This time, I opted to steer clear of the crowded popular bays and instead chose the relatively secluded and tranquil Yazhou Bay. Booking the Royal Ocean View Suite at the Crowne Plaza Sanya Yazhou Bay was an incredible surprise and completely redefined my perception of a seaside holiday. It perfectly fulfilled all my romantic notions of a beach getaway. Stepping into the room, I couldn't help but gasp – a massive floor-to-ceiling window offered an uninterrupted view of the boundless South China Sea. There were no buildings or greenery to obstruct the view; it was incredibly expansive. Standing by the window, the endless blue where the sea meets the sky just captivated my gaze. Wave after wave rolled onto the shore, white foam lapping against the golden sand, and even my breathing slowed down. The absolute highlight was the bathtub positioned right by the window. At sunset, watching the orange hues of dusk paint the entire sea a honeyed color, with the warm orange glow filling the entire room, even my hair felt wrapped in tenderness. Every photo I took was a masterpiece requiring no editing, and the atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking. The suite was generously sized, with clear divisions between the living room and bedroom. The sofa was wonderfully soft, perfect for lounging with family, watching the sea and chatting. The complimentary 'Sea-Listening' afternoon tea was incredibly romantic, featuring delicate mini-tarts and signature cocktails. Enjoying them on the balcony table, with the sea breeze carrying a hint of the ocean's sweet and salty air, a bite of dessert and a sip of cocktail, even time seemed to slow down. Waking up and opening the balcony door in the morning, the salty sea breeze, warmed by the rising sun, enveloped me. Distant fishing boats slowly sailed across the horizon. The entire beach was quiet, with only the sound of waves – no tourist crowds, just the pure relaxation of a vacation.

Having experienced the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and considering our itinerary, I decided to try the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay. The day before our check-in, Kaylee from guest relations proactively contacted me to confirm the details and made thoughtful arrangements for us. 👍 On the day of our check-in, it was pouring rain in Haitang Bay. We were stuck with our luggage in the duty-free shop, watching the rain show no signs of stopping. I contacted Kaylee to ask if the hotel could send someone to pick us up. Kaylee informed me that the hotel didn't have vehicles that could go to the duty-free shop. However, the hotel staff later sent umbrellas for us, helped us move our luggage to the hotel's side entrance, and then the hotel shuttle took us to the lobby. 👍 The hotel lobby is much larger than the InterContinental Sanya Dadonghai, and the overall scale feels comparable to the Westin Wanning/Lingshui. The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The fruit was delicious, and the room was equipped with Baishui Mountain mineral water, with Pure Enjoyment still water for refills. During our stay, whenever I contacted Kaylee, she responded immediately and acted quickly, even when she was off duty, which was impressive! So nice! 👍 Before coming, I learned that the hotel has a large fish tank with many fish, including sea turtles and manta rays. So, I took my child to the viewing tunnel on B2. My child was deeply fascinated by the fish, especially when they saw a giant grouper. My child blurted out, ”Look, fish 2.0!” I was puzzled, and my child explained it was like ”oil tanker 2.0,” with a bunch of smaller fish (like planes) following it. 🤭 We also saw a mermaid show. However, due to the distance of the performance area and limited visibility at the bottom of the tank, we could only see silhouettes. Fortunately, there were pictures of the mermaid show on the tunnel wall, which allowed me to explain it to my child in detail. The entire tunnel wall was covered with科普资料 (scientific information) about various fish, allowing for both viewing and learning. 👍 The tunnel also had multiple observation windows, so you could find your best viewing angle. 👍 The hotel boasts a vast lawn. The beach quality is much better than Yalong Bay. We even encountered crabs during the day. 🤗 The breakfast restaurant was spacious, with ample seating. Even during peak hours, we didn't see guests waiting in line. The breakfast spread was rich, and they even offered specialty Xinglong coffee. The lobby staff were enthusiastic and all smiles. Seeing us with our luggage, they proactively helped us move it. 👍 Big kudos again to Kaylee from guest relations! 👍 And kudos to the hotel for its excellent service! 👍

We had a dedicated 24-hour butler, Zheng Delin, who was incredibly responsive to all our needs. For our anniversary, he even arranged a complimentary room setup, which was a lovely touch and added to the special occasion. The resort boasts a secluded private bay, with hardly any outside visitors. The sunsets over the ocean in the evening were romantic and therapeutic, and the happy hour at the beach bar created a fantastic atmosphere. Every room is equipped with Banyan Tree's signature aromatherapy toiletries, and upon check-in, we received a special welcome gift and fresh fruit. The floating afternoon tea experience was exceptional. The resort's buggies are available for pick-up and drop-off at any time, ensuring a smooth and uncrowded experience. It's truly a luxurious choice for couples on their honeymoon or anyone looking for a relaxing escape, far from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

No hotel is perfect; it all depends on what you're looking for. Atlantis caters to families, especially those with slightly older children, and it's also suitable for couples. If you're seeking ambiance, Instagrammable spots, and fewer crowds, you might prefer The Rosewood Sanya or The Sanya EDITION. But if your goal is a family trip with pre-teens, Atlantis is the absolute best, bar none! Let's compare it to other options: * **Compared to Universal Studios Hotel:** It offers better value for money and water activities. * **Compared to Disney Hotels:** It's incredibly good value and suitable for both boys and girls. * **Compared to Guangzhou Chimelong Hotels:** It’s more refined, sophisticated, and has an international flair. Here are the pros: 1. **Room Layouts:** There are many rooms with two 1.5-meter double beds, which is incredibly convenient for parents – those who know, know! 2. **Prompt Service:** Once you call, items are usually delivered within 5 minutes. 3. **Exceptional Cleanliness:** This is a rare find for a family-friendly hotel. 4. **Daily Replenishments:** Fresh towels and linens are provided daily, which is great if you love showering. The mini-fridge is also restocked daily, keeping the kids happy. 5. **Dining Capacity:** Despite the crowds, there are plenty of breakfast seats across two underground restaurants, plus options on the 18th and 48th floors, and a club. 6. **Comprehensive Entertainment:** The Aquaventure Waterpark, C Show, and various activities mean you won't get bored even after a week. There are a few cons, too: 1. **Beach Hawkers:** Motorbike riders on the beach constantly approach you for photos and business, which is annoying. This is a common issue in Haitang Bay. 2. **Ocean Conditions:** The waves are too strong for swimming in the sea. Although there's a designated area, I still don't recommend it. Finally, a shout-out to our butler, Blue Whale. Their service was excellent and very helpful.

Highly recommend this ocean-view room! It's very spacious and clean. A special shout-out to our butler, Kobe, whose service was exceptional. He provided timely weather updates and hotel activity information every day, and was very detailed and prompt in his responses regarding hotel services. The hotel environment is also great, and the breakfast is definitely worth trying, with options not only within the main hotel but also at the poolside restaurant and other venues. Transportation to and from places like the sky restaurant is very convenient, with services provided within about 20 minutes for those who want to experience it. The afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge is also fantastic and perfect for relaxing. Even if you're traveling alone, you won't feel lost, as staff are always available to assist. It's also quite close to the beach. Next to the hotel is 68 Food Street, which has plenty of dining options, and the hotel is also very close to the duty-free shop. Overall, it's a great place for a vacation, perfect for solo travelers or families with children. I heard they offer a complimentary bubble bath, which I unfortunately didn't get to experience, but I'll definitely be back next time if I get the chance.

The hotel amenities are complete, and it's super convenient to get to the beach with just a few minutes' walk downstairs. The coconut groves and lawns are also very photogenic, perfect for families with kids. There's a petting zoo, a mini-train, and various activities. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel service is also fantastic, and I especially want to commend Potato, our butler, who sent thoughtful greetings every day. The overall experience was excellent!

I originally booked an executive suite with a sea view on another platform, but forgot to make a reservation... By the afternoon, there were no sea view rooms left, so I temporarily chose a mountain view, which was also great. The room was spacious, and my family was very satisfied. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful, arranging two rooms for us even though the sea view rooms weren't available. I'm very grateful for their assistance. My child loved the kids' room key card. In the evening, they delivered fruit and even brought a stroller for my child. Staying at the Marriott with a child was a very thoughtful experience! The afternoon tea was delicious, but the wait was too long, about two hours. I hope they can improve that.

This is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

First, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities. The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient. Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time. Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!
