"Wonderful hostel! The best I've ever stayed in! The staff are fantastic, very welcoming. They're on-site 24/7 and always ready to help. It's incredibly clean inside, with spotless bathrooms. The temperature is perfect: the air conditioning works great, and there's adjustable air circulation inside the capsules. There's also a separate work area. Hot and cold water, tea, and coffee are always available. The location is superb, with everything within walking distance. There are many affordable places to eat nearby, and public transport is easily accessible. I'll recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore."

"This hotel got everything i needed for a short stay in Singapore. A private bathroom, a small private space of my own, bidet, shower with faucet so i could take wudhu easily, hairdryer, power socket that can be used without universal adapter (i’m from Indonesia), strategic location close to several bus stop and MRT stations, and a stand by receptionist where i can leave my luggage before and after check-in/check-out. And with IDR 1.6 mio/night too, I honestly felt so impressed. Will definitely consider coming back."

"Very nice! The hotel lobby is exceptionally beautiful and unique, and everything is clean and tidy. The staff are welcoming, and Yang Ling provided meticulous and thoughtful service with great patience. The room was comfortable, and the location is very convenient. The hotel is right by the subway, making it easy to get to all the tourist attractions. It's a great choice for both leisure travel and business trips. Truly an excellent option!"

"Great hotel with an excellent location. There's a currency exchange right at the entrance and a metro station directly under the hotel, making it super convenient to get to the airport. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street. Remember to bring plug adapters, as the outlets aren't compatible with Russian plugs. Chinatown is just around the corner, and all the main attractions are within walking distance. You can even drink the tap water! 👍🏽"

"I reli enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The best part was the staff service, everyone was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. On the other hand, the facilities inside the room are a bit old, but it was within my expectation given the hotel’s history, style and price. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean even though the facilities were a bit dated. Some minor maintenance or a refresh of the bathroom and toiletries cud make it perfect. Wi‑Fi worked fine and the air‑con was good, all at a reasonable price for wat u get."

"Stayed for 3 nights in June as the aircon at my place broke down and needed a cool environment to work and sleep. The hotel is located conveniently off Keong Siak Street with a lot of good food nearby and walking distance to mrt and Chinatown. The rooms are on the smaller side. I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor at first which has an elongated design with narrow walkway but was moved to another room at the third floor as I was not able to get any data signal in the first room to be able to work. The second room has the usual square design. It is still small with the double bed taking up more than half the space. The bed is stuck to both sides of the wall thus you literally have to ”roll” out of the bed which I do not fancy. The bed is comfortable though with soft pillows. Another peeve is the bathroom. Due to the design, whenever you shower, the water from the bath will flow to the toilet area making it wet. I really dislike a wet toilet. To resolve this, I had to move the floor towel to cover the curb between shower and toilet. Otherwise no issue. The wash basin for the second room is outside the toilet area. The usual coffee tea and bottled water are provided. The hotel also provide soft drinks in the fridge for free. There is also safe deposit box in the room. Not much storage, no chairs no table for working."

"Enjoyed my stay here, the location is excellent, and price is so much cheaper than hotels in Singapore. It's a small room but has everything you need to work and sleep. The kitchen was well equipped also. Everything was clean and modern and staff were friendly. Walls aren't super soundproof - wasn't an issue as generally people were respectful, but just something to bear in mind."

"This hotel is located in Chinatown, close to the business center, on the third street from the lively waterfront (the streets are narrow, it's an old district), and it was a very quiet spot. I opted for a room without a window, as I was only there to sleep. They took a $100 deposit, and check-in was very quick. The room was small, as stated in the hotel info, but perfectly fine for one person or two people without luggage. The room had everything: a fridge (I didn't immediately spot it under the table with a mirrored door), a TV, a safe under the bed, toothbrushes with toothpaste, slippers, a hairdryer, a kettle, a capsule coffee machine, tea and coffee, and water. The bedding was impeccably clean, the mattress was comfortable, the duvet was light, and the pillows were a bit firm but comfortable for sleeping on my side. I didn't hear any neighbors, but the drainage from the upper floors was quite loud. The air conditioning didn't disturb my sleep; it worked very quietly on the lowest setting. The shower was a bit difficult to switch between settings (the overhead pressure was weak), and the drain wasn't fast enough, so after a few minutes in the shower, you'd be standing in water. The sink also drained slowly. The Wi-Fi worked well. Overall, I liked it. I got it on a promotion and had no regrets, as accommodation in this area is expensive."

"My stay at Ibis Budget Clarke Quay completely exceeded my expectations! I'd like to especially commend the three front desk staff, Cun Hao, Yoke Ling, and Amirah, for their warm and patient service. Their fluent Mandarin meant there were absolutely no language barriers, and they provided detailed explanations for sightseeing and luggage storage. The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. While the room wasn't large, the layout was well-designed, clean, and tidy. The 24-hour front desk and free luggage storage are perfect for tourists. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Singapore!"

"Although the hotel building looks old from the outside, the interior has been newly renovated. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It's incredibly convenient that the hotel has a direct skybridge connecting to the mall, MRT station, and hawker center across the street. The only issue was that the front desk staff couldn't speak Chinese, which is fine, but their English wasn't good either. I had trouble getting directions to the skybridge; they couldn't explain it clearly."
