Booked this courtyard hotel for a layover in Kunming, and it truly exceeded my expectations! ✅ Super attentive service: The butler proactively helped us with our luggage when they saw we had a child, and even prepared 'cat treats' for the baby every day to feed the cats. The attention to detail was incredibly touching! ✅ Incredibly soothing environment: The courtyard is filled with lush greenery, like a small garden, and there are nearly 10 super friendly cats. If you leave your room door open, they'll come in to play, even stretching out on the bed. They're so soft and utterly therapeutic! ✅ Convenient location: It's right near Nanping Pedestrian Street, making getting around and finding food very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and we had a particularly comfortable stay. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic. This is a hidden gem I'd highly recommend to friends traveling with children!

The facilities are very complete in all aspects, the sofa and bedding and the wardrobe are very high-quality, very high-end and textured, the overall decoration style is really like, whether it is the appearance of the hotel lobby or the interior, the rooms and corridors are very American. The high-end atmosphere is high-grade, and the service is also very good. Every waiter I met from check-in to check-out was very warm and thoughtful, and very caring. However, there is a suggestion that the sofa cushion of this suite has a broken corner cushion. If there is a condition, it is recommended to renovate it. However, the sofa is not sitting much, and the sofa cushion is not very visible, and it is not much impact. Another point that is highly recommended is that the hotel room has a smoke alarm! ! ! ! ! The room was spacious, and we had a great night's sleep with the twin beds pushed together. The water park is right downstairs, and the indoor hot spring has water jet massages. The outdoor hot springs are a bit warmer and offer better air. It was really relaxing to soak after a tiring day of activities. My kids absolutely loved the park, and breakfast was quite varied. The hotel staff were all very polite. We ate dinner at the restaurant several times, and the food was consistently good. One time, we arrived after 2 PM and they still cooked up several delicious dishes for us. They even gave us a proper birthday cake, not just a small, token one, which was a very generous and nice touch. We had a great experience and would recommend it to friends.

The hotel is located right by Dianchi Lake, with separate lanes for vehicles and pedestrians. There's an observation deck not far from the hotel, and it's about 800-900 meters to Haigeng Park and Haihong Wetland. However, you still have to walk further to get to the cable car station, and I estimate the dam is even further – I didn't go there. The hotel is 2.3 kilometers from Xingti Road Station on Metro Line 5. Our package included one complimentary drop-off service to the metro station, which was really good. It would be even better if they offered round-trip shuttle service to the metro for backpackers. However, there aren't many shops around the hotel. For dining, it's either the hotel restaurant or ordering takeout. Park 1903 Commercial Street is about 3 kilometers away, so it's more suitable if you have a car. The hotel service was excellent. The front desk staff, housekeeping, and drivers were all incredibly gentle and friendly. The manager even proactively helped us with our luggage. The hotel is quite understated; in fact, the observation deck not far away offers amazing sunrise views, but they never promote it.
