolve issues promptly makes him perfect for the job. Plus, the hotel offers airport shuttle service, making it an ideal choice for a layover or for anyone needing to catch a flight."

"Our stay at Chuxin Moshe Hotel was fantastic! The location is super convenient for getting around, and the hotel even thoughtfully arranged Disney shuttle service, which was a huge relief. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, and the bedding was so soft that we slept incredibly well. "I highly recommend this hotel. If the rating were out of 100, I'd give it 1000! 🌟🌟 The staff are incredibly helpful and service-minded, always greeting guests upon arrival and departure. They even gave us a souvenir on check-out day. The rooms are clean, spacious, and completely free of cigarette smoke, both in the lobby and the rooms themselves. The location is excellent, not crowded, and you can easily call Didi taxi right in front of the hotel. There's a convenience store next door. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in Shanghai."

"I booked Jinjiang because I had an early flight and was traveling with a child. When we drove to the hotel, the staff's service was excellent. I reserved the shuttle for the next morning, and it took about 12 minutes to get to Terminal 2 at the airport, which was really convenient. The room was very clean, the shower water was hot, and it wasn't noisy outside the room."

"I booked this hotel for a business trip to Shanghai. It's very close to the Oriental Hub, though a bit far from the city center. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The young man at the front desk was very attentive and even upgraded my room for free. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and it's quite close to Pudong Airport; they even arranged a shuttle service. Overall, it offers excellent value for money!"
